I've been going to Paul's Auto Care probably over the last few years. They have always been amazing. Great customer service, amazing work courteous and professional and competitive pricing. Cody and his team just finished a warranty repair by replacing my catalytic converter. And have always finished in a timely manner. These are the go to guys. I highly recommend Paul's car care. At any of there several locations.

Was needing an oil change and this shop is on the way home from work. I called the shop and the manager Cody was very helpful with getting me worked in. I have never used this shop before so wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s a small shop with a very small waiting room that seems out of place. But overall the manager and techs were extremely friendly and got me in and out within 30 minutes. Will use this shop again for my next oil change.

Fantastic service! Though I rolled in without an appointment when my car suddenly sputtered along, I was immediately helped. Could have been a lucky lull in their schedule as they were apparently waiting for parts, even so: they quickly diagnosed the problem, had the needed parts delivered in no time, and got me on my way well within the promised timeframe.I highly recommend these young men for their knowledge and work-ethic!

I brought a car up that to be inspected with the intention of buying it from a local dealer (Muhomad Yousef) and Cody and his assistant went way above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t being ripped off (thankful they kept me from buying the money pit). He looked at every point of the car and knew exactly what he was talking about. I have never had such amazing and honest customer service from an auto shop. If I lived closer, I would not go to any other shop! Very very happy with my service.

I brought my 2020 Mazda CX 5 in for 7-2023 oil change and tire rotation to Paul’s 160 college park rd. location. Left front tire lug nuts weren’t tightened. Front Left wheel fell off & significant damage to my vehicle. 9-2025 oil change & tire rotation at Paul’s in Oakbrook. I was left with “significant” oil leak. Crush washer was reused and back at Mazda cleaning up Paul’s mess.

I first took my expedition there for a tune up. They were fast and very communicative about the estimate and their progress while they worked on it. Cody was calling or texting with updates. We then took my daughters car there for a new starter and battery. and likewise they were fast and efficient with the work on her car. We have have been very pleased with their service and professionalism.

Update (see original post below): Bottom line: they found the problem, fixed it, shipped the car to us, and covered the rental car. Longer story: In response to my original post below, upper-management contacted me and offered to do whatever it takes to get the car repaired. I dropped off my car the day before we were supposed to move from SC to TN, and their master mechanic got to work on it early the next morning. He found the problem: their other mechanic cracked my fuel tank when banging on it to get the fuel pump out, which was causing a fuel leak. It's hard to believe this mechanic didn't notice this when he did it, which would have saved everyone a lot of trouble and Paul's Car Care a lot of money. As a result of the cracked tank, they had to order a new fuel tank, but we were moving that very same day. So, they offered to fix the car and ship it to us in TN. When I requested that they cover a rental car, they offered to cover $100. After a little back and forth, they offered to cover the rental car until they returned out car. A week later, they returned my car with everything working properly. --------------------------- ORIGINAL POST Bottom line: they damaged my car during the repair and didn't fix it. The story: I brought my car in for a fuel pump replacement on 5/16/2025. They replaced the fuel pump, but now I can't fill up my gas tank. Brought it back to them on 3 different occasions, but they couldn't figure out the problem or fix it. So, now I can only fill my car up with a little more than half a tank of gas, which, as you can imagine, is very inconvenient. The manager, Cody, repeated said he was "stumped" and had to call others to try and figure out the problem. And, he would only bring up possible problems when I identified them first. Seemed like he was trying to send me on my way thinking there was no way to fix the issue. He also admitted that the mechanic working on my car was inexperienced, while simultaneously claiming he couldn't have damaged anything, specifically the fuel canister that is right next to the fuel tank. And, Cody continued to insist that the mechanic does reliable work, even though redo his work by reinstalling the fuel pump the mechanic installed... Cody did offer to replace the fuel pump, said he ordered it, and scheduled a follow up appointment. But, when I showed up, he said the part never arrived. He never bothered to communicate that to me before I drove all the way across town. And, he never offered an apology for wasting my time. To their credit, they did replace several parts without charging me, but this was not without some back-and-forth. And, at the end of the day, the problem still persists. So, I'd love a refund on the fuel pump replaced—the repair that resulted in the damage. Wasted a lot of time and spent a good deal of money with this shop only to be left with a problem I didn't have before I brought my car in. Very frustrating. I would recommend you try Gerald's or Marks Super Service Center instead of Paul's Car Care.

I stopped by trying to get a headlight bulb changed on my vehicle. It was in a tight spot where only a small hand could get to it. Or you could go through the wheel well but with the tire there it would've been hard for an individual with a big hand. I stopped to see if they could remove the tire and change my bulbs to save me from doing it. The manager came out to my car and was able to change them out within a matter of minutes. Other garages I called wanted to charge me up to $500 for a 10 minute job. The staff was very professional and courteous. The cost was very minimal and he worked me right in. I had heard about this place before and the customer service was just like I was told. It may have not been a major repair job but the professionalism and demeanor was top notch. The entire staff was professional and courteous towards me. The atmosphere made me feel very comfortable during our interactions. I highly recommend this facility for future issues.

Was charged $175 to misdiagnosed the issue. They told me the rear differential was going bad and it needed to be replaced. The cost for that was $3300. I took it to a Ford dealership for a second opinion. They changed the rear differential fluid and did a software update. That fixed the problem. The cost for those repairs were $600. I specifically asked them about a software update and was told our vehicle did not have that option. Buyer Beware.

Had a nail in my tire which was causing a slow leak. Paul's service person said they couldn't find the nail. I had seen it before taking it in so they were not being honest - either they didn't look or they just wanted to sell me a new tire. When I told the service person I had seen he said - we'll your tire has dry rot so we still need to sell you a new tire. Tires are not even 2 years old and spend most of the time in my garage. I refused their offer to sell meat new tire.

In the last year, Paul's Car Care Center has been instrumental in keeping my aging Altima on the road. At the same time, they saved me over a thousand dollars, based on repair costs estimates from the local Nissan dealership. I've had valve gasket repair, lower control arm replacement, alignment, just to mention a few of the services they've provided. When I had questions about a minor repair issue, they handled my request expediently, at my convenience and at no charge. At Paul's you can talk to the actual mechanic before and after service, providing peace of mind and transparency. Shout out of THANKS to Cody and the whole team at Paul's Ladson location. Great job! You are appreciated!

Looking for a trustworthy Auto Repair Center, try the Ladson area Pauls Car Care Center. I try to do most of my automotive maintenance on my own, but there are moments when you dont have time or the skill set for some repairs. I ended up at this repair center not by choice, but in an effort to remedy issues created at a Summerville repair shop, see my reviews posted on Google. Bottom line, I went to the Ladson location upset with the world, expecting the usual repair shop confrontation, instead I was met with such professionalism and a very real concern for my dilemma. We may not have agreed on everything, but it was the overall environment of the shop that created an end result that was fair for everyone. Customer service at this location is amazing, the shop is clean, and Jaime the manager is an advocate for his maintenance team and your concerns.

This place was a literal LIFE SAVER! I had a nail in my tire and it was not safe for me to get home from the nearby fair. The staff at Paul’s Car Care went above and beyond to fit me in and get my tire taken care of. The customer service is outstanding and the prices are extremely reasonable. I will absolutely be going back for any future car care!

You don’t need a mechanic until you have to have one. My AC went out three days before I was leaving town for a cruise in Tampa. Trying to figure out what I was going to do in 95° weather is difficult when you’re dealing with so many shops that you don’t know if you can trust or not. I found one here at Paul’s that actually shot me straight answers. after a short while of diagnosing it, I figured the news would be bad and expensive when dealing with an AC. Wound up being the sensor under the dash that they were able to identify. Could’ve sold me much more expensive parts that I did not need. I was so tickled to get out of there with a not so expensive Bill. They have very knowledgeable mechanics and the guy Cody helped me have ice cold AC for my trip. I’m gonna have to stay with these people because I now feel a certain trust with their shop. they have a great oil change deal there that I’m going to take advantage of because they also do necessary inspections that these In-N-Out oil change places won’t do. I need someone to be able to check my brakes and my drive belts on a regular basis. There’s no hesitation for me to send my daughter to there shop as well. I personally can’t mess around with preventive maintenance that could’ve been taken care of so easily before an unnecessary breakdown around here in Ladson. We all don’t have time for that.
