I've been using this tire shop for going on 15 years. I've seen many managers and shop employees over the years. The latest manager, Steve, is excellent! He helped me decide on some "good value" new all season tires for my 2009 Honda. He also balanced and switched out my snow tires eliminating the vibration. I would highly rate this shop for both it's value and service.

Steve helped me with tire pressure issues, no questions asked. As soon as I pulled in, he approached and asked how he could help. I will for sure be a customer for any future tire needs and highly recommend this shop and their service!

What a help. I've been going to this place for years. Always had good luck and particularly good service. Today they fixed a problem I have been dealing with for months. I bought tires somewhere else in an emergency on a Sunday, and they have had slow leaks since. The team at Gills cleaned the mag chloride off of the wheels and tires that the other company had just left to cause slow leaks. Not even their problem and they refused to charge me, they just got it done with a smile, Thanks!

It didn't go quite as expected. I went in expecting to just replace the 2 front tires and, long story short, due to a mishap I had to have all 4 replaced so it cost me $860 instead of $360. I was going to replace the other 2 in the next few months anyway so I can't complain too much. I also turned out to need an alignment which was another 120. The staff was still very polite and apologetic.

Gill’s Point has always been friendly and accommodating. It doesn’t feel like a big tire store. Love this place.

Scam general managers a joke used a sales pitch stating that company policy won't allow them to sell me one tire if the Treads of my other tires are worn past a certain point !! I told him that was a sales pitch and a scam he claimed it was for safety reasons I told him I was driving on a donut and he was going to let me crash and burn!! so I went to discount Tire on Jewell and Kipling and they sold me One tire and they gave me a great price 62$ cs 119$ at Gills !! on Jewell and Kipling Avenue

Will definitely be back! I went to big o tires to try to get my tire plugged due to a screw being in it They told me they were unable to fix it and I need a brand new tire Came over here they said there was no reason why they couldn’t fix it and they had me out the door in 20 minutes! Highly recommend!

Update: they made it right and took care of me. quest for a decent tire shop continues. This is a mixed review, Monday I ordered tires. They should be in Wednesday, no biggie, told them I wanted to come in Thursday. Ordering the tires with Christian was an event in and of itself. Scatter brained, helping people behind me in line. And then interrupting me, proclaiming he needed to use the restroom. Huffing when I said I was approved for financing (I get it. Its not as easy as swiping a card, but come on man, this economy is hurting all of us. Called Thursday and asked if the tires came in. They said they had 3? Even though I saw 2 were coming from Denver, 2 from the Springs. Winter weather can cause delays so I get it, but I never got a call. I asked him to call me back to update me, never did. So I swung in, and apparently, they had 4 set aside for an appt on saturday, even though I asked multiple times for an appointment on thursday, and was told "we'll get you in" I greatly appreciate Steve the manager driving to pick up my 4th tire before they opened, and I do appreciate them working on me first thing (I did show up early so that probably has something to do with it) I also appreciate Snap finance helping me get these tires, but when I left my tire pressure light was on. figured it might need to reset. After a few miles I was worried, I didnt want to damage these new tires! Stopped and paid $2.50 for air and sure enough, 2 tires at 35 psi, 1 at 17 psi, 1 at 22 psi. And upon further inspection, two of my tires are mounted backwards. I think Steve does a wonderful job with customers, but the other employees need some extra guidance...

Took from 8AM until 9:40AM for tire swap. Checked at home the tire pressure: 48, 46, 38, 36 psi. Required: 35 psi. All 4 valve caps missing. Total cost: $179. I used this shop (Peerless Tires) since 2012. 14 years. Never again.

What can I say other than the folks at Peerless did a great job! I went in the other day to get some new wheels on my Toyota, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Feels like im driving a batmobile. After having gone price shopping at other competitors, I'm glad I stuck with Peerless! Steve, the store manager and Christian, both went out of their way from the time I walked in to the time I drove off the lot to make sure that I was taken care of and was comfortable with what I was getting. They had no problem answering all the questions I had. I will be returning again to get some new off-roading tires from them once my existing tires have past their prime. Thanks again!

I came here at the last minute before I had to go out of town right before they closed to get my tires mounted and balanced and then I couldn’t find my wheel lock key. The manager went above and beyond and stayed past closing to make sure I was takin care of. I will go out of my way to do business with them again! Thank You so much. That’s how you are supposed to run a business and to make sure the business gets repeat customers I wish I could find employees like this again thank you guys!

My experience was quick, painless, and informative. Despite not having an appointment or calling ahead and the snow storm today, I was taken care of right away. Steve and his team are beyond friendly. They treated me like family the moment I walked through the door. They didn’t have the tired I needed in stock but they ordered them and when they arrived, installed them within an hour, even though they were extremely busy and operating with a three person team. This is how you make life-long customers. Thank you!

I received the best service ever. It was fortuitous that I was so close to Peerless when I realized my tire was flat and was able to drive into their lot. Steve approached my car as I waited in my car for the shop to open, but in spite of the fact that the shop was not scheduled to open for a good half hour, he addressed the issues with my car immediately. It was amazing to me that he went out of his way to help me. The staff there were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. After leaving my car in their hands, I was kept informed of any issues and the status of the work being completed in a timely manner. I received excellent service and will definitely return and continue to do business with them. I will also recommend them to my friends and family.

Brought my truck in. Waited 20 minutes for them to figure out how to take off an oil filter for starters. They then asked if i had a funnel they could use. Then when they lifted my truck part of my truck was resting on the lift because the person who lifted it dint place blocks properly. Then when lowering the truck it fell off the lift because the blocks were poorly placed. I do not recommend coming here. As a prior Les Schwab employee I would never allow this kind of service in my vehicle from employees who struggle with oil changes, tool placement, and operation if machinery. Other locations may be great however Alameda and Union is not. This review is based off of my personal and professional opinion.
