Got a smog check, it was $69. This is one of the most expensive places here. The waiting room is really janky. My advice, go somewhere else.

1Hi, the best husband and wife business. No fuss and no long wait. Very friendly owner and employees. I think some people R just asking for some repairs that they will cost a lot if money and they will come and get it done for cheap. It's not that kind if place, it's just for simple car troubles and maintenance. If U don't know that then U R D 1 star costumer.

Went in to ask if they can help me install a set of brakes that I bought. I called in they said it was fine..... by the time I got there they refused and said they need to make money somehow. They were very rude about it so I left immediately.

I'm done with Pengo, formerly my go-to place for smog checks. Last time I was there, the tech broke the radiator filler neck on my Toyota Sienna while I was right beside and watching him. He was able to find the replacement part locally and install it in about an hour, but he charged ME for the part.

gentleman was very honest. did not over charge . i dont know why people are giving them bad reviews ive gone and taken my 11 year old infinti and my new model infinti. always great honest service. I do most of my own work . but sometimes i dont have time or the patience . so when i took it to them i made sure everything sounded legitimate. DOnt believe the people who are complainning . THis place offers great quality service .

Bad place. I took my car with a computer related code, and i told the guy the car wasn't starting and what the codes were. he said to leave it to do a diagnostic, which he was gonna charge me $90. The next day he called saying that he cleaned the throttle body that it could be the reason why it didn't started and if the car still the same to take it to the dealer cuz it could be the computer. I paid $200. 3 days later the car didn't start again and the same codes were on. Computer related. I took it to another shop they said i had to replace the computer i and replace spark plugs. Paid $300. Tell me why the hell knowing the codes they just clean the throttle body? When they just could replace the Damm computer and spark plugs? I could of save those $200 at first.

Very disappointed! I was still under warranty and they did not honor their work! They wanted to charge me $95 to check my car again. The codes that my car was giving, were due to the repairs that were done. The funny thing is that when I first went there, they were eager to help me, because they were going to take my money. Then after, they did not want to check the car. They just lost a good customer. Tired of getting ripped off!!!!!!! I PAID THEM $280🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

This review is way overdue. For the past four years we have been blessed with having our older model car cared for by the experts at Pengo. The pricing is reasonable and you can count on the quality of any repairs that are done at their establishment for you Today, I had to go in alone for the first time. I was a bit nervous knowing many repair shops take advantage of women like me who don’t know much about cars. That absolutely DID NOT happen at Pengo. I received the same affordable, quality service my husband and I had come to expect from Pengo. The thing I appreciate most is that you will be informed of any necessary upcoming repairs, but you are in no way pressured to have them done. In my experience, if Pengo recommends a service for your car, the recommendation is given so you can have your car running as soundly as possible for as long as possible I am very grateful for the wonderful folks at Pengo!
