I've had multiple wonderful experiences at both the service desk and the parts desk. I want to especially thank Rob who went above and beyond to help me with a parts question.

They had the service order wrong and incomplete even though I spoke with the service dept on the phone and explicitly described the issues when I made the appointment. They had a check engine light in the service order even though I specifically told them it was the blind spot detection/rear cross traffic system light. They also had no record in their system about a side mirror cover that needs to be replaced that I specifically told them about on the phone. I was told the parts dept would call me to let me know if they would have the part by my appointment date and no one ever called. In addition, this place is in the absolute worst location for any business, alongside a very busy highway where people drive well above the speed limit and getting in and out of the dealership is taking your life in your hands. If you're familiar with the Gorst area you know exactly what I mean. I regret buying a Subaru, especially from Peninsula.

I bought my Subaru at Carter Subaru in Seattle....they are such a service rip off - you have to beg for anything and pay through the nose. I will never go there again. Suggest you skip them as well. Especially when Peninsula Subaru is so reasonable, helpful and nice. Seriously, you can do better than horrible at a car dealership.

Going to the dealership for service gets a bad reputation but Sean and the rest at the Subaru service center are doing a great job. I've had my car in with them 3 times over the years and each time they are professional and pleasant. Whether my car was going to be in for a couple of hours, days or weeks they always offered a loaner car free of charge so I wasn't stranded during the work.

Finally fixed an issue that had been plaguing me for 4 years that 2 other service departments had failed to resolve. So 5 stars to this place but booo in general.

I received truly outstanding service for my 2021 Subaru Outback at Peninsula Subaru. I bought my car there three years ago and I would highly recommend them. Their service department is second to none. A special thank you to Sean in the service department.

I called with a very simple question and unfortunately the woman that answered the phone it was a bit on the rude side she seemed to be a bit bothered by my call

I'm so disappointed. I always talked this place up. I've bought 3 cars from here. I bought new tires from them and was told that my wheel bearings were going out. My car is a 2016 that I bought new and it only has 55k. So bad wheel bearings sounded like something wasn't quite right. I brought my car in for a 2nd opinion at a very reputable shop and they told me nothing was wrong. Didn't even charge me a diagnostic fee. Actually reported my car made no noises when test driven and said it was in very good shape. I will continue to purchase my vehicles from here but any major issues will be handled in an outside establishment. They do very good oil changes in house and seem honest about minor needs. I'm happy that I saved 800.00. Unhappy that Subaru would attempt to take advantage like that. Don't trust dealerships for major repairs and always get a 2nd opinion!

The owner seriously needs to lose the Yelp! sticker at the counter and claim their profile on the Sircles app. The positivity only recommendation app.

It was great. Stayed on site while the repairs were taking place. Was able to work quietly on my computer in the waiting room at a table just computer height. They kept me informed. Advise that my bearings on the rear tires were going out so we replace those and as we know preventative maintenance is cheaper than when it's broken

We had to make a unplanned service of our 2014 Forester while traveling out to Bremerton from our home in Cheyenne. The service manager made us a priority despite their lack of schedule availability for the day. The tech was honest and talked with me for a bit about driving concerns for our trip back. No up-sale, just thorough. I'm sure they're ready to move back to their normal operation but, I didn't feel like it hurt their quality.

2024-2025 Thank you to this dealership in the excellent care of the 2017 Outback. Everyone’s customer service is outstanding and genuine Kiddos to Madelyn O’Connor for always making sure the Outback is reliable for work and play.

Very impressed with Peninsula Subaru's service department! I've been regularly going there with my Crosstrek for the past ~6yrs, and have regularly been impressed with their fairness, friendliness, and quality of work, especially from Madeline and Forest. Today, Madeline *really* went above and beyond, taking the time despite being really busy, to call my extended warranty to see if they'd cover an expensive issue despite the warranty having *just* expired. I'm greatly thankful for the level of service and care she provided in helping work on my behalf to save money and ensure my Crosstrek is properly serviced. Thank you Madeline, Forest, and team!

The service department gets an A+ rating from me, I'm not going to go into logistics but this service department showed integrity, honesty, and humility. I would definitely take my Subaru back here in a heartbeat Gage is a really great service writer and he knows his stuff, thank you for treating us with dignity.

I brought my 2022 Outback in for a standard oil change. Before any inspection, I was handed a quote for $1,539. They attempted to sell me a maintenance package that included BG additives, engine cleaners, and an induction service. None of these are listed in the official Subaru maintenance schedule. In fact, one of the items was an Engine Crankcase Cleaning (EPR). This is a strong solvent flush designed for old, neglected engines with sludge. I've since learned that using this on a clean, modern engine is completely unnecessary and potentially harmful. As I said, this was before any inspection. If they had inspected, they would have seen that my cabin air filter was recently changed. But they just listed it anyway. They are recommending repairs based on a sales script, not the actual condition of your vehicle. None of what they recommended was actually necessary based on the real Subaru maintenance schedule, and my car is running fine. If you service your car here, bring your own maintenance schedule and be prepared to say no. A dealer can upsell like this and probably make more money, but they should have a hard time sleeping at night knowing that they are taking advantage of people. Not sure if another Subaru dealer will be better, but I'll give somebody else a try who prioritizes integrity. The only good thing? The oil change was relatively fast.
