Spoke with “Rich” & asked about matching tires previously purchased at a different location. Rich was able to review that order and quoted me a similar price. He ordered the tires and I arrived within the hour. My wait was about 2 hours and I was totally satisfied with their service. This location appeared to be pretty new and well maintained. Everything went well aside from the vehicle having to stay overnight which I am completely understanding of. My top console was obviously forced opened this is supposed to click back & the clips were all broken, when I spoke to the tech he rudely interrupting me said that it wasn’t him he had no business opening it I try to be calm even told him that I am not directly pointing fingers at him but when I handed my car it wasn’t like that .ultimately he said it wasn’t his fault and offer me no solution.

I needed tires and was shopping around for the best deal. Pep Boys had the best deal on a set of Pirelli P7's. I am super picky with my car, and they took great care of it while they were working on it. Within a couple of hours, the new tires were installed, and the front-end alignment was complete. There isn't a scratch on the rims, and nothing dirty in the interior. The staff and manager are very friendly, courteous, and efficient. I will be back the next time I need a set of tires.

Your guy Alex is rude and condescending as hell. Walked in and three employees were there but two were on their phones and told us go to the last guy (Alex). Would’ve rather had a guy on their phone cause Alex was speaking to my partner like he was an idiot when we just wanted to get a quote on tires. This could be the cheapest option by far and I still would’ve refused to get tires here just cause a man probably as old as my dad wanna have an attitude like a teenager. So unprofessional, and just go somewhere else. Can’t even do a quote without issues, makes sense why they got so many 1 star reviews on actual service.

I have a flat tire and no spare. I had my car towed to Pep Boys and got there shortly before they were supposed to close. The gentleman with the extra mile and still had a new tire put on in a very short time. I think I was out of of there just a little after closing time. He told me my other tires were in need of being replaced being a senior or Social Security of struggling as it is. I will try to get one replaced a month and I will be using this Pep Boys for my tires. Thank you so much guys!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went in for a tire leak, changed the wrong tire, refused to speak to me, and put on an old used tire when I payed for new. Also found a new leak just after leaving, when I asked them to check. They either didn’t check or stabbed my tire. They have not reached out to me after I complained and asked for my money back. Planning to sue for manslaughter. These people could have hurt somebody, employee name was Alex in Ocala. He refused to speak to me during checkout after I asked why he didn’t check the tires for leaks. I payed my bill but didn’t know they actually changed the wrong tire and refused to test for leaks

I arrived at Sam's club at 6:45 and they closed at 7 and said they didn't have time to install my 2 batteries on my 2020 F250. My batteries were shot and I needed to get new ones asap. I called Pep boys and asked if they'd be able to help me install 2 heavy duty batteries and they said absolutely. I came in and Sean greeted me. He did a fantastic job. Was very knowledgeable and professional. After picking 2 batteries he came out and quickly replaced the 2 batteries. We chatted about his time in Ocala and I made a friend. Very nice guy. Getting married in November. Congratulations Sean! I highly recommend Pep Boys.

I’ll make an appointment with them they tell me upfront after that. I diagnose everything how much it’s gonna cost me and they do a great job. It’s completed their interior. Customer waiting area is awesome because they have the availability of a little table with USB plugs and regular plugs so I was able to do my work while I waited. I will always use Pet Boys in Ocala right now.

From the time I went online trying to find a place that would repair my tire sensors there was a lot of scammers going around and prices were out of this world but then I came across Pep Boys we deal with them a lot my company who I work for Fleetpride Truck Centre they do most of our repairs so I went to them. I put in what I wanted and what needs to be done booked an appointment arrive for my hair appointment on time was greeted by the by the front desk gentleman who was very polite prompt tone‘s job came back to me within a couple of minutes told me what was wrong with my vehicle I said okay go ahead and do it sat in the lounge drink some coffee nice and clean you returned to me telling me Mr. Mike your vehicle is ready. I walk to the desk check the price explained everything to me. Find the papers paid with my credit card and walked out overall fantastic service guys. I will be coming again if I need your help thank you once again.

Man I wanted to leave 5 stars but after picking up my vehicle and seeing what they have done to it I’m pissed. The guys at the front counter were great tho. Mind you I’ve owned the vehicle for a month and keep it detailed. This is what I get after spending 1600 for ac repair and then having the van for at least a month.

I was in the middle of a 8-hour road trip when my water pump went out. I had my truck towed 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. Service was friendly. Sunday morning they contacted me about what needed to be fixed. They had it all done earlier than estimated and I was out of there and to my destination for sundown. Everyone is friendly and the truck is still running. Couldn't have been a better service experience.

I had an alignment service at Pep Boys, 2035 S.W. College Rd, Ocala, Florida on January 6, 2026, and it was done incorrectly. The staff admitted the mistake, which ended up damaging two new tires on my vehicle. Despite acknowledging the problem, they refused to reimburse me and were unprofessional in their handling. I have all documentation, recordings, and photos of the damages. I do not recommend this location due to the poor service and lack of accountability, on the oil change they forget to close the air filter cap and lied about it

Extremely rude interaction. I came in around 7:15PM on a Saturday. There had been a semi truck wreck on the expressway about 3 miles up the road that I was behind and my tire was punctured. I had to stop and wait for police with the person who was hit. I came in to PepBoys and asked about getting my tired patched. The gentleman working the front counter (Alex) responded extremely rudely and coarsely with "It's a bit LATE for that don't you think?!". I explained to him the situation and he got extremely irritated and and said they'd work on it but I needed to "Move my damn car closer because" he couldn't work on it "all the way over there". I moved the car where he asked me to, and the other gentleman who was extremely kind, pulled it into the bay while Alex took my information. He went into the bay and came back a few minutes later and rudely went "Where's the key for these tires?". My car had the locking lugs, which I had told him when I came in. I informed him again that I didn't have the key. His response? "How the hell am I supposed to patch your tire if I can't get the damn tire off?". I explained I didn't know that would have to be done, and didn't know that they wouldn't have a key for it. My fiance had called a bit earlier but I never heard anything back, and apparently they had told her they wouldn't be able to have a tech remove the key until the morning. I had arrived at PepBoys before she told me this exchange. How is this important? It's at this point when Alex tossed his clipboard on the desk and aggressively and condescendingly said between being huffy "Wait.... Did some girl call here earlier about this car? I already told that girl on the phone that there's no tech until tomorrow to do it. I'll put some air in your tires, but that's it. I'm not doing it tonight. Come back tomorrow.". I get coming in 45 minutes until close isn't ideal, but to be insanely rude and condescending and nasty to someone is uncalled for. It was a tire patch, not a complete engine rebuild. If these are the kind of people that PepBoys is allowing to work for them then I won't be coming to them anymore.

Had a mechanical failure - vehicle overheating - en route home to Ga from Fl on a Sunday afternoon. Quickly pulled off highway refilled radiator but overheating issue remained. Had vehicle towed to Pep Boys for the repair and tow truck transport me to a hotel. Chose pep boys because I've used them in the past but they are not service provider back home. I spoke with one individual, I think Rich, giving him the heads up my vehicle was coming for repair. The Mgr took care of me the following morning. Got vehicle assessed then gave me paperwork on cost and gave me a reasonable discount on parts. I was very pleased overall, had coffee in clean lobby, was comfortable during my 3-4-hour radiator replacement repair. Was a little pricey but understood and felt like price was fair. Kudos to the Mgr who helped me and Rich who I called the night before. Even the mechanic was courteous when they showed me the issue in the job. Would have preferred to see a lifetime warranty rather than 1 year. All was well and afterwards had a nice safe drive home. Thank you Pep Boys!

If I could give 0 stars to this location I would. I arrived at this Pep Boys location at 8:00 AM yesterday morning for a confirmed coolant hose leak. After checking in, I was told to wait in the back while they diagnosed the issue. I was later quoted around $400 and informed the replacement hose would arrive in the afternoon. With no other transportation, I agreed and waited. From that point forward, communication was nearly nonexistent. No updates were given unless I went searching for someone. At approximately 1:30 PM—over five hours later—I was finally told the part would arrive in “15 minutes” and that labor would take about an hour, implying completion around 3:00 PM. By 4:30 PM, with still no progress, I went back to the front desk. Only then was it revealed that the wrong part had been ordered. Instead of clearly taking responsibility, the advisor attempted to downplay the mistake and “show” me the issue, as if it were not obvious that an incorrect hose had been ordered and an entire day wasted due to their error. When I asked for my vehicle to be put back together so I could leave, the situation deteriorated further. Not only was the interaction handled poorly, but the car was returned to me in a careless and unprofessional state. The damaged hose was simply thrown into the engine bay rather than being properly reinstalled or secured. The engine cover was also left unseated and not clipped back into place. No attempt was made to return the vehicle in the same condition it was received. As I was leaving, a technician who had not been involved in the service interaction made inappropriate and unprofessional remarks instead of allowing the situation to be resolved calmly. This experience reflects a complete breakdown in basic service standards: • Wrong part ordered • No proactive communication • Hours of wasted time • Poor reassembly of the vehicle • Unprofessional staff conduct Mistakes happen in automotive repair. What matters is accountability and professionalism. This location demonstrated neither. I would strongly caution anyone who values their time, their vehicle, and respectful treatment to reconsider trusting this shop.
