My vehicle had a dealer recall on the brake hose. Went to Pep Boys for a second opinion on what else dealer said was needed. The technicians advised me that my car didn't need all the things the dealership claimed. In addition, they cleaned up the engine parts sprayed with brake fluid left by the dealership's tech. I'll always be a loyal customer to Pep Boys.

Four new tires installed 2/21/22 satisfied with them so far. A bit disappointed that I had not scheduled my appointment online correctly. This store didn’t have the particular equipment to do an alignment for a 2016 Charger R/T. I thought that the multi point inspection would’ve caught my battery was in desperate need of replacement oh well AutoZone took care of that for me.As a footnote still haven’t been able to register for the supposed free roadside assistance waiting and hoping I get an email back from customer service

My favorite Assistant Manager changed stores, and I was sooo happy to reconnect with her. Tia at store on Midlothian-Chesterfield is my person. She is always cheerful, and helpful. She makes sure you know and understand what is going on before the service is rendered. I know my vehicle is in good hands with her. The customer service is nice but the quality of the work is not. I have brought my old car for an alignment and my girlfriends car for rotation and tire balancing and both cars upon pick up were pulling worse than they were before. I took my car to discount tire for another alignment and my car was fine. My girlfriend’s car only needed a rotation and balance but now the car is not driving straight (it was before) and I have to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Again I appreciate the good customer service, buddy is a very nice guy and the woman at the front desk was very pleasant as well but the quality of the service has left a bad taste in my mouth for this location. One bad service could be an accident, two in a row is enough for me.

I had a concern with my car starting. I thought I heard a rough start so I immediately took it to PepBoys on Midlothian Pike in Richmond, VA. I was greeted immediately. I explained to the manager what I was in for and he explained in detail what they were going to do. Lucky enough they did not find anything but he gave me further instruction on what to do if it happens again. I really appreciated the guidance. Plus he is a foodie and gave me a place that has the best burgers. 🤣😂🤣. I also overheard him explain to a customer the importance of having good tires. The young man listened instead of trying to be cheap. Actually Pep Boys is one of the best deals in town when it comes to tires.
