My wife’s vehicle became stuck at a gym parking lot a few nights ago, we have been unable to get the car started due to an issue with the brakes. After calling multiple places in the area to find an available mechanic that was good working with european cars, or one that would answer the phone at all, Perez and Son’s was able to provide quick and efficient assistance within 30 minutes for a fair price. His technician even showed us exactly what he did to fix the issue at hand in the case we run into the same situation in the future. Thank you again!

My axel was broken, and they came out to me to fix it since the car was undriveable. I didn’t have the key to take off my tire and the mechanic Andy drove me himself to go get one, on top of transmission fluid and missing screw for the axel. He came out the next day to finish the job, and I got wrapped up with school, but they still finished everything and trusted me to pay them after. 10/10 recommend!

Outstanding experience with Perez and Sons mobile mechanics. Mr. Perez answered my call promptly in the evening and scheduled service for early A.M. next day. The mechanic who came out (Marcos) was totally knowledgeable and efficient with service. Upper and lower ball joints on both sides for a Suburban Z71 4 wheel drive in about 2 hrs and at the best price throughout the city. I called several mobile and service shops for quotes and no one came close to Mr. Perez's price. I will definitely be calling Perez and Sons mobile mechanics in the future for any other mechanical needs, including automotive electrical work.

Great experience. Called them up to set up a diagnostic test, they came out asap and advised of costs. Didn’t give me run around at all. Once vehicle started to be worked on, mechanic advised of some parts that were purchased that could be returned and was able to save a decent amount of money. Very knowledgeable mechanics and got job done in one day after parts purchase. Time frame from phone call, diagnosis, part purchase, to truck being on the road was 4 days. Full suspension overhaul on 2010 Ford F150. They do a full range of mechanics and best part is they are mobile. Will definitely use them again for future fixes. Thanks again Mr. Perez.

Highly recommend! We are from Eagle Pass and we were in New Mexico for a wedding. We had been having car issues the whole trip and it finally broke down on Saturday night Memorial Day weekend. We went online and the 1st mobile mechanic we called told us he wasn’t taking new clients and didn’t even let us explain what we needed. The second one we called was Perez and Son’s Garage and the owner answered and told us he had a lot of work on Saturday, mind you we called him at 6 pm, but that he could help us the next day on Sunday in the morning. We were really happy that he could help us on a Sunday and on Memorial Day weekend. The owner was very communicative the next day and gave us a time but unfortunately his mechanic could not go but since he made the commitment he assured us he would help us himself. He was very professional, took apart the truck to reach the alternator and even gave us a ride to go buy the part. He then applied the new alternator and made sure it worked for a while before he took off. He was very knowledgeable and explained how to monitor the truck on our way back home. Once he was done we traveled 8 hours home without complications and he called us the next day to make sure we had gotten home ok. We were very lucky to have contacted such a great mechanic and individual and we highly recommend his work.

No joke - broke down in El Paso, after limping in front Alpine, on a cross-state road trip with my daughter … on a tight schedule trying desperately to get her to the Grand Canyon for her move-in date at her new job for the next three months … over 1000 miles away from home. One of the mechanics met me bright and early on a Sunday morning, when almost no other shop was open. They confirmed the problem in no time, and began the hunt for the part. They bent over backwards, spending the whole day and next morning searching for the last replacement part (new or used) that was available in El Paso (literally), including visits to junkyards. And then they busted their butts to get the part installed and me and my daughter back on the road. Communication was great - they kept me informed with routine status updates the entire time, and truly treated me like family through the whole ordeal … they even drove my daughter and me to get something to eat! The price was more than fair, the work proficient, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! This world needs more honest and caring people like Ricardo, Marcos, and Pablo (Perez and Son’s)!!!

I highly recommend these guys! Saw their tik tok video and called the number. Spoke to Marcos who was super helpful and sent out his tech, Pablo the very next morning. He was able to diagnose and fix our challenger within the hour or so he was there. We told Marcos we were moving out of state and he recommended they take the car to the shop to get her looked at and make sure they fixed the issues. The car was only there for 2 hours or so (maybe not even that long) and their receptionist called and stated it was ready. She was very polite and broke down everything to where I could explain it. Definitely call these guys if you need the job done right and doesnt burn a whole thru your pocket.

Broke down in El Paso traveling cross country, no one wanted to help us until the next morning, I called Perez and sons, and they had a mechanic working on our vehicle within the hour. Big thanks to Ricardo and Marcos who took care of us and got us back on the road! This is an auto mechanic shop that truly cares about their customers, and perform top-notch mechanical work, all at a fair price! I highly recommend! By the way, we made it to our destination in Georgia, 1200 miles away, and our vehicle ran even better than it had before once they topped off the fluids and made sure our car was good to go!

My check engine light came on, and I called them about replacing an engine part. They were quick and very courteous. They offered to order the part for me, or told me I could bring my own part. I opted to bring my own part. It took about 30 min, and they played cartoons for my son (4y) while we waited. Also my AC wasnt blowing cold, but it was after they fixed whatever was wrong with my car, and it started working again. Honestly, they were a life saver. You couldn't ask for a better mechanic shop. Thank you guys so much!

Very unprofessional service. The address on the website isn’t even correct. Took my car into get new brake pads and to fix my dust shield, which was making a noise In the front of my car. The workers there do the job, spin the tire, with the tire, still making noise and said “it’ll go away in an hour of driving” I asked him if they were sure and they said “I’ve been doing this since I was 13 bro”. Just for the noise to be worse the next day. When I called the shop to let them know, the owner hung up. Had to chase this dude a little bit because I needed to get my car fixed so I can DoorDash, They offered to send a technician, but for a price which I was unwilling to pay because it was their mistake. Inconsistent Service, matched with poor communication skills. I would avoid.

Don't hire this place. They had my car for 3 weeks. They brought it back to me the same way I left it. The owner was very rude and got mad whenever I would call to check on their progress. They aren't at the location that they say in their ad. They're located by red sands. Made it hard for me to check on my car. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!! They will rip you off. The worst mechanics ever. Don't use these guys.

We have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude that would not start. Perez and Sons went over to the apartment and said it would need to be towed to their shop. It was towed and we were told it was the starter. So within a day we were told that it was fixed and ready to go. As we were leaving the shop, we noticed the check engine light is on and the ‘Engine Throttle’ (lightning bolt) icon which we had never seen appear on the dashboard before we had them work on it. As we continued driving the Jeep kept stuttering and would not go over 33 MPH. We turned around and went back. The mechanics were at first aggressive saying “we were told it wouldn’t start so that is what we fixed.” Continuing with “we don’t know what happened to this car before it was brought in.” So it seems if you don’t know before hand what’s wrong with the car. They only look at certain things to fix which I thought mechanics look at the entire system not just one part of it. They ran diagnostics again and we waited there for over an hour to see what was the issue. He said it was the master air flow and the engine throttle that was causing issues. The mechanic said they would need to keep it and run a longer diagnostic. Next day he told us that they needed to replace the master air flow and the engine throttle. Sent us over the link to pay and paid it. A few hours later another mechanic there called and accused us that we didn’t pay and that they were going to remove the parts if payment wasn’t made. We had sent the confirmation page to Marco the main mechanic we have been talking to. Apparently he never saw the message. We finally picked up the vehicle and it drove good. But we noticed the check engine light was still on. We called and they said it’s due to the sensor and nothing else was explained. The day after we tried to drive and it brought up the same error of the Engine Throttle and we can no longer drive it again. No invoices were sent to us from this shop. I highly recommend not to ever come to this shop. They scam you out of hundreds of dollars to just put a bandaid and say it’s fixed.

The mechanic knew what to look for and resolved the issue. In speaking with the mechanic that fixed my car he has 13yrs experience. They were really nice and informative not only in person but over the phone. Will be taking my autos there from now on.

I brought my vehicle to this shop based on the owner’s initial claim that he specializes in European cars. I own a Maserati, so that assurance was a key factor in my decision. I paid $100 for what was described as a diagnostic. After the diagnostic was completed, I was not provided with any written report, paperwork, scan results, or documented findings—only verbal statements. This was not an isolated issue. The owner also ran a diagnostic on my partner’s vehicle and likewise did not provide any documentation or written results. He additionally stated he would obtain pricing for suspension-related repairs on that vehicle but failed to do so in a timely manner. When asked about the delay, his explanation was that he “forgot” and that it was the holidays—an explanation that is difficult to accept when customers are waiting on information they were promised. After my diagnostic, the owner was unable to provide pricing for any of the parts he claimed were needed. There was no parts list, no labor estimate, and no clear outline of next steps. Despite presenting himself as experienced with European vehicles, he could not provide even a rough cost range. This made it unclear what value the diagnostic was intended to provide. The owner also stated that he would feel “unethical” allowing me to continue driving the vehicle due to allegedly unsafe wheels, yet no repair plan, quote, or actionable solution was offered. No repair work was performed, and no services were rendered beyond verbal discussion. Compounding the experience, the shop had relocated, and the new address had not been properly updated. As a result, we traveled unnecessarily and ended up at least two hours away from where we live, which added avoidable inconvenience and frustration. Because there was no documentation, no pricing, and no tangible service outcome, I requested a refund. When I later messaged the owner requesting my money back and informing him that I would be posting a Google review to document my experience, he called me in an upset and defensive manner. During that call, his tone was rude, extremely unprofessional, and he hung up on me, which further reinforced my concerns about how customers are treated. I expect transparency, follow-through, and basic professionalism when paying for diagnostics and automotive services. Unfortunately, this experience lacked clear communication, accountability, and respect. It is already difficult to find honest, reliable mechanics who stand behind their work and communicate clearly, and this experience did not meet those expectations. Based on what we experienced, I cannot recommend this shop.
