The owner is friendly and rates are good but not sure they knew what they were doing when replacing brake pads on my lexus suv. Experienced extreme brake shudder after their work, took vehicle back and they inspected saying everything was fine. Problem persisted and I ended up going back to lexus dealer for service. They said things were glued (improperly) and replaced everything. Problem went away.

Brake job done in December 2023, Went back 2 weeks ago to have them check on the work done. Front brake pads and rotors are making a grumbling noise and creaks when coming from a stop. One of their mechanics confirmed this after driving my SUV around for a few miles. Today, they re did the front brake job and issue was resolved. I would recommend this shop. hope this helps!

I fully recommend Performance Automotive & Detail for both their friendliness, helpfulness and patience, as well as their technical skills in diagnosing and carrying out appropriate repairs to my vehicle. If you call in and they tell you they're able to take a look at your car, CHOOSE THESE GUYS! It's a very rare mix of impeccable customer service as well as care and attention to your vehicle which is hard to find anywhere else. I went to Jason (the owner and the only one who answers the phones) at Performance Auto because my car was allowing water to get in and sit, causing a mold problem. It turns out my car had multiple clogged drains in multiple different areas, and they ended up working on my car a few times over the last few months. They were persistent in isolating the cause of the issue, and they ended up disassembling the cowling as well as removing the interior carpet to isolate the issues. This is a testament to their continuing customer service, and it's obvious Jason cares about his client's long-term satisfaction. Even though my car was a rusty econobox from the late 90s, the techs didn't cut any corners and kept digging (literally) until all the drains were cleared. Of course, Jason is very friendly and most importantly has a lot of patience, willing to explain the issue in detail without making you feel like you need to rush off the phone. This is despite knowing that demand for auto work is at an all-time high and every minute of his time is at a premium. Lastly, the price for work here is VERY fair. I'm not sure if they charge a strict per-labour-hour or if they are more flexible in their rates (I'm leaning towards the latter), but the amount I ended up paying felt totally reasonable based on the amount of time they had my car and the work involved (disassembling hard-to-reach cowling, removing cold-welded rusty windshield wiper arms, tearing out carpeting, etc). I could tell Jason is focused on generating repeat customers, and his attitude + pricing reflects this completely. Conclusion: If you can get an appointment here, choose them! Great rates (not sure you'll find anyone who can undercut them), very good customer service and a lot of attention and care

Jason and people at Performance Auto are great professionals as well as great people. They do top notch job, and they are trustworthy and compassionate human beings. They not only have fixed my car problems, they have also brightened my day and warmed my heart. My backup camera stopped working after an annual maintenance at the Mercedes dealership in Seattle. The service rep refuse to check the setup and told me it couldn’t be related to the maintenance. He quoted me 270 for diagnosing and wouldn’t give me a price for replacing the camera or tell me how long it might take. Disappointed, I went to Jason at Performance Auto. I got an appointment quickly, greeted by Jason warmly, and a few minutes later after he took my key, he walked in with a big smile, “You are all set.” He was dangling the key in his hand. I couldn’t believe it. He told me it was a setup issue. During the maintenance, the dealership guy must have reset the vehicle but didn’t setup my backup camera. He didn’t charge me ANYTHING! I felt I have received a wonderful holiday gift from him.

I came here looking for an interior-only detailing package for an older Mercedes, which needed a little TLC on its leather seats and upholstery. These guys do beautiful work.. they cleaned and conditioned every leather surface, from the seats to the door panels to the freaking grip on the shifter! The car feels like it just drove off the lot in 2002. The team was super knowledgeable, very professional, and got me scheduled quickly and easily. They also throw in a complimentary wash and tire polish even with just the interior detail package which is a nice perk. Overall, great value for the quality of work. I will most certainly be back!

I take my car here regularly for oil changes because of the friendly service and the reasonable price. I also had my car detailed here after my cat got sick on the backseat from taking him to the vet. They did a fantastic job and cleaned the whole interior of the car for a great price.

I didn’t feel pressured, but I was provided options on how to handle my rear differential issues. I am going back with my 4Runner and am recommending that my family come here, too.

I can completely recommend Thai to anyone, VW quoted me 4k for a front differential replacement which I didn’t trust. Came here to get it checked and they found a loose oil valve, cost me 150$ and my car stopped leaking and nothing was wrong with the front differential.Super friendly and helpful as well. They also did a full clutch, and flywheel upgrade for me. Gave me the best price out of any mechanic in the area by far, and then did a perfect job. It has been installed for 2 years without a single issue. Best mechanic in the area.

I brought in a 4th gen 4Runner that was in rough shape. Clear coat totally gone, interior with a bunch of stains, etc. Thai did a thorough inspection and was very honest about the limitations of what could be done. He did everything he could to restore the paint and turned a totally dull paint job into a quasi shine, which I thought was impossible. So pleased. The interior work was incredible too. All stains gone and they got out a smell that had been in there since I bought it. They have an ozone machine they can use to really get the interior cleaned up. TL;DR - Highly recommend these guys for interior/exterior details jobs. They are experts, are honest, and charge fair prices for their exceptional work. I'll be bringing all my vehicles here for detail work and may have to come back to try out their maintenance services soon as well.

I had a really positive experience at this auto repair shop and wanted to share it. I brought my car in for brake and rotor work, and when a noise came back afterward, the shop was incredibly responsive and took care of it right away. They re-checked everything, clearly explained what was going on, and honored the warranty without hesitation, even replacing parts at no cost to make sure things were done right. What stood out to me most was the transparency and integrity throughout the process. The staff genuinely wanted to fix the issue, not just get it out the door. Pricing was very fair, communication was clear, and I always felt my car was in honest hands. It’s rare to find a shop that’s this dedicated to doing right by their customers. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for trustworthy, professional service!!
