My windshield was replaced by Permian Glass on September 12, 2019. My experience started poorly after I dropped off my vehicle. I received a call at work explaining that because I gave them wrong information about my windshield, if I wanted to get my windshield replaced that day they would have to get a more expensive windshield. If not, I would have to wait two weeks for a special order. I was frustrated because after already taking time to drop off the vehicle and be inconvenienced, what alternative did I really have – of course I paid them more for the windshield. I think they should look at the vehicle before you leave the lot if they are going to ask for more than what was quoted. My rear-view mirror fell completely off my windshield exactly one month after my new windshield was put on by Permian Glass (October 13th). You could see where the adhesive came off. I subsequently called to ask them if they could put it back on and they first asked me “If I have the receipt.” I found that to be rather off-putting and thought surely they could look me up. After all, who keeps a receipt for something like that? I did not want to return to Permian Glass at all at this point, but after my car dealership said they could not fix it I did go to get it repaired. I came in at 12:45 on Wednesday October 30th to Permian Glass in Odessa. I waited for a technician to return from lunch. They took my car back. The technician then came into the shop and stated, “You need a new windshield.”. I was shocked. I said, “This is a brand new windshield.” He stated again, “You need a new windshield because the piece with your mirror comes attached to the windshield.” I said it is a new windshield you just installed it, that can’t be possible, can you fix my mirror you did not put it on right. He said, “I didn’t install it personally but I can tell you you need a new windshield.” The lady at the front desk then took my number and stated a supervisor was not there but would call me the following day. No one has called. Thankfully, I took my vehicle to another auto repair shop, which charged me $25 including tax to fix my rear-view mirror. They did not ask me to buy a new windshield (there was NO damage on my windshield, it is one month old, the mirror just needed glue). I am out of a lot of time and extra money thanks to the work and poor customer service from Permian Glass.

I had to wait to get my gravel busted windshield replaced. When I could get it replaced, I found Permian Glass, and they were easy to deal with from scheduling an appointment to giving me information to doing the job. They were done in less than an hour also with the job. (Btw, see about having "glass buyback" put on your auto policy!)

We contracted this company to replace a glass for one of our customers. They said it would take a month.. We waited,then the company told us it would take another month. We waited. After getting the window back the edges are not smoothed out and the lock isn't even glues all the way on the edge of the glass an don't lock. The color of the glass is different than the glass that's in the window. They lied an said we ok'd it. "Which we did not" Steer clear of this company unless you want to get ripped off. We asked for a refund so we could get the glass redone at another shop and they called us liars an hung up. I would put picture of there work on here but that's alittle petty. 170.00 down the drain an got to pay double that to get the work corrected now. Thanks alot Permian Glass for sticking it to your customers! Next is the BBB and TX AG for complaints.

Worst company I’ve dealt with in. Very long time. If I could give 0 stars I would. They didn’t show up when they said they would. They lied about showing up. Multiple times they said they came to our house and waited. They lied. We were in the house and no one came, knocked, or called. Then they said couldn’t work with us because they were too busy.

Nightmare! I had to use this company because City of Odessa workers damaged my car window and they have a contract with this place...They came out to my work location last Friday to replace the rear quarter window in my car. I didn't initially see how bad of a job he did because the trim was covered with blue tape...but, he left the inside covered with glass shards...then yesterday, I removed the tape to find the window was installed crooked...the curves did not line up, so to accommodate for the gaps, he filled them with black caulk...the trim stuck out about 1/8" beyond the door trim and several pieces of weather stripping were just scuffed up and missing in places....I Called Permian Glass first thing this morning and the same technician was sent out....He told me that he did a "perfect job"....Really??? So, I called Permian Glass again and they told me to bring my car in at 1pm to let them see the damage....They took my car to the back...supposedly to look at the damage and to vacuum the glass shards (I had already cleaned them). Sylvia (apparently the owners son's wife - not positive) was extremely rude...She told me that they removed my window and could not reuse it because it was defective....She refused to take accountability for the screw up her technician did and tried to blame it on the window...She told me they can't get another window for several days and then they could try to reschedule installing it....In the meantime, they left me with a piece of plastic blowing in the wind to cover the hole. I am not going back to them....The city gave me a check and Glass Doctor will fix their screw up tomorrow....If I could give this business negative stars I would because that is absolutely no way to treat customers! Next review is going to be on BBB page, then social media! Learn some customer service skills!

Called on a Monday to custom order some glass. Lady said to give them two weeks to get it from their manufacturer, maybe more if busy. 3 days later, they called to say it was already there. Wow, that was quick. Lady in office was very nice, as was the guy who carried it out to my car for me. Amount I paid for the custom size order seemed pretty good, too. I will be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I showed up on a whim because the other guy who replaced my windshield damaged my mirror. They installed my mirror on the spot at no charge and scheduled to have my windshield replaced! Excellent customer service in my opinion! This is a family business with a lot of history in the area. He has a lot of cool pictures Inside the shop.

I’ve had several oversized bathroom mirrors cut to size by Permian Glass over the past few months and have never been disappointed. Every visit has been quick, easy, and professional. On one occasion, we had a minor misunderstanding regarding a mirror size. While I was explaining the situation to the counter staff, Shannon (who I believe is the owner) stepped in. After I briefly explained the issue, he immediately said, “I’ll take care of this and get it back to you today.” No questions, no hassle, just great customer service. As promised, I had my mirror back the same day. That kind of service is hard to find. The quality of their work is excellent, and everyone there is just great to deal with. I won’t do business anywhere else other than Permian Glass. Highly recommend!
