My Hyundai kona 2019 was wrecked on April 23,2024. My husband called Pfeifer Auro Services and they didn't hesitate to get my car. Matthew the tow truck driver was very nice and made me feel at ease about my car! Victoria in the oddice was working very hard to get the insurance adjuster out to look at my. She told me they would do everything in their power to fix my car! She was so nice to me! My car was damaged beyond repair from what the adjuster said after a month of my car sitting in the shop! I was so upset how my insurance company took care of me! I would highly recommend Pfeifer Auto Services!

Great people! Nick, Michelle, and Jared we very kind and helpful. I am so thankful that we found them. They made the process of a bad situation so easy. My car was riding really rough, and I could have swore it was gonna be an arm and a leg. But to my pleasant surprise, it was a great experience. They not only fixed the problems but also gave me pointers for things to look out for. Great team! I am happy to recommend to anyone who wants only great service and friendly people to help them. I cannot say enough great things about them! 5 Stars! Keep up the great work!!

Had my car towed here because the AAA tech who came to get it, said I needed an alternator. One day later I still hadn't heard from anyone. When I called, I was told by Ken, that no one there knew about the car! I got a call back two hours later that it wasn't the alternator after all...I needed a new battery and my rear break was locked. $90 diagnostic fee, $1100 to fix the breaks and $200 for a battery...and a lot of missed information between the tow truck tech and the shop...I took my car back and will not recommend this repair shop.

Pfeifer has managed maintenance for my vehicles for a long time. Pfeifer recently went above and beyond diagnosing issues w my 2010 Honda CRV, they ensured I was in the know every step of the way & helped me determine how best to handle the issues. Their Srvc Mgr, Ken, is incredibly easy to work with, honest & professional; Victoria is excellent managing everyone who calls or walks in the door. And, Dennis, the owner, is very knowledgeable & always fair. I cannot say enough about this business & highly recommend Pfeifer Auto!

Had a flat tire with no spare and needed a tow. The dispatcher, Megan and the driver who came out to pick me up and tow, Chris Leipold, were fantastic. They both gave me great advice to get my car back on the road ASAP. Wish I could give an even higher rating than 5/5 stars. This place and that driver deserve an "above and beyond" award on top of 5/5 stars.

Tow truck driver was taking a car out of the parking lot at our work without the owner present and I asked what he was doing and he was unbelievably rude, told me to mind my own business and get back in my shop and leave him alone. Totally uncalled for and could have been explained in a respectful way.

They towed my SUV back to their shop after an accident. Jessica made the process easy and hassle free. She communicated so well with me throughout the entire process even assisting in parts of my insurance claim. They had the adjuster there within a day or two and had my car out of the shop within two weeks. When I got it back, you could not even tell anything had happened. After a couple days, I noticed my wipers weren’t working and messaged Jessica. She had me drop it off that same day and it was fixed in a couple of hours at no charge. Everyone there was always super nice and helpful! Overall, great experience.

Great service, great pricing. I called to have my car towed and taken to their shop to replace a clutch. They came in at same price as other quotes and took time out of their busy days to get the job done. Not an easy task as its an older jeep and took quite a bit to get bolts undone etc. Took their time (still only without vehicle two days), did it right, not one busted bolt, and runs great. I cannot thank them enough. Bobby always called back or took time for my call. Never once came at me with upsells to fix all the other stuff that is wrong with my ancient jeep. Thank you!!

We were on our way on a family weekend trip when my husbands motor on his truck blew a hour and half from home. Since my hubby's truck wasn't on our towing package for some strange reason. I called this company that helped me months ago to tow my car. Since I had fast and great service I called again. Jessica in towing worked with me, called the owner and called towing companys in the area we broke down in to get them to help us. After she found a toll company in Sarasota, she called twice to confirm that they were actually able to help us and they were able to get our truck home. I recommend this tow company to anybody, Jessica did not have to go out of her, but did. I will always use this company when I need this type of service.

Pfeiffer auto once again did an excellent job with maintenance on my Jeep. This trip was a big one, brakes, tires, and some other fine tuning. Art is especially helpful, very communicative, very honest…(huge deal to a female who knows nothing about cars). He kept in touch with me every step of the way and even called me after I picked my car up to check in on things. Art went above and beyond and found me some discounts on tire bundles which ended up saving me a few hundred dollars. I will continue going back to Pfeiffer auto and I appreciate all their help and great work on my vehicle!

I just had some work done at Pfeifer. I'd taken it in to get the alternator replaced (it was under warranty; no charge to replace). A couple of other problems were noticed by Art, the head mechanic; some small leaks that could lead to major problems if they became worse. It took a bit longer to get the car back...but boy was that extra time worth it. The car is now perfect - inside and out (thanks for the incredible job cleaning the car). It was also nice to meet Jessica and Victoria, the friendly and understanding office staff. Art, your attention to my car is much appreciated. If any of my friends need a car repair, you, and Pfeifer, will be at the top of the list. Thanks, all!

Charge $250 just to look at the car without performing any work. Even the Chevy dealer only charged $200 for a full diagnostic, other local shops said it would be around $80. Do not let the AAA driver take your car here!!

At SR580 and US19, one of these tow trucks was cat calling a woman next to them (01/22/26, bigger guy in camo with a short beard and short hair) while beating on the side of their truck and yelling so loud that their voice was nearly cracking. Visibly made the woman uncomfortable. One of the most unprofessional things i've seen done in a company vehicle. Working in local EMS, it makes me want to never recommend this company as a tow to the accidents we respond to nearly daily in the area.

Nick came to my home to jump start the battery in my car. Unfortunately it did not hold a charge and needed to be replaced the next morning. Nick replaced the battery and made sure everything was running fine with the charging system etc. Very courteous and a gentleman. I have always had great service from Pfeifer over the years. They hire good people!

My son was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on August 12 2025 and they were the company that towed his bike . I lost the sheet the troopers gave me with the company name , we were busy planning a funeral so a week went by before I was able to get the number and call for the bike .They found out he had no insurance and told me the owner was a nice guy and would probably discount the storage and tow which was a relief at such a bad time . When I got there and filled out the paperwork to see it and was given the price of a tow back to my house I was then taken to the Bike . From The moment I arrived i was treated with compassion and understanding . The owner showed me the bike and explained what he could see on the bike as I was standing there in tears and totally crushed . I was then told that he was going to dispatch 2 men with the bike to my home and not charge me for anything at all . There are good ,and kind people in this world and Pfeifers is one of them . I was so grateful , and the tow guys refused a tip .I'm just sorry it took so long to write this . Thank you for all you did .

Disappointing and awful! Made appt 5 days prior. Left car at 8:30 am for service. 3:30 pm....no communication all day. Called..."doing diagnostics now, call you back in 30 minutes". No call. I called 10 minutes before closing because no communication. "We weren't able to get to your vehicle today, really busy. We should finish it tomorrow." Sorry, made special arrangements with work schedule etc to have it done and need the vehicle back today. "oh sorry....just couldn't get to it today". Asked them to leave vehicle up front unlocked with the key under the driver's seat. Got to shop.....looked under the driver's seat....key not there. For the next 10 minutes looked everywhere in the car for the key...not there. Called after hours service asking "where is the key?" They called back...."oh, the key is on the back tire, driver's side. Sorry for the miscommunication" Most unprofessional auto care experience I have ever had. Poor communication and lack of respect for customer's time. Great experience last year....terrible this year. Not going back and no more referrals.

I was told 60-90 minutes for a tow. Ken showed up in 15 minutes and pulled off a challenging tow with no problems. I would definitely use them, again. But, I hope I don’t have to 😃
