I bought a truck from Pat and the valve seals need to be replaced. He must of added oil stabilizer to limit the amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust, just long enough so i wouldn't notice. Sure enough, 2 days later it startinh smoking. I call him and ask him if he knew about it and he says, "i sold it as is and it is your truck now." This shows his true character. If you think i am making this up, i assure you all of it is true.

Honest service small town atmosphere. Got a welcome pack when we moved to Dunedin with gift certificate for a "free" oil change and "inspection". I was very skeptical. Pleasently surprised, my Jeep got a clean bill of health, the technician even fixed my squeaking belt. Honest and professional and I would recommend to anyone.

We have been going to Pat's Auto for 20 years. He crew are local personnel and easy to get along with and it's convenient location too. He would always give you an estimate before working on your vehicle. If anything else needs to be replace or something else is not working correct, he would notify you. He also give you a call when your vehicle is ready for pickip.

Went there today to get several things done to my car. I needed brakes, oil change, light bulb replacement, wheel alignment and new windshield wiper blades. I told him I had a free oil change certificate which I received in the mail but needed to find it. He could verify I never used it as he had record of service done there previously. Only my husbands car was been there, I went under recommendation and wanted to help a small business rather than my Ford dealership. Long story short, he wouldn’t honor the oil change since I had moved one town over. I said I’m still a customer there so I’m not sure why which town I live in matters!? I said OK forget the oil change, how much will the brakes be? I was quoted $400 and the Ford dealership was 245.99 so I decided to leave without getting any work done.

BEWARE stay away from this place. They took full advantage of my young adult daughter!!!! These people refer to a transmission service to be a part of wind shield wipers and that’s why that service wasn’t completed the owner charged $850 for A window regulator and removed a nail from 1 tire and what so sad is he feels justifiable with the service. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!!

Pat's! His place has been an institution in Dunedin for YEARS. In the late afternoon, an hour before closing, I noticed a piece of metal with its corner imbedded in the tread of my tire. I was able to drive to Pat's Auto, he stopped what he was doing and fixed the tire right away. Thank you, Pat! I fully recommend.

Pat has always been great to me and my family for years. I love his honesty and professionalism and trust him to service my vehicles for the right price. He has taken over other mechanics repairs where I was fearful about the price due to the fear mongering of other shops and surprised me with the right repair that last and is much lower than anticipated. If you’re looking for a honest mechanic who’s incredible with all kinds of vehicles, and does a better job than most larger dealerships, I totally recommend Pat’s garage in Dunedin, FL. My first time working with Pat and his establishment was an incredible experience. He got my same custom tires in like a day vs. ordering them online and waiting a week for them to deliver, He also fixed my clutch for my truck and did it super fast. Last dealership I brought my Truck to, said I needed new brakes about a year ago and when Pat checked them, he said they were fine, my ‘trusted dealership’ was trying to pull a fast one on me, but Pat’s honesty saved me.

Pat got my vehicle I had towed to the shop overnight. I explained over the phone the issue and he got back to me with issue he found. Only needed new battery.
