Pilgrim Auto has been our go-to for years because of their quick service, great expertise, excellent communication and reasonable prices. When I was pregnant they’d offer to drive me home as opposed to wait, and whenever I call because I need something quickly they’re extremely accommodating. Mike, Steve and the owner, Marty, are all wonderful! Thank you for being our life-savers again and again!

I guess I just had a very bad experience. I read the reviews - not bad - and then called and talked to Marty before I came in. He told me everything I wanted to hear, but was not at the shop when I got there - no big deal. His guys quoted me for a "broken cooling fan" among other things that I did not think were really wrong. I asked them about the fan specifically and they told me two of the blades were broken - I wanted to be very clear on that. They said the cooling fan urgently needed to be fixed. When I said no for now, maybe I'll come back the next week - I was suspicious about the $700 quote - the guy up front got upset and quoted me $100 for inspecting it - fine. Then he asked me if he could order the parts for the job. When I told him not to order the parts because I would not be coming back, he got even more upset and would not let me pay the $100 with a credit card - he demanded cash. This is where things took a turn and I realized that these guys have a problem with honesty. While I was there, I asked several people if they come there often to see how the service was. Two people were first-timers. The third guy goes "hell no. Only when my wife has a flat and it's an easy job that can't wait." I had to borrow $100 from this man in the parking lot to pay the guys at Pilgrim because they refused to let me use a card because they knew I would find out their inspection was complete bs. The guy was very kind and gave me his address and I paid him back. He pointed me to Chan Inc. - Warren and Sheldon Mobil Auto, where they showed me both of the fans on my car in perfect condition. They told me they frequently take cars from Ann Arbor road shops and this situation is nothing new for them.

These guys are great! Open 7 days a week which is really convenient for those of us still going to work. They treat you fairly, communicate quickly and often, and complete work very fast with great quality. Compared to the service I've gotten at the local major dealer right down the street, despite the fact they are much smaller, Pilgrim is much better at customer service and treating you with respect.

I came in on Sunday 3/31/19 around 12:00pm because I broke my windshield wiper. Steve, who was working behind the desk immediately took care of me and I was out the door in about 10 minutes after he installed the new blades. Thank you so much for your service. I've been going to Pilgrim for a while now and every time I drop my car off, they drive you home (I'm sure there is a limit -- I Iive close by) they get it done in a short time, call with estimates before doing anything, very professional and courteous. Thank you Mike and Marty.

Very quick and amazing service. I was so fortunate that Pilgrim Auto was open, I got a nail in my tire over Labor Day weekend.. Thought I was going to have to go 3 days without a vehicle but they were fortunately open! Such fast service as well, I was there probably no more than 25 minutes. I hope I don't have any car problems in the near future but if I do... I know where to go!

I live in the town of Plymouth went to a few other auto tire places they tried to charge me about 35-40 just to replace a tire that I already had purchased. My last stop on the way home was Pilgrim Auto I pulled in the man at the counter told me 25 bucks and he'll take me right now 1 2 3 no problems. I would highly recommend going here after the experience that I had for about 2 hours.

I've been living in this community for some time now, the auto shops down this road are all normally excellent to work with, especially the Auto lab. Unfortunately it was a terrible experience at this Firestone station. On Sunday I purchased a used tire just to keep me in the safe zone until my tire center opened up on Tuesday. The gentleman assured me that they check all of their used tires and they would not sell a defective used tire. I paid for the tire and had it installed. Unfortunately when I attempted to drive on the tire that evening the air pressure was gone. I was not able to drive on the tire as I had planned for the holiday weekend because I didn't want to take any chances. The tire kept losing pressure when I would fill it up. I called the auto center that week and I asked if I could bring the tire back in and be refunded since it was not usable..?? I was told I had to wait until Sunday to speak to the gentleman who wrote me up because he was a manager. On Sunday I called to speak with the gentleman who wrote me up and told him the situation, he became angry and determined he did not want to speak with me anymore. I asked if I could speak to the boss or the owner and I was told No. I took the tire back to them and told them to have a nice day. I made sure to take pictures to ensure I would have proof that I returned the tire. The gentleman seemed to think I was taking the pictures in order to get him fired..."that's what he stated to me". I reconfirmed the pictures are just proof that I returned the tire. I hope the owner or the gentleman get in touch with me to confirm they have refunded my money, otherwise I will not be able to use their services again and I will have to recommend to anyone who asks me not to use their Services as well. "Scary Experience".

These guys have gone above and beyond for me. Every. Single. Time. My old Jeep was not taken care of prior to my owning it and it's been a struggle at times to keep her road ready. Multiple other shops have done me wrong when handling me and my Jeep, not Pilgrims. They're quick, respectful at truly cost effective. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Thanks guys!!! For all you do for me and my car!!!

Phenomenal service, attention to detail, and over all customer care. I had an issue with my brakes not work, and as a guy that must fix everything myself, I refused to take it into a shop. I worked on my car for a few months before finally giving in and calling several places around local Plymouth. Marty answered the phone, was very polite and helpful with my questions, reassuring me every step of the way. When I was finally able to drop my car off, Mike helped me by making sure I was able to get in and out without hesitation. When I spoke with Mike again later on that day, he let me know what was wrong and gave a rough estimate of what it was going to be. I came in the next day worried it was going to be higher than the previous estimate because of all the work needed. It was right in line with what he quoted me and had everything set up to make it a fast process. If I can suggest going anywhere to get your work done, please put your mind at ease and take it to Pilgrim auto.

*CONSUMER BEWARE* Let me share my terrible experience with you. What started out as a simple flat tire turned into so much more. On Memorial Day while riding in a parade I had a flat tire, but the vehicle was still drivable. The next day (Tuesday - May 30, 2023) I took my vehicle to Pilgrim Automotive. They advised I would need a new tire, and that one would need to be ordered. Gave them $300 for a deposit for 2 new tires. The new tires came in late on Wednesday afternoon, and they stated the work would be completed on Thursday and also that the wheel needed to be repaired which would cost an additional $200. I agreed to all this via telephone. Thursday the work was completed, paid the remaining balance of $531.40 and drove home. Friday morning just as I left my driveway the computer came on indicating ALL 4 tires were off on air pressure. Drove back directly to Pilgrim and Mike inflated all tires to proper pressure. After the vehicle seemed “ok”. Drove the car back home and didn’t use it again until Sunday (June 4th). Again as I pulled out of the driveway the computer came back on stating “low air pressure in right rear tire”. Immediately called Pilgrim at 2:30PM to enquirer if they had a tow service. Or if they would pay for a tow back to the shop. Marty said “we just fix ‘‘em we don’t drive ‘em” he then mentioned that the wheel was “weak”. This was never mentioned previously in any conversation. Marty and I then discussed repairs and Marty identified himself as the shop owner. And then became irrational and said “don’t insinuate we didn’t do the repairs right, f@$k you!” And hung up. I called back immediately and Marty answered the phone and said “you again, f@$k you” and hung up before I was able to speak. I was appalled to be spoken to in that manner. Mind you I just spent over $800 at this establishment. The fact that the owner is speaking to paying customers in this manner is concerning and unacceptable. After this happened I had to take the vehicle into Belle Tire. The technician there fixed the issue and stated the work from Pilgrim was sloppy. In the future my business will go to Belle Tire where they have reliable work and much better customer service. I didn’t deserve to be spoke to in that manner.

I want to thank the team at Pilgrim Auto. I was traveling and visiting family in Michigan and ready to return to Tennessee when I found a screw in my tire on a Saturday morning. I went to Belle Tire first, (Don't bother), they wouldn't offer any help, and told me it would be a few days to get a tire. The owner at Pilgrim greeted me, I explained my issue and he quickly told me he could help. He found a tire that would match my existing ones, personally took off my old tire, had his team replace it and put it on. I was out of there within 30 minutes. If you want personal care from people that KNOW their business, use Pilgrim.

Marty provides an amazing honest , service and never over prices the public for car service! This is truly an honest family owned business, which I highly recommend. I went there on a last minute whim , with a nail in my tire on a Sunday, when everyone else was closed. They were extremely busy and managed to fit me in! This was not the first time that I have used them for car service, but every time I go there, I get service with a smile! You will not find a more honest and friendly car repair shop around ! Marty and his team provide exceptional and HONEST service.

Pilgrim used to be my go to... but I was pretty disappointed when I went for my rear struts and brake pads and Steven charged me $570 dollars... they said it would be $1050 for all 4 and that I had the wrong battery in my car and that they'd replace is for another $500... I bought my car from a certified dealer and never had a battery problem. Down the street they do all 4 struts for $600. Sad to see this place changed.

Marty went above and beyond finding me the best price for a relatively obscure tire size that I needed. He found the tires, showed me the savings I was getting, and their team had them installed immediately. Great service!!

Marty and his crew were nothing less than exceptional. I first took my vehicle there when I moved here from Nashville, Tn in the fall of 2019 to be winterized. having just retired from the car business myself, (25 yrs), I was very pleased to find an honest and trustful repair shop close to home. On Saturday, I went out to start my car...wouldn't start. Since I was going to have to start traveling back and forth to the VA Medical Center in Ann Arbor on Monday, 5 days a week for cancer treatments, I was a bit panicky. Called Pilgrim, explained my dilemma, Marty said to bring it in right away. I was able to get it started and to the shop. Thank goodness they are open on Sunday. They got the problem fixed, checked it out thoroughly and I picked it up Sunday. I highly recommend Pilgrim Automotive for anyone who needs auto repair/service. Thank yo Marty.

I’ve used these guys for tires on several cars without issue. I brought them my truck with aftermarket, oversized tires to have 2 replaced with new which I provided. Apparently, they were unable to use their mounting machine and opted to mount them manually with pry bars. They severely gouged the both rims around the bead area. When I pointed it out, The manager wouldn’t even go outside to look at it. “Too busy”…. I was the only customer there. He said it took his guys 2 hours so I guess he already knew about it. I didn’t ask for compensation and they didn’t offer. I won’t be back again. It cost me $100. for the installation but they damaged $600. worth of rim. They also lost 2 of the 6 screws for securing the center caps. I wish they’d just said they couldn’t do it.

Marty and Mike took great care of our BMW 650i Gran Touring Sedan....we bought 4 new run flat Bridgestone 245/40R19...Pilgrim straightened all four wheels which had been severely bent and aligned all 4 wheels....the car had a vibration since we bought it and now it drives smooth as silk! They pulled it all together seamlessly and in just a couple of days and we couldn't be happier!

Amazing HONEST service!!! After being lied to from Belle Tire, Pilgrim auto found the real issue and fixed it at a great price. A big shout out to Marty and Terry Y. !!! I highly recommend Pilgrim Auto /10⭐s.. update with a picture of the way good struts vs. bag ones. So far I've had my wheel bearings on the front , struts, oil changes and now I'm getting a rear end drive shaft replacement. My car is at 77k and this is when allot of things go bad on vehicles. Good news is I'll never have to have those jobs done again. I bet I'll get 300k out of this equinox LTZ... because Pilgrim Auto repairs have top of the line mechanics to get me back on the road. I'm always amazed at the low prices compared to several other shops. Go try them out when you have a repair need. You'll be happy. A big Shout out to Steve, Carson, Marty and Terry! 😎🤩🫡
