Went through the five stages of grief trying to get my car fixed. At one point it sat for two weeks without anyone even looking at it because they miscommunicated with my warranty company. What should have taken about 4 weeks ended up taking over 3 months. Was quoted half the price I ended up paying. I’m still unclear as to what was done on my car and why it was done. Service staff was friendly, but not very helpful in the grand scheme. Oh, and I was told they didn’t have a car they could loan me, because they didn’t have any available….none….over the course of THREE MONTHS. As a young female customer, I felt like I was an after thought, not like any kind of priority, and frankly I feel like they took advantage of my inexperience with cars.

Collision Center is terrible. I dropped my truck off 26 business days ago, with an estimate that said it would take 16 days to repair, and I still don't have the truck. Every time I email or call, a different person tells me a different story, so I honestly don't know what they are doing to it. I was promised it would be ready this week; when I called just now, the woman told me the exact same thing they told me last week. No one will tell me exactly what's being done and how long it will take. When I told her I was promised it would be finished this week, she was very curt and said "We understand". Apparently they don't. I wish I had explored other options.

Good luck if you need service after buying a new vehicle. I had numerous warranty related problems and none of them were resolved easily. 4 trips for the same problem, just for them to tell me they cant "find" the issue. I had to diagnose the vehichle myself and tell them what it was before they "found" it. The part was not available like most things which is fine, but I was told 2 different times that they would call me when the part arrived and that it was "no need" to call them and that they would let me know. After 5 months I called to check and they had no record of the issue. My most recent issue, I was told I was out of warranty and it would be 2 weeks to even look at it. I contacted another dealer and they had it looked at the next day and everything covered under warranty. They only care about numbers and not the customers. I will not spend another penny at Pinkerton and will take my business elsewhere.

Let me first say their sales team. Awesome. I loved my experience buying my car from them 3 years ago. But do NOT go to them for service. I only use them for my inspection because it's free and I guess that wasn't ok for them. They called me and said I needed new wiper blades or I would fail inspection. My husband and I had just checked my lights and wiper blades before going to my appointment. They were fine. But I didn't have a way to argue because I have a set schedule that runs the same time as their hours and I live over 30mins away so I just said go ahead and change them. $50 for mediocre wiper blades so I could pass inspection when mine were FINE. Hadn't been on my car more than 6 months. Not worth their "free" inspection. I will not be going back and I'll pay for an inspection from here on out somewhere I can trust the technicians.

On the other hand I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of product Chevrolet and General Motors are producing for the automobile buyers. It's shameful and sad how GM has allowed their quality to fall so low. Profit over pride

We made an appointment for service at this location, and received a confirmation a day prior for the date and time. When we arrived, the person at the desk said that they did not have us on the schedule, and if we wanted to be fit in we would have to wait until the end of the day, which meant hours of waiting, despite a clear schedule and confirmation documented and sent to us. We've been here a couple of times. The first the truck smelled like smoke after the appointment, and this time they failed on the most basic level. I would not recommend them for your service needs.

I was charged $200 for a diagnosis of an exhaust system problem that ended up being a damaged air filter. The tech was about to charge me almost $200 more to do a fuel and smoke test due to concern for contaminated fuel. The only reason this didn’t happen is because I called and voiced my concerns about the logic of the recommended testing based on what he thought might be wrong. I know VERY little about cars and could see that the problem, fuel system that was running too rich, was not the right answer. The service manager did finally somewhat fix the problem by identifying the issue and taking care of it but I was still charged over $200 for something that should’ve been extremely simple. I’m sure if simple checklists were followed it would’ve been figured out very quickly. Your technician is obviously poorly trained and I should not have had to pay extra for him to learn his job! Your quote to repair of my brakes was also extremely suspect as $1300 was more than double what I paid to get the exact same work done at a reputable shop. Either this is due to TERRIBLE overhead or more likely a tech that takes way more time than is needed to fix a problem. Overcharging for work is just not acceptable!!

I’ve taken my suburban to this repair shop for several years because I bought an extended warranty through the dealership. Even though I suspected I have been overcharged in the past, I’ve continued to bring my vehicle there just because you don’t know who you can trust and I don’t know anything about vehicles. This week, I called for an appointment and I brought my car in to tell them that I needed a new thermostat. A friend of mine told me that it was a very simple fix, and that I could probably do it myself. So I took it in thinking that I could get it repaired and replaced for a decent price; because I can’t replace a thermostat. They charged me $155 to tell me I needed a new thermostat and the estimate to replace it was $839!!!!!! Obviously shocked, I took it to another shop and they replaced it for $220 total. Absolutely insane what they planned to charge me. They also told me I needed new brakes and rotors, which they replaced not that long ago. Oddly enough, it passed inspection with no concerns at Pinkerton just last month. I’ll not return here again and will keep my $600 savings in my checking account. You’re welcome and Merry Christmas!

Consider going elsewhere if you have anything they need to diagnose. 2 times I took a truck in for diagnosis and repair and both times I left with the issue not repaired, a very large bill, and they "repairs" made were incorrect and cost even more damage. Great for oil changes, that's about it.
