Absolutely top-notch service. I live out of town and I asked a seller to take the vehicle I was interested in buying to Plain Bros to get an inspection. The seller showed up late and missed the appointment window. Danielle and her team went so far above and beyond to help me get this car checked out and squeeze me in. They gave me really solid information and advice to help me make a decision on the car. I'm so appreciative. I wish they were my local mechanic. I'd trust them with any of my cars. This is the BEST repair shop I've ever gotten work done on a car. Danielle is extremely friendly and ALWAYS looks out for the best way to keep your car running without having to spend big bucks. Wow. These folks are amazing. Danielle and the techs are kind and professional. I'm not from Cleveland and had taken my car to another repair shop up the road from this one. They actually made my car's issues worse. However I found Plain Brothers and within minutes of bringing my car in, they were able to diagnose the issue and fix it! Amazing place and great service! And extremely cost effective. If you live in Cleveland or travel here, Plain Brothers is the best auto repair shop here! Thank you for your help Danielle and techs.

The absolute best general auto repair shop. Unassuming little place. I'm on my 3rd car or van that I have taken there. I have always had a positive experience. Great work for a fair price. Call Danielle, she handles all of the appointments. 100% honest. They have been able to work with my schedule, and we're nice enough to check out the car that I have before I bought it, no charge. I can't say enough good things about them!!!

This place is now the only shop I trust with all of my family’s vehicles. They have consistently fixed what I needed, told me if I didn’t need something, surprised me with how affordable their work is, and otherwise gone above and beyond to take care of me. They are the kind of good-hearted shop that I thought I had lost moving to a big city from small town KY. My single and only qualm is that it would seem the secret is out about them and they are always busy helping other folks out as well. That said they are very much worth the wait and deserve your business!

I was really nervous about finding a new mechanic after moving here from out of state, but Plain Brothers was amazing: Danielle was so kind and accommodating, and they did not overcharge or try to pressure me into any additional services. My car was thoroughly diagnosed and back to me within the day! Highly recommend if you’re away from home and looking for someone trustworthy and kind to replace your at-home mechanic. Didn’t have to call my dad once (that’s saying something). I am so happy and will be back again when it’s time.

Plain Brothers helped me with my E-check, entirely free. I had to park a little ways down, but the very nice lady, chipper and helpful, drove my car through amd gor my e-check done right away. The seating arrangements were basic, but a thoughtful seat cushion had been prepared. Honestly this felt like a great local experience I could proudly recommend to anyone. Friendly, fast, zero pretense. It's likely helpful I went early, about half-past nine on a Thursday. Thanks Plain Brothers! Keep being awesome!

Granted, I did not have an appointment so they took longer to service my vehicle and it was the hottest week of the summer. They had tot take everything apart to flush with stop leak. I had to wait a week, no vehicle for a whole week is major. Did not tell me my radiator reservoir needed to be replaced and I assume when they put everything back together, they sliced a part that connects thee motor to my coolant tank so I have a river stream of coolant leaking out Another mechanic had to replace my reservoir and is now replacing the part that was sliced up. That’s another $120 I could’ve saved had they caught it the first time. They’re great people but I believe the heat may have gotten the best of them and it cost me more in the end.

My family and I have been bringing our cars here for over 20 years, and there’s a reason we’ve stayed so loyal: quality work and total honesty. I recently went to a chain tire store for a quick patch and was told my front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced immediately, with a quote of $640. Before doing anything, I called Danielle. She gave me a much lower estimate and got me in quickly. Later that day, Danielle called to tell me the truth. My brakes and rotors were completely fine and wouldn’t need replacement for another 6 to 8 months. No upselling, no pressure, just honest advice. That kind of integrity is rare. I trust them completely with my family’s vehicles and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.
