I called several weeks ago to get a quote on several options of tires. The Manager, Greg, was very helpful and explained some of the benefits of one tire vs another. Several weeks passed, and I finally had time, so I went there to determine if I needed all 4 or just 2. When I walked in and started talking, Greg actually remembered our conversation!! He helped me make the final selection and ordered them for me. They would have been available the following day actually, but I waited to the following week. Greg is very friendly, honest, and helpful. I definitely recommend this store. I have been to Porters in Morristown also, and had similar good experience.

First off, called for appointment that I needed quick, called at 3 pm and they got me in the very next day. I was really pinched in time and as busy as they were they got me in AND out in time! Problem was solved and when I left there was NO NEW PROBLEM WITH MY CAR! Listen, I was amazed with this place! Incredible service, incredible, knowledgeable, very friendly people....it was actually a pleasure bringing my car there, as a woman that's saying A LOT! I can say with NO hesitation, if you need work done on your vehicle, please, don't even think twice .....GO THERE! I very rarely leave reviews, these days most services just aren't worth it but I had to after this experience. You don't stay in business for decades without providing the best of everything! I promise you, that's what porters does!!!!!! Thank you again my porters friends, I SO appreciate you! Happy holidays!

Thomas Cash at porters tire is who u need to go see if u need quality service efficiently. I am truly impressed with their work. My tires I bought from them are under warranty and they’ve been replaced twice from normal wear and tear for 40 bucks to get em mounted and balanced.thanks you for being the exception and not taking me because I was in need like everyone else.

Was traveling through Johnson City recently and my air pressure light came on. Sure enough we had picked up a screw and my tire was losing pressure quickly. We found Porters on google and saw they had great reviews so we stopped for repair. As soon as I walked in I spoke with Greg at the counter. He took my info and got my keys. Total time of checkin, repair and paying was less than 45 minutes. Greg was really nice to talk to and he got us taken care of quickly. When back in the area and I ever need anything I will definitely return. If your in the same situation we was in and in need of tire repair service definitely look these guys up. I’ve had Porters do 2 sets of tires on 2 different cars so far. They have great recommendations and know how to find what you want. The service charge on the new tires is worth it if you get your rotations done and come to them for flat fixes. Great people and good work. I plan on doing more business with them in the future.

Came to Porter's September 17, 2024 for a wheel alignment, Clay was the technician that did the procedure. It took him about one hour and 15 minutes and I observed him the entire time, he had lots of issues and seemed confused, basically gave up. He broke five of my guide pins from over adjusting the caster and camber and only one of the nuts out of four was torque to near specification,one was barely hand tight, these secure the upper control arm to the ball joint and frame, which is a critical part of the suspension. This could cause sudden loss of control when steering in a curve which could lead to a accident. Went back the next day, and the manager wanted me to talk with the tech, but I informed him that I wouldn't allow him to touch my truck again and showed him the picture of the damage that his employee caused to my truck. After which he agreed to give me a full refund, I also informed him that the tech cost me the labor of taking it all apart again and replacing what he had broken, the manager didn't care gave me the money and requested that I leave immediately. I also went to another alignment shop to verify the bad alignment job, which they couldn't believe was preformed by a professional technician. Will post the pictures taken. In closing I would be very cautious of any work this business performs.

Don't go im a mechanic by trade I wanted a alignment and my car didn't have busted axle boots after I took it there..the did just to give you a example the tie rod bolt is in line with axle boots when the can't break bolt loose the use heat a torch well mine is busted now after going there I have 22 chrome rims and now I've got grease all over my rims and under side of my car.. Do yourself a favor go to Firestone.. The tried telling me I had bent rims when all it was was busted belt in my tire I ordered 300 worth tires but canceled because the said rims was bent the lost money because the didn't check lazy in my opinion...
