Sales encounters have been more relaxed & helpful than other experiences elsewhere. Service department is great. I feel comfortable recommending this place to others.

Always friendly, informative, and knowledgeable, and for those reasons, I drive out of my way to go to Power Kia service over other closer Kia locations!

I purchased a car before it was detailed and I had to take it back twice and they still didn't do the job correctly

Alex was very helpful from the beginning. The financing process was easy and non intimating. I was able to be approved in a timely manner.

Poor customer service and the manager doesn’t make it any better will carry you on till you have nothing and they then still don’t know what’s wrong or when you car will be fixed and they always say there technicians aren’t available or working then how come you don’t start hiring better employees to service the shop like come on love the car brand but always get slap in the face by the service people like there never a finished time or day take a look at your car.

Sent my daughter there for paid for 10yr100k oil change. Apparently she was only able to receive the paid for service at intervals of 2x a yr @5k each. This was her third vist at 21k miles. They wanted 130 to change 4qts and filter. Rip off.

If I could give zero stars to Power Kia of Salem, I would. That is what they deserve. They had my car for almost four months, yet they wouldn't help me get a loaner car so I could make my daily 80 mile commute to work. They didn't give me any updates about the status of the service that needed to be done to replace the SECOND transmission on my 2021 Kia Soul that was less than two years old and had less than 38k miles on it. Due to the poor communication from Power Kia, I had to contact the Kia America Corporate office, I also contacted the OR AG, OR BBB, and NHTSA for faulty equipment and possible Lemon Law issues. I am looking into starting a class action lawsuit against Kia America for faulty transmission issues. I had to buy a new car because of Power Kia's lack of customer service. I chose to buy from Capitol Subaru because I will NEVER buy another car from ANY Power dealership or brand that has to be repaired/services by a Power dealership again. I look forward to working with Capitol Subaru in the years to come. Capitol Subaru has a much nicer facility, they even gave me a loaner car when I had a simple accessory installed. After owning three Kia Souls, that were serviced/repaired at Power Kia, I will NEVER promote or support Power Kia again!

Went here for first free complimentary service for my Forte. Everything went well (oil was changed for free, tires rotated, multipoint inspection done etc.,) except for the car wash. I found a few scratch marks on the bonnet and rear fender after the car wash. If you ever go here, do not give your car for a wash.

I have nothing but poor customer service dealing with Power starting with sales and ending with service. Promised items never delivered, rude employees, and canceled appointments. I've never been more disappointed with a car dealership and that is a big deal because I hate car dealerships.

I have brought my car in. Twice. Both times they lost it. The first time they couldn't even find the paperwork or my keys! Today I called to ask a question about a service light that came on. The receptionist said I could not speak with a tech and that I'd need to bring the car in to talk with someone. This happened once before. I love my kia but will never take it there again.

There’s a reason why they have bad reviews!!! Stay away ordered the wrong parts several times several wasted trips from Portland! Rude customer service and people that stand around and do nothing! Do better Kia!

Buy a car here if you want but do not believe their promises, guarantees, speaking of family like business, fast accurate vehicle care and accommodations that they offer. They may sell you a great deal but know its bullshit covered in glitter. Let me tell you why. I would go anywhere else if I could. My 14month old Kia Soul with 10,700 miles on it Just started banging and knocking so bad it was literally shaking and vibrating the whole car. It got slightly less shaky after it was warmed up but continued to knock. Pressing on the accelerator was rough and it would still shake throughout the drive making it feel like Im driving on gravel, at stops the steering wheel is vibrating if I have the engine left on at stops. If the engine is auto off at stops it starts up really rough. I just had an oil change my second oil change at 10,650 miles at Valvoline they said everything looks great but my battery was draining faster then it should and i need to get it to the dealership. Batteries should last 3-5 years. That was 10 days ago. I haven't even added fuel to the tank. I had Jiffy Lube check the oil job hoping something might be loss or maybe the wrong oil. Jiffy said they cant find anything wrong with the oil change that was done. They did say the car if not running right and I need to take it to the dealership. I get to the dealership right at 8am and ask if they can check my car out really quick to see what is wrong with it. I just need to know if it is something I need to worry about or not. Knocking is not a good thing I could be piston slap or Engine knocking. I know one is less urgent then the other but my car is a year old and should be having any knocking at all! It low miles so completely under warranty. The shop says they don't have any openings for a few weeks. I asked if the car would be ok till then and the front desk lady says she doesn't know. I asked if there was anywhere else I could take and she says it needs to be diagnosed here. I let her know I will be out of the country in a couple of weeks and My Teen that works night as the Hospital needs to be able to drive to work and the day they offered what right in the middle of his work week and the time right in the middle of his work day. I asked if they have a car we would be able to use while they have my car. She said no. I asked if the car brakes down do will they take responsibility? and She said no. I asked and if my kid is in an accident are they going to take responsibility then? She said no. I asked to speak to the manager. He pretty much was laughing in my face. I asked him if they dont have any opening and the closed Kia to us is over an hour away if he think my car would make it. He said I dont know it needs a diagnostic. I asked if it brakes down on my up will they cover the towing cost and car rental? He said no that would be on you. I asked if it would be fine to drive around town? He said IDK anything that sounds off need to be checked with a diagnostic. Asked again is there anywhere close I can take my car for the diagnostics to be check. He said it needs to be a kia dealer. I told him I am going out of the country and my Teen with be driving it for work when I am away. I asked if he can guarantee my kids safety in that car. He laughingly said absolutely not. I said if my kid gets in an accident and gets seriously injured will kia take responsibility for that. Again he laughingly said no. I asked and if he dies with the car at fault? He was literally laughing like my kids life is nothing but a joke to him. I let him know that car is our only means of transportation. I need it looked at just to let me know if it is Urgent or not. I was just asking for peace of mind and for them to back their words and promises I got when buying the car. To stand by their warranties in the least.. I asked for corporates number and they gave no solution but at least the one on the phone with me was sympathetic.

Horrible and rude employees!! Sales department was pleasant during the process of purchasing the car. However, they did make some false promises and because I am a naïve customer I didn’t get it in writing. Having some issues with my daughter’s car that we purchased/with the extended warranty only two months into purchasing the car. So I called the service center and everyone seemed to be passing the buck including the managers. The female employees who work in office at the service center have horrible customer service and so rude! Had horrible experience on the phone with them and in person. My suggestion would be to seek purchasing a car/servicing a car elsewhere.

Absolutely awesome service. Autumn was friendly and very proactive in updating me and providing a clear summary of the techs' findings and Power Kia's commitment to fixing things. And all under warranty. All around, an excellent experience. I would heartily recommend Power Kia both for their sales and service departments

Customer service is actually insanely terrible when it comes to reception. Lots of emotions getting in her way to the point where she hangs up on you, don’t think anyone deserves this. Maybe people wouldn’t comment on the terrible customer service if was better. Would recommend going somewhere else instead of being disrespected.

TLDR: ridiculously expensive with bad or lazy mechanics. You don't want to read a whole story; but if you have an actual issue, they are going to want obscene money and have your car for longer than they really should have it. They aren't even going to do it nicely or with a smile. The mechanics are either bad, or they are lazy and just don't want to do it. You would think a Kia shop would have deeper knowledge than a chain shop, but no. A normal working person with car issues shouldn't come here.
