Precision Tune on New Bern Avenue has become my go to for all mechanical work for my family. They have tackled literally everything I have given them. I’ve had cv axles replaced, valve gaskets, windshield washer pumps, which required removing the bumper. I’m truly amazed at what all they can do. Plus, I’m big on OEM parts. Precision Tune is one of a small minority that will allow you to bring your own parts. They won’t warranty your parts, but the OEM manufacturer does. Brian is super to work with, he is a great communicator and their prices are fair. I highly recommend Precision Tune. TRUST is the most important virtue to me for auto repair. If you’re looking for a hard working team that cares about customer service and repeat business, this is the place to go!

The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and courteous, but it was downhill with the mechanics in the garage. I got there at 7:55am and was there until 9:13am for an oil change. I had to walk up to the bay and ask him to back my car out because I have to go to work. They didn’t get around to rotating my tires because I had to go. They literally only changed my oil in one hour and 15 minutes and I was the first person there! The mechanics did find the time to smoke several cigarettes and e-cigarette breaks. The mechanic also took it upon himself to change my radio station. Didn’t know I was paying $88 for him to DJ! Never again. But thank you to the counter guy for being the only professional in the building.

Got a brake job done. Driving home, my wheel cover flew off. Called the garage and they seemed annoyed but agreed to order me a wheel cover. They never did and keep giving me attitude when I call back. I won't be using this garage again. Good thing there is another garage right next door.

I really appreciate that and fully recommend them Unfortunately, I forgot the front person's name, but Messiah was the mechanic helping me with my brake light amongst other things. I prefer this location over others. But keep an eye on what is being done to your vehicle because they will charge you for services that was not performed. Brandon was nice enough to correct slight miscommunication which I appreciate

Most Precision Tunes I've been to have the best service and professionalism but this very location on Atlantic Ave. had one employee with dreadlocks who was beyond disrespectful and too comfortable with how he choose to speak to me like we was school mates! Never again will I go there.

Since I'm unable to reach out to the corporate offices (no listed contact methods posted on the website), I decided to share my experiences here. This business has severely let me down. I went in for my first change ever on a recently purchased vehicle. I decided to come back to this auto shop because of my past experiences that were problem-free. This one oil change ($59.99), would later put me in the whole for a follow-up $527 visit to another local mechanic; in addition to other expenses. Whomever serviced my vehicle at Precision Tune Auto Care at this location failed to even attempt to tighten the cap on my oil filter or secure the filter itself. This later led to oil spewing all over everything under my hood. I use my car for ride-share services, so one day while I had a passenger, they drew my attention to the right side of my vehicle that appeared to be smoking. Moment of panic, I immediately turned off my vehicle, used my roadside assistance, rescheduled my passenger another ride to get them to where they needed to go, and had my vehicle towed to a local mechanic. They informed me that the smoking stemmed from the oil burning off while my engine was hot. Nightmare of an experience when you're stuck with a $527 bill and are unable to pay the same because your way to make money is currently down for repairs. I will never return to this shop. I trusted them for the most basic of basic service, and I was blind sighted with a bill that occurred because they failed to perform my service efficiently and accurately. Thanks for much of nothing, especially when times are hard on all of the working class who may or may not be employed and be able to scrape up the money for unnecessary vehicle repairs or costs.

Quick service and oil changes for half the price elsewhere. However, after getting an oil change my undershield dropped twice. First time they fixed without issue but within a few hours, the shield dropped again. Again, good service but I had not the best service.

It was a hectic day for me , I entered the address for Jiffy Lube but mistakenly ended up at Precision Tune Auto Care , which is very close by . After realizing the mix-up , I asked about adding a tire rotation so I could use the online coupon, I explained to the service representative that my intention were to go to Jiffy Lube because I have Groupon Bucks I wanted to use before they expire , even though I normally get my oil changes done at Precision . But his response was that they could stop the service and I could go to Jiffy Lube instead . While I understand this situation started due to my own mistake , I felt the response was a bit inappropriate .

Had a diagnostic done by this company on this car by someone who wanted to buy my car. The car sat there for an extended amount of time because of losing contact to the buyer. After finally finding my car at this location. I spoke to a team member that said that I was Good, and to come get the car when I can. Well when I came my car was gone. 5 stars for not towing my car before yesterday. But 2 stars because I was in contact with someone there and they said the car was “abandoned” and towed it anyway

I have been a regular customer here for over a year, I brought my car here today for oil change, when they took the car in, they noticed the battery was leaking and put the car outside, stating they can’t work on it because it is a fire hazard which I quite understand. I then asked and begged and plead to loan a tool to remove the battery myself before the battery leakage degenerated into something more serious, all of them denied borrowing me a plier stating its against their companies policy and that if anyone from management sees me fixing the car using their tool(one plier) they will get into trouble. So they rather prefer my car burn into ashes than loaning me a plier to remove the battery for 3-5minutes. I hope no one experiences this inhumane treatment I got from them today.

I’ve used this branch in the past, but I just wanted to compliment them on a service that I did not have there. I was having concerns regarding my battery and or possibly my alternator. I showed up pretty late one day and Kyle and Lazaro were amazing. They were very kind, even though it was late and told me it definitely was a battery problem. They looked at my battery and realized it was still under warranty. They were very honest and made a point that I should check on that and have it taken care of at the Shop that I bought it at. I was literally getting ready to purchase it there. I appreciate their honesty and kindness and will definitely be back for future services. Thanks again😊
