If You Care About Your Vehicle DO NOT TAKE IT TO PRICE FORD In Simi Valley . I spent the day there and people were coming in all day with problems Price Ford caused them , and Price Ford did the same for me . Incompetence , evil or both , either way you get bad results With Attitude and Rudeness at Price Ford . LOTS OF FORD DEALERS AROUND - GO TO ANOTHER ONE ! ...... You have been warned .......

Like a dishonest dealer for service? Like a service department who uses third party items which require special tools (lugnuts) then cant preform a tire service for you BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE THE TOOL? But tells you they did the service anyhow anyhow? How about a service advisor who lies about the service preformed and then charges you for it? and if you like a service manager who only serves himself and ignores your requests in an untimely matter THEN THIS IS YOUR DEALERSHIP! and dont believe the 100 point inspection................several things missed including a very visible vacuum line on the rear end hanging down. No confidence at all.

I am writing this in hopes that someone makes some serious changes here. I have been in the automotive industry for 10+ years and I must say my experience thus far at this dealership is really and the OEM should really put their focus on how customers are being treated here. The first time my vehicle was taken to the dealership was for an open recall plus the regular inspections. I scheduled the appointment in advanced for my vehicle to be picked up from my house and brought back to me that evening and confirmed parts were available. The pick up was two hours late and then I received a text stating that my vehicle was actually put into service until six hours later at about 4 PM even though I had an appointment for the morning. Nobody called me to give me an update And I ended up having to call them after service was closed to find out that they didn’t have the parts for one or time for another recall and were keeping my car. They did do the annual inspection and ran an ozone in my car for a mildew smell after having my car ALL DAY. Now, two weeks later… this is my second attempt at completing my recall, and getting a few other items looked at after confirming yet again that parts were available scheduled an appointment and had my vehicle picked up. This time I have not received any notification that the vehicle was taken into service and had to call to check on my vehicle at the end of the day only to find out they wanted to keep it an extra day due to the time it takes to complete the recall. The service manager stated that they weren’t sure what they were supposed to do on the car when it arrived even though we had an appt. And a documented work order!!?? Day two: I have heard nothing since that time, called and found out service left for the day and was transferred to a voicemail. So without my vehicle another day without being informed of anything. Every time I’ve called nobody seems to be communicating and know what’s going on. Things were missing off from the work order even though I spoke to somebody and had them documented. This has been the worst service experience I have ever had and those handling calls and “advising” don’t seem to know what is going on and they apparently don’t regard an appt. As an appt. 🤦♀️

I had an appointment for the Works, an oil change, tire rotation and a checklist check off. I added a diagnostic for my brakes which seemed mushy for some time. The cost of a diagnostic option is 209 dollars, unless they don't find anything wrong. The cost of it gets deducted from the work if you decide to proceed with the diagnosed repair. The oil change part took 3.5 hours, as I was waiting at the dealership. The diagnosis took 30 minutes. The diagnosis came back as certain parts of my brake system are "STARTING TO GO BAD"...so now I'm in the loop for the cost of that inconclusive diagnosis. The labor for the work on the starting to go bad parts was quoted as 1100 dollars...but here's the kicker, Ford no longer makes those parts, neither does the after market...on a 20 year old Expedition with 100k miles on it...which shares parts with the F150, the top selling truck. I firmly don't believe I should have been charged the diagnostics fee since the result is inconclusive and they can't fix "starting to go bad" components because they don't make them .. When it was time to pay, I had to remind them again that I booked online and the price of the service I checked was discounted, yet it defaults to the higher price. If you pay by credit card this dealership will now automatically add 4% surcharge for the convenience...and that's how silently the price is raised yet again. If there's a next time I'm bringing my large jar full of change. It's legal tender after all...get out your calculators.

Needed new condenser on my ford f250 .Met with Carmen in service who told me the after two days the part would be in . I dropped my truck off Tuesday morning and picked truck up following Monday. Even though it took 5 days ,Carmen came thru with a loaner and had my part covered under my extended warranty. She also gave me a follow up call which I appreciated.

We brought our car in this morning and multiple repairs and services were completed by early afternoon. Our service advisor, Edgar, was professional and courteous. One of the best service visits I’ve ever had.

Don't even think about going to this dealer. They broke something on my car while doing an inspection for a recall. The part apparently has been on backorder. Why do a recall if the part is unavailable? Further, they broke something that was just fixed a year earlier. The service department at Price gave me the runaround. It's six months later and my car looks like crap with an exposed two inch wide two foot long piece of metal exposed for the last six months. I'd finally had enough and called the service manager to get to the owner to ask them to use a part from a used vehicle to temporarily make my car look normal. He gave me some BS about the owner being out for the next week or so. kept wanting to argue. I said I'm not going to argue. I want to talk to the owner. He wouldn't do it. Also, I called the Ford corporate service number and they are even more useless. Basically a call center set up to rope-a-dope you. I have owned 4 Fords in my life. Never again. The Qualify on this most recent one is crap compared to the older ones. DO NOT BUY FORD and definitely not from Price Ford.

Grand American tire is the worst tire shop in Simi Valley. They’re crooks. Their shop is dirty. I should’ve never took my truck here.

This is the second time that I bring in one of my cars for service. Fortunately I got the same service advisor, Edgar Elizalde. He’s super friendly, very attentive and remembered me from my first visit. He got me in and out which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Price Ford Service. Make sure to ask for Edgar next time you’re in.

UPDATE: Service Manager Brian followed up after my review to make the effort and turn the experience around. He offered to pick up the truck or drop it off and give a rental. I scheduled the drop off 2 days later first thing in the morning. Once I arrived- I was not on the schedule and referred them to Brian as techs were unaware what service to provide and scrambled for a rental since nothing was notated. Since inspection fee was paid on last visit, they completed it in full this time with the result of rodent damage. Needless to say, we did have to pay with a minor discount given and was done same day. The overall experience from first visit to this one was unfortunate due to lack of communication that made it unnecessarily inconvenient on how things were handled. What we’ve learned from this experience- never purchase extended warranty, avoid repairs at dealership as they are double+ the cost from mechanic and if anything, just stick to the general routinely maintenance with minimal customer service expected. Thanks for trying Brian. ORIGINAL POST: Took truck to get fuse serviced since warranty is still available. Needed to make appt, which got booked 2 days later at 8a-fine. Receive text confirmation after I leave for 9:30a, no problem- would just drop off early. At drop off, I request afternoon pick up needing to picking up son from school. Rep, Carmen states we can pick up without service getting done- wow. Finally get the call fuse needs replacement (which we already knew) yet need to confirm it wasn’t done by rodents now and needed $1500 approval to dissect -nice leeway to override warranty. Passed on that service and was told truck is ready to go. Upon arrival, we get charged $250 for something we relayed (and was noted on service ticket upon drop off) AND fuse NOT replaced which basically confirms not only their service is fraud yet their warranty is too! Basically paid $250 for frustrations of nothing in return while it should have been a $35 part and labor that should have been paid by warranty. What can one do other than warn the public of the unethical Service provided at this dealer.

My experience with Edgar and his team was exceptional. I brought my new Bronco Sport in for it's first oil change and tire rotation. I was told it take approximately 1.5 hours. When I mentioned I would wait, they said they would expedite the service. Forty minutes later Edgar let me know the vehicle was ready and shared a Multi Point Inspection report that was detailed and thorough. I would highly recommend Price Ford for any services needed.

I recently brought in my 2008 Ford F-450 Super Duty for another round of great service at Price Ford of Simi Valley, and once again, I was thoroughly impressed. Brian & his team took excellent care of both me and my truck. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. They made sure the service was completed efficiently and took the time to explain everything in detail—walking me through the work performed and answering all my questions. It’s always reassuring to know my vehicle is in good hands. Huge thanks to Brian and the entire team at Price Ford of Simi Valley for their outstanding service!
