This is hands down the best place to get your tires changed. John offered me a price $200 cheaper for the specific tires I wanted compared to 4 of the other dealers I called. He took the time to walk me through the pros and cons of tire choices and was not pushy at all. My tires were changed in less than an hour and the waiting space was comfortable and inviting. Honest and friendly, the entire experience from start to finish was a genuine pleasure. Can’t recommend them enough.

The owner, Travis Prior and his team provide prompt professional service at a very reasonable price. His team has experience and they deliver on expectations. They even did roadside repair on my neighbors car so I know they offer this service as well. I am a Costco member and long-time Lloyds patron but based on my experiences, I choose to support a locally owned business when it comes to all the products and services offered at Prior's tires. I hardly ever write reviews and I am a harsh critic but I felt compelled to write a review about this great business because if it meets my standards, you may be equally impressed as well.

It’s unfortunate that I need to highlight that a shop conducts its business ethically. But in addition to my shout out that Priors can be trusted (whereas at least one other formerly reputable SC tire shop cannot), Priors staff is warm and friendly, they diagnose problem accurately and honestly, charge fairly, the waiting room is actually comfortable. I don’t write many reviews, but I like to support upstanding businesses. Excellent experience. Thanks, John!

Update: Priors is my Heavy Duty Truck place in Santa Cruz county now. After a spotless simulator replacement and brake job following a tire rotation and some tag axle tires, I'm driving as well as I look now. Gabriel was super patient, informative, and busted his behind in the sun and broke a sweat like an adult to do it right promptly. Clean, efficient operation, fair prices, and outstanding customer service and support. The last of the Mohicans! ... Original: Honest straight shooter, does 19.5s, and speaks English! Awesome shop! I took my car there to get the wheels balanced and I was afraid cause I lost the special key for the lug nuts. They had the proper tool to get em off and then also replaced all the lug nuts with a new set I bought. Gave a great price for the balancing and didn’t charge any extra to switch out the lug nuts. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable as well!

Excellent prompt service and polite kind folks. I got two new front tires at a great price. I am hearing impaired and primarily read lips. This makes communication difficult for me and frustrating for others. The entire staff was patient and friendly, I never felt diminished in any way. I stopped by couples of tire shop before I found this hidden gem of a tire shop. The two guys working here is very experienced and knows what they were doing. I’m a car enthusiast and never have I seen other tire shop patch up a hole like these guys. Other places charge $30 just to plug or patch a hole. This place actually sanded down the place where the hole was and applied applicator. I felt the professionalism of their work. Very polite and great customer service I would highly recommended this place to my family and friends.

I was a loyal Lloyd's customer for many years. When they were sold, the quality dropped like a rock. So, I made an appointment at Costco, thinking I had no other choice. At Costco, I arrived on time and waited TWO HOURS for a new set of tires, and my car was still in the parking lot. They'd misplaced the paperwork, and I had to wait another 45 minutes. OK, so I forgave them for that. Everyone makes mistakes. Then I went yesterday for tire rotation and balancing. I asked please to check for a slow leak in one of the tires. "How long will this take?" I asked. About an hour and a half. Really? OK, so I sat in my car waiting and waiting. It was almost TWO HOURS before they even picked up my car. So I went into the store to pick up some things. They called 30 minutes later and said my car was ready. "Did you check for the slow leak?" No, they said. It wasn't on the order. So, up on the lift again. Checked the tires and FOUND A NAIL IN ONE. (Don't they check these things?) But it's in a place that can't be repaired, they said. They offered to put on the spare while they ordered a new tire. I refused because my trunk was filled with groceries. Just put on the old tire and I'll keep filling it with air until the new tire arrives. Almost 30 minutes go by and still the tire hasn't been put on. When I asked what was keeping them, they treated me like I was asking for the moon and then some. By now, THREE HOURS had gone by. I demanded that they put my tire on NOW. "We had to balance it," they said. Big fat lie. Wasn't it already balanced when they rotated them?? Then the guy started backing out of the bay WITH THE CHAIN STILL ACROSS THE ENTRY. I had to yell for him to stop, while I removed the chain. Then I asked if they had reset the maintenance lights on my dash. Yes, they said. I started up my car, and the "tire rotation" light came on. I asked them to please reset the light. They said they didn't know how to do that BECAUSE IT WASN'T A SERVICE THEY OFFERED. Monday, I'm heading over to Prior's. All these five-star ratings have convinced me... plus the fact that the owner used to be at Lloyd's!!! Bonus!!! And afterward, I'm going to write another review. These folks quoted me $50., and after mounting and balancing the tire and installing it and disposing of the previous tire, they charged me $50. Period. They even fed me while I was waiting. Definitely got there at the right time! The pictures are of a go-kart and trailer combo they're selling for twenty five hundred. And yes, I want it. And no, I can't have it. But some lucky person out there can! Recommended!

The shop is very clean and has a comfortable waiting room and patio, staff was friendly and John had an option that fit my budget. Great shop with super nice people and honest prices. I had my brakes done here, my brake pedal was vibrating when applied. They diagnosed and solved the problem in a timely manner. I even got a ride back to my neighborhood from the owner which was unexpected but I was super grateful 🙏🏾 (work was going to take longer than anticipated) Priors tires is a great shop and I always recommend them to people. came here after Lloyds tried to rip me off $1000+. Had a blowout of a tire and was told by Lloyd's that I needed new tires for the entire car since it's all wheel drive, I took it to priors because I couldn't afford a new set and they laughed at what Lloyd's said and told me they could match the tread depth and replace it with a used tire, called my friend who's a licensed mechanic very familiar with awd and he agreed. Priors replaced both front tires with used ones that match the tread on my rear tires, job was completed within the hour for just over $100, they saved me over $1000 and earned a customer for life. can't be happier with the service, they were extremely friendly clearly explained the issue with awd and completed the job in very fast time; can't recommend them enoug. thanks for ease of doing business and making a very stressful day a lot smoother!
