Wonderful, experience they took care of my car issues and fixed it right away. At first I was nerves of all the bad reviews but don't judge before you try it. The owner is very understanding and kind. For us girls we are always scared to be taken advantage of when it comes to car problems you have nothing to worry about when you have understanding people who are welling to help and give you great price.

I went in for an oil change and came out with a antifreeze leak. I have been driving my car for the past 3 months with zero problems. I bring my car in and they ask me to come look at the car and they say my coolant is empty and they would fill it up. I drive home and park my car only to see loads of antifreeze spilling from my car. They didnt even reset my oil gauge. I went back and they wont hold themselves accountable. They said 750 for new radiator and I told them it's a 300 job, they dropped the price to 475. My car only made it 2 miles before the over heat light came on. All from a simple OIL CHANGE. I also have video of everything that better explains the situation. I dont know the mechanic filling my car with water, the main guy kept asking me not to take pictures and he is controlling the water on/off squatting. He said to "bring it".

Stripped my oil pan threads and quoted 3k for an oil pan replacement. Once I spoke with the GM they lowered the price to 1k (including a transmission service???) and failed to resolve the issue that they caused on my vehicle. After speaking with the GM he walked away mid conversation and told me to take my vehicle elsewhere. IN CASE YOU REVIEW THIS, MY VEHICLE IS REGISTERED UNDER MARIO ARZATE, not my name! Toyota tundra, and I will be pursuing legal action. This is absolutely the correct business profile, Raul is the general manager. Specially reviewing for the store on Charleston. SCAMMERS, unethical, and they refuse to right their wrongs.

I need an option for 0 stars. I took my car to Perfect Auto because my check engine light was on. They told me I needed to replace both catalytic converters (Bank 1 and 2), which cost me $1,300. I live paycheck to paycheck, so keeping my car running is extremely important to me. After the repair, my check engine light came back on just two days later. I did my own research and found that Toyota Camrys can’t use cheap aftermarket catalytic converters — they don’t read properly with the computer. I brought my car back, and they told me they’d replace them with a higher-quality brand. I appreciated that and they said it would be done before closing at 6 PM. I never got an update all day, so I called them myself around 5:20 PM. The lady at the front desk said she checked with the mechanics and told me my car was ready for pickup. I spent money on an Uber to get there — only to be told my car actually wasn’t ready because they “found a broken gasket.” My gasket was not broken when I brought my car in. They broke it themselves while replacing the converters ( I HAVE IT ON VIDEO OF THE MECHANIC ADMITTING FAULT TO BREAKING MY GASKET) Instead of calling to tell me, they lied and said my car was ready. I told them obviously to fix what they broke and had no choice but to leave it another day (and pay for another Uber home). The next day they apologized and promised it’d be ready by noon. When I finally got my car back, the check engine light was off, but now my car makes a rough noise whenever I stop or sit at a light. This whole experience was an absolute nightmare — completely unprofessional. The morning of my replacement of my catalytic converters I brought my car in, I was waiting outside before they opened (they open at 8 AM, I was there at 7:50). The workers and managers were standing around laughing and staring at me, and one of them even shined a green laser directly into my face through my windshield. They’re lucky I didn’t call the police and file a complaint. For harassment and potential assault. Guess they dont know Nevada law (NRS 202.4485) specifically makes it illegal to aim a laser at a person or into a vehicle. I didn’t say anything because I just wanted my car fixed and didn’t want more problems. The only reason I went here was because they were open on a Sunday and my usual mechanic, Paul’s Auto Service, was closed. Please stay far away from this shop. Don’t be fooled by their cheap ads for $9 oil changes — it’s not worth it. Unless you have the time and money to fix their mistakes, go somewhere else. If you want real, honest service, go to Paul’s Auto Service across the street. John, the main mechanic there, actually does quality work, on time, and doesn’t cause extra issues. Perfect Auto is the opposite of “perfect.” Never again.

This place is a scam! I went there to see if they could fix my brakes because they were loose and I had to pump them to stop. They took my truck, looked at it and said yes we can fix it. It was 300.00 but I said fine I need them fixed. After they "repaired" my brakes they called me back into the shop and said " do you see this "pointing to something hanging under my truck" I said yes, he said that's a part of the transmission. So the breaks are still going to be loose. They did absolutely nothing. I asked for a refund and he said no because he added brake pads or something to my breaks that I didn't need. They were exactly the same as I drove off. Do not trust this place. There was no way that he missed that issue before they charged me. They refused to give me a refund. I wouldn't even trust them to do a smog, especially the guy with the colored eyes. They might damage your vehicle just to get more service.

If I could give 0.05% stars, I would even though they do not deserve it. I took my car in on Saturday 11/01/25 @ 11:20. As I pull into shopping mall, I see "smog $9.99" painted/posted on rear wall facing entrance to mall. i turn to the right and see "smog $9.99" painted on end of building. I turn right again into parking lot and in the window directly next to entrace door is a full window banner saying "Smog $9.99 most vehicles". I walk inside and ask for a smog certificate. I am told it will be $19.99. I said here, here is a coupon for $9.99. She said we have raised our prices. It will be $14.99 with the coupon. I said hey its advertised for $9.99, it is still plastered all over the building and you should honor your advertisements until they are removed. She said Im sorry we are in process of changing everything I can give it to you for $14.99 thats it. I said ok fine ill pay the $14.99 but I think its wrong. She get my information, I sign the work order anf give her my key. As I am waiting, I see the manager and proceed to show him all the signs they have plastered all over the building and next to the door. He says its going to be $24.99 now the prices have been increased. I said i gave her the coupon and agreed to the 14.99 but Im not happy with it and I feel it is wrong not to honor advertised prices. He proceeds to tell me he wont even do it for the 14 anylonger, its 19.99. I say no thanks. He grabs my key and throws it at me and spits towards me. This is pathetic behavior!!!. Regardless, If you have an advertisement for a service at a set price you should honor it. period. End of discussion!! If they will act like this, they are not to be trusted. They have zero integrity and zero regard to good business practices. I strongly advise aavoiding this merchant at all costs. I will be discussing this with the State Of Nevada. It should be illegal to reneg on advertised services provided for the state. I hope their license to provide smog cerificates is revoked. Beware !!!! You have been warned!!!

Don't fall for this scam of a shop. Purrfect Auto Services is a purrfect scam. Thank God we refused to get our oil change there. They looked at the car in the bay, brought us to the underneath of the bay and told us that they were doing this because they wanted to assure us they are honest. (Far from it). They were conning us into doing unnecessary work. They showed us oil on the oil pan and said there was a leak. They brought us up top and showed us an oil filter and an engine filter and a rusty spark plug. The engine filter had grass in it. (In Nevada?) They oil filter was squished. This was a red flag as in addition, we never had oil leak on our driveway. They were very pushy for us to finance $389 for repairing the leak and also $389 to flush the brake fluid system, which they also lied about and said it was dirty that the color was dark. Fi dancing involved a piece of paper where you must disclose your bank account. and routing numbers with your social security number. They say it's for in-house financing, but turn around and supply you with a finance company's pamphlet

Dishonest people!! They said I needed work done on my car and then kept pushing back the date of when it would be ready. They managed to make more damage! The hood latch was completely messed up after I reopened it and I almost crashed due to it not closing safely. The manager emailed me and ghosted me. They charged $1,000 and refuse to refund me or do the right job. DO NOT COME HERE! They’ll just ignore you after you realize they scammed you

SCAM ALERT❗ I'm very sorry to write this review, as I only leave reviews if experiences are excellent, or terrible. Unfortunately, this place is not only terrible, it is a legitimate scam. It's so bad that I'm filing a claim with the DMV. TLDR: They charged me and straight up didn't do the work on my car, and took 7 hours because I wanted to make sure it was done. They waited until I wasn't looking. For the long version, Here's what happened: I came into the shop with a beater car, knowing it needed some necessary maintenance. I did not want to spend a lot as I just need it functioning. Now, I'm not a car guy, so I needed someone who is to look at it and tell me what's exactly wrong. Unfortunately, some places (like this one) take advantage of people like that. They looked at it and told me all these things that were wrong with it. Told me that it wouldn't be safe to drive - unless I fixed it with them. These 2 slimy guys (primarily Marcos) were trying to butter me up and sell me on a bunch of stuff I know my car didn't need to function. On top of that, I was in a tricky financial situation that I expressed to them. They pretended to care, but they still tried to push unnecessary updates. I reluctantly agreed after I folded to scare tactics. The counter lady Carmela, put her hand in my face as I was reading the agreement saying "that's not important, don't read that." And just asked me to sign. After that, they created the invoice - and I read over that too. Good thing I did, because they left almost everything they told me they were going to do out. I asked them to revise it. They did, and CONTINUED to omit important things. I had them revise it 5 SEPARATE TIMES, before it said the price we agreed upon, and the work it was supposed to have. They kept taking things out of the invoice without telling me, and sending it to me to sign. Then the work began. Keep in mind, I had a shift to work in a few hours. They said, "Yeah bro, we can get this done in about 2 hours so you can get going on time." And so I waited. I was periodically watching them, and they really didn't like that. All in all, it took them 7 HOURS, and I had to call out of work that day because I didn't have a car. Something always "kept coming up". I asked them for pictures of the removed parts. They showed me only 2 of 6 parts they were supposed to replace. Not to mention, one of them was NOT EVEN FROM MY CAR. Yes, they were that scammy! Afterwards, I took it to another shop to make sure they did a proper job. They came back and told me I had problems - the SAME PROBLEMS Purrfect told me THEY FIXED. That's where they showed me all the rusted and oil caked components that were supposedly "replaced". ON TOP OF THAT, I called the company they used to finance me to report them. The company stated that Purrfect only put me down for one repair (the only one they did), and just put that one repair for the full amount. Well, I have a physical copy of the invoice AND a screenshot of the form they sent me that states what I was actually quoted. If I hadn't asked for/kept my invoice, I would've been totally screwed. In short, don't ever go to these guys. Stay away from Purrfect Auto - and if you need a mechanic, go to Brake Masters. BM did a phenomenal job on my car after these scammers messed with my car. I left photos btw after they "worked on" my car. You can see that it's rusted, oil caked, and damaged, as if nobody actually worked on it. Go figure. And BTW, these guys always leave comments on their reviews to try and justify their "work." Don't buy it, they're literally scammers doing what they do best - tricking people.

Avoid this place. I showed up several months back with my car overheating. They determined the issue was a blown radiator fan. But like with many of the customers below will tell you, that's not ALL they'll find. Suddenly my motormounts were worn, I had a leaky hose, bad valve covers, AC was out etc. I had just been in a fender bender, so I asked if it's possible the damage they were finding could be somehow related. Tony assured me that it likely was, and that my insurance would cover the cost of the damages, of which they quoted me upwards of 4 digits, mind you. They set me up with the front desk girl who quickly got me approved for a large loan to get the necessary repairs. I was shocked to learn after I was approved, and that they started repairs, that if I didn't pay the loan off in three months, the loan service would charge me interest so astronomical, it would cost more than the car is worth to eventually pay it all off. Put it this way, if you needed $2k for repairs, and didnt pay that off in 90 days, you would be on the hook for $6k, or this company gets your vehicle after trashing your credit and sending you into bankruptcy. That didnt stop Tony from coming out and discovering new issues with my car after he learned I was approved for more than what was needed to complete repairs. Took a day or two for them to complete everything, and I got my car back, but several days later, my battery dies, my belt (a month old) was squeaking, and the hood wouldn't close all the way or open because they set the inner stopper too high. They had the audacity to offer to fix all of this for $250 when I brought it in to address these issues. Opted to get a code reader myself for my airbag, and fixed the stopper myself using a youtube video. The belt they "replaced", still squeaks months later. I'm not even sure they did the transmission flush they charged me for because now I get stuck in 3rd gear anytime I'm going over 40mph. All in all, I had a terrible experience, my insurance, of course, refused to cover any of it (the adjuster even suggested I may have been scammed when they personally inspected my motor mounts at the shop and said they only saw a bit of oil on them, but no wear), and I while I was fortunate enough to be able to pay off that deeply predatory loan, it wasn't without difficulty. Maybe there are good people who work at this shop, but I certainly didnt encounter them on my visit. You can even search Purrfect Auto and find recent court cases they've lost by scamming past customers. Trust me, take your business elsewhere. And if you find yourself unlucky enough to be in an emergency situation, take what they find in their "inspection", with a grain of salt. When they eventually show up on this review to nitpick every detail I've provided here, that should be every bit if evidence you need. Im a busy guy, I dont usually have time to write reviews like this, but Im still feeling the fallout of these "repairs" all these months later, and it didnt feel right not to share them here and hopefully spare somebody else who is far less fortunate than me, that might not recover from this kind of treatment.

Terrible customer service and a lot of scamming. For example. I was told my water pump was leaking and air compressor was going out, they wanted to services immediately right then and there. Took it to another mechanic and come to find out that none of that was the issue. Just ugly customer service, scams a lot of people. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Really pay attention to the reviews and be careful who you take your vehicle to such as this location at purrfect auto on Charleston and Bruce. Before you get scammed. The guy at purrfect auto wouldn’t even put air in my tire, he told me to go across the street. Just diabolical and petty.

I’ve been hearing about this place for a while now and I want to thank Carmela in the front office for being so nice and friendly. Although I just needed a smog check they found an issue with the mounting bracket that I must have kicked loose and they were able to snap it back in place 🙏🏼 and I passed my test. They are a busy shop but to me that’s a good sign. Customers were being served and the employees were all polite and friendly. - Glad I came to this location 👍 . 9/4/2024 Today I returned for an oil change and they got me in and out quickly. Thank you again Carmela here at #515 on Charleston.

I do NOT recommend Purrfect Auto Service. They charged me $1,600 for repairs they said were "urgent," but later I found out some of the work was unnecessary. They also promised new original parts, yet installed a reconstructed driveshaft. The manager was rude, unhelpful, and refused to speak with me. I have two receipts with different information and several inconsistencies. Very unprofessional and dishonest experience. Avoid this place.
