Thank you to Mr. John, and the management team for handling my vehicle & customer concerns with integrity & care.

I was in town visiting my son when my suv started making a knocking sound and found Purvis ford service department was open on Saturday. I called and talked to Greg and explained my situation and he said come in and they would take a look. They took me without an appointment and took care of everything. Greg was so helpful and I was back on the road within n 2 hours! I’m from Florida and had a long ride starting the next day and was so grateful for their help!

I went to Purvis Ford having looked online at their inventory and knowing what I wanted to see beforehand. The sales team were able to work with me to get a deal I was happy with and drive off the lot that day in a great vehicle. The process was long (was there for 5 hours) but the staff were all friendly and the lobby is comfortable to wait in. I appreciated that the sales team were not aggressive and let me have space when needed.

I would like start off and say the cashier was really nice, but I will never be back to this dealership. I made the appointment over four days ago, knowing that I needed shocks for my car from another dealership they did not have the shocks on hand and told me it would take an extra day so now I’m having no car for work. I told the representative I did not want that done that I just wanted my battery changed at 9 o’clock in the morning it’s now after three and it’s not ready. They still haven’t put it back together not to mention the representative also argued with me on the phone saying that I didn’t ask for rear shocks. I asked for an Estimate, but it’s a Ford dealer using Ford parts using the Ford labor schedule so it wouldn’t be much different than the dealership I already got the quote from.

We are very grateful to Karen Zelaya, the Service Manager who handled our vehicle repairs. Our 2010 Ford Fusion Sport was disabled and towed to Purvis Ford on the afternoon of Friday, December 26th. We were on our way back home to NC with another 5 hours ahead of us to get there. Basically we were stranded in Fredericksburg with no car to go anywhere, no change of clothes and almost out of our Rx medications. The primary source of our car's failure was a bad alternator that wasn't functioning and needed to be replaced. Karen appreciated our predicament and worked tirelessly to get us back on the road as soon as she possibly could. Less than 24 hours from the time it was towed in, our car was completely repaired and we were able to return home by Saturday evening. My wife and I just want to Thank Karen and her mechanics for all they did to help us and the exceptional service that we received. Purvis Ford is a fantastic place to have your car serviced and we would highly recommend their Service Department to anyone. Karen Zelaya went above and beyond to salvage our trip back home and we greatly appreciate all she did for us. Bernie Gebhardt, Jr.

I had an oil change done at Purvis Ford and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. The staff was professional, the service was quick, and everything was explained clearly. My vehicle was ready on time and I had no issues at all. The waiting area was clean and comfortable too. Overall, everything was good and I’ll definitely be coming back for future service.

I had an excellent experience with Purvis Ford. Their staff is knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely attentive, which makes a huge difference. One thing that really stood out is how well they document information in their computer system—and actually use it. Every person I interacted with was informed, consistent, and able to pick up exactly where the last conversation left off. After dealing with a few other Ford dealerships in the Fredericksburg area where communication and follow-through were lacking, working with Purvis Ford was a breath of fresh air. The process was smooth, efficient, and respectful of my time. If you’re looking for a Ford dealership that values accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication, Purvis Ford sets the standard. Highly recommend!

I purchased a new 2026 Ford F250. I'm happy with my truck but not happy at all to find out NO service plan is included from Purvis Ford. Zero oil changes tire rotations etc. They take your money and totally leave you hanging. It's up to me to pay for any and all of my service. I will never recommend them to anyone.

I was in the market for a truck and had already visited the competition, e.g., Chevy and Ram dealerships which provided me their Out-the-door price ... Purvis Ford was my last stop. My sales rep, Andrews Ohemeng, was on point and made this process seamless and enjoyable. Now came to get the deal done. Gave Andrews all my info to include the CarMax quote (Radley and Safford honor this via agreement with CarMax and said it is dealership wide). The general manager, David Eadie, decided to not honor it and gave me $2,000 less. On top of that negated the military discount. Went back-and-forth but he would not budge but asked if I'd put anything down. Granted this would bring price down to matching Safford's for their Ram 1500 and would make the choice to pick the F150 that much easier. Needless to say I was "allowed" to walk out without a sale. To me it seems David put profit over client and forgot the reason Purvis won Best of the 'Burg for 2025. I am happy with my purchase and it was not the F150 which was my front runner. Nevertheless see Andrews if you are in the market. Maybe you'll have a better chance than I did. Good luck!

Very good experience at Purvis Tuesday. I was greeted as soon as I entered the service bay, told them who I am and that I had an appointment. Soon Brian came out and knew exactly what I wanted done and that I would wait. He told thete were two customers ahead of me on the inspection line but it should go fast. And it did! I was out of there in an hour and a half. Doesn’t get any better than that!

It’s almost comical, how awful their service dept has become. Granted I have not had a great experience ever since dealing with these people. Save the frustration and get your work done somewhere else. Took my bronco to get the windshield wiper tank fixed and talk about an error msg on the dash about power steering lose. Already knew the wouldn’t look into the power steering issue because it was just a “msg on the dash” and that’s their answer most of the time. The problem with the washer tank( you fill it in the morning and it’s evening it’s empty) was something they could actually see and put their hands on. After over a week at the dealership because they are so backed up. I got a call that everything was fixed. Couldn’t find the power steering issue, and the washer tank was “all set” When I got there I was told that everything was fine and they did an oil change and tire rotation. I get in the car and test the wipers and no spray. Drive it back in to the drop off and pop the hood to look and there’s fluid in the tank but motor isn’t making any sound. Also there is oil all over the inside front of the engine compartment. That had to of been a fun spill in the garage when you were filling the oil. I was given a paper towel to wipe it off while someone went to get the tech that worked on my truck . 😑 The tech came out and no lie wanted to know why I was frustrated. I said my trucks been here almost two weeks and it’s not fixed and just dirty. And I’m the one cleaning it. He said he fixed the problem in the ticket so I don’t know what ticket he was reading. I asked how long it would take to fix the truck and he didn’t know, and that “ if I wanted him to actually fix it I would have to leave it.” Since he would have to “do some stuff”. I left it there again and got a call a few days later it was done. Guess what… no spray. I drove it home and called a different dealer. And extra credit. The lid for the fuse box was off and rattle around the engine compartment the whole way home. Took it to a different dealer in the area. They fixed it in one day.

I had an outstanding experience at Ourisman Ford, thanks to Justin G. From start to finish, he made the process of buying my 2023 Ford Bronco Sport smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. Justin G was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and transparent—he took the time to answer all my questions, explain my options clearly, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. There was zero pressure, just genuine professionalism and great customer service. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I drove off in the exact vehicle I wanted. If you’re looking for someone who’s honest, responsive, and actually cares about your experience, ask for Justin G at Ourisman Ford. I couldn’t be happier with my Bronco Sport or the service I received. Highly recommend!

During my visit everyone that I came in contact with was very nice. I felt sorry for the people that worked in the service lanes that morning, because it was very cold. There was one young lady with long dark hair and gauges in her ears that stood out from the others. I didn't catch her name, but she was running around doing errands. Almost as if the other employees were standing still. All services were done in a timely manner. I did have one problem with my windshield wiper replacement service. I assumed that all wipers would be changed. But when I read the invoice only the front two were replaced. And they didn't change the small one on the rear window. Other then that excellent!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Purvis did an outstanding job with the repair of my F150. Completed the repair a full day ahead of the planned schedule. Karen Z with the Service Advisor Team was extremely professional and helpful during this process. Great customer experience, thank you Purvis!

I went in for a Total Works oil change, which includes a tire rotation and pressure check, on a Ford I purchased at this Ford dealership. As I was driving home after the service, on the freeway, at night, in the rain, I got a Tire Pressure System Warning that one or more tires was “significantly under-inflated.” Consistent with their lack of care for customers, no one answered my phone call or returned my voice mail about this. After doing my own research, I found that the car requires markedly different tire pressure between the front and back tires. I suspect that the service department rotated my tires but failed to properly adjust the tire pressure. If the service department missed something this obvious, I wonder what else they missed…

Went in and asked for my previous sales person who sold me my 2022 Explorer ST. Purcel Draper. He put me in a new 2025 Explorer ST. Many new features with this model year vs. 2022. All for the better. Would not own any other model Explorer other than the ST. Nice power with the V6 engine. Service department is great at Purvis. Awesome service manager that will go the extra mile. Very nice gentlemen. Other service techs are knowledgeable and polite. Great overall experience at Purvis in Fredericksburg.

We bought our car there & are happy. The reason for 2 stars is because we made a 9am appointment for an oil change. We waited on line for 20 minutes just to check in. We went out to eat, called & were told the car wouldn't be ready because they were busy. We went shopping & then called again & were told they're all going out to lunch & then they'll work on the car We didn't get the car back till 2:30pm. We'll never go there for anything again. We've gone to the Ford dealership in Richmond & we were in & out quickly. It's a further drive for us, but so worth it.

The staff were excellent. They answered my questions about the truck I was interested in and did not pressure me for a sale. They provided an out-the-door price and explained the items that comprised that final price. This made it easy for me to consider their offer. I highly recommend Purvis Ford and Mr. Drapper in particular.

I moved to Virginia in August. I didn’t know i needed a vehicle inspection sticker, until the Deputy told me😭. However, John and Danny in the Service Dept made the task feel like a mini trip to Disneyland🙌🏼 i was in and out before I finished a cup of coffee. I am extremely happy with the great service. Purvis is my go to spot for my truck from now on. Safe travels everyone.

I went in with a coupon for the seasonal package Purvis sent me for my 2024 F250. (Oil change, new wiper blades, air filter, rotate tires, check fluids). I dropped off at 9am - I tried calling at 4pm since I hadn’t heard from them. I was on the phone for 35 minutes and I never received an answer. It took 35 minutes because the phone system sent me to a voicemail twice, when I did get to the service department it took the person 15 minutes to find out the status which was she didn’t know. I received a call 15 minutes later, it was ready. When I arrived I stood there as 3 employees did other things, finally I asked how do I pick up my truck? Then, the cashier found my invoice and it was $60 more than the coupon they had sent me, which they lowered almost to the coupon price. When I looked over my truck they had rotated tires on one side and not the other, so I had to leave it over night and my wife and I had to drive the 20 miles home and back again the next day. I’m hoping the oil, filter and everything else was done. I don’t go to dealers often because there is almost always some sort of problem like I experienced this time. I don’t trust them to do quality work, they waste my time (not calling with an update, poor phone service (35 minutes to find out nothing about the status of my truck,) standing in the lobby and having to ask how to pick up my truck and they are expensive. I live in Stafford but bought in Williamsburg and will service myself or go to a non-dealer service shop. I would prefer to have a local Ford dealer where I could get a good price on a vehicle and have good service at a reasonable cost but Purvis Ford has not shown they can deliver. I have another brand of vehicle that I always buy and service in Stafford / Fredericksburg with no problems.
