I always get my car services there, now on my second car and I still go there. They are honest and live up to their business name "quality". I come all the way from the Tacoma area to their shop, I rarely call to make an appointment, they take walk-ins all the time. Great people, great technicians, great owner, great all around service. Highly recommend.

The owner was very friendly unfortunately poor service. I went in due to my check engine light being on. I paid for the diagnostic test and was told it just needed an oil change. They changed the oil and said my car was in great shape. A week later the light came back on so I went back. This time I was told that I have several issues and my transmission was going out. And that I was low on oil.

I cannot recommend Qual-A-ty and Steve highly enough. I had my poor lemon of a Nissan Quest in to see if it was worth fixing. So many people would have had me pour so much money into a car that just wasn't worth it. Steve was absolutely honest, charged me only what it took to diagnose it, and was patient while I arranged to get it back home. Reliable, honest, skilled, and kind -- I will be going to these guys for my repair work from here on out.

If honesty is what you're looking for in an auto shop, this is where you want to go. They know what they're doing and don't hit you with unnecessary work/fees. My family has been taking cars to Steve for a long time (the first car I personally brought to them was in 2002-2003) but their history with other family members goes back even further. I refuse to buy a used vehicle unless it passes the "Steve test". Thanks yet again qual-a-ty! I did end up buying the Honda Fit I brought in recently. -Greg

My 2009 Avalanche had a major issue with the power steering. I called about a half dozen Auto Shops trying to get someone to look at it, provide an estimate, and give me an approximate time frame to fix it. Everyone was days if not weeks out to even look at it. These guys got it in and began working on it within two hours of my phone call. It only took 2.5 days to get it back and that was on les Schwab not Quality Auto. The kept me informed on the process every step of the way, and gave sound advice. One thing that generally irritates me about mechanics is they are unfriendly and condescending. I found it refreshing to be treated with patience, and dignity. Any time you go to a mechanic it will be stressful and expensive so why go where they are rude and don't appreciate your business? Quality automotive is by far the best experience I've ever had with a car mechanic. I will take every vehicle I buy here and only here from now on. Take this review as proof that when a business treats people right they tend to return.

They were friendly and got working on my car as soon as I showed up. They were quick and efficient. Had my water pump replaced and my belts changed in approx 2 hrs. Great place to take your vehicle. I will be making this place my go to for all my cars needs.

Awesome!! I can’t Thank Steve enough for getting my car back on the road. I have a Classic BMW that no one else even German Car specialist would touch. Steve asked me the right questions over the phone and determined to give it a shot. Brought it in the next day. Car is in great shape but needed Rear Brakes and Control Arms replaced. He even let me have a peak while the car was on the lift to see for my self. I went ahead and gave him the okay. Due to the age of the vehicle parts had to be ordered, took a few days but as soon as it came in they got it done on the same day! All in all my car got Brakes, Control Arms, Oil Change and tune up. My 36 year old car now drives like new For a Great price!! Also Awesome Customer Service and showroom is a Plus!!

Our cars and campervan have been maintained by Steve and Ryan for more than a decade. He provides accurate quotes and fast, reliable, honest service. They are opened 7:30 – 4 Monday thru Thursday and are almost always able to provide same day service. We rely on them for brakes, oil, suspension, timing belts and transmission work. Highly recommend.
