These guys were great. They made sure to keep me updated on what needed to be done to my car before they went forward with anything. They even compared the price of the part and told me upfront how much it would cost (needed a new catalytic converter). They also explained to me what damage would be done to my car if I did not get the problem fixed. Very happy with the work that these guys did.

Excellent work, excellent pricing and fantastic customer service! Support local family run shops, these guys worked through a very difficult repair job on my 2013 Ram. They let me know the issues and got them fixed really quickly. Then called me after I picked up my vehicle to make sure I was happy and the truck wad was driving well, thank you for the great service, I'll be back!

Tim and Peter are incredible! I was in a tough spot and needed some work done before I went out of town for military duty. They not only told me they would have it right before I left, they gave me a ride home! That level of service just doesn’t exist anymore. I went there after wing told they were the best transmission shop in town. Best recommendation I’ve ever had! They even made a few recommendations and it has really paid off. I appreciate their honesty, have been back a few times, even for non-transmission work, and will be back again. I have continued to spread the word that Quality Automotive is the best in town. Give them a call!

Quality has done a transmission rebuild for us on our 06 Chevy Colorado, as well as a bunch of other work and has done several repairs on our 06 Toyota Sienna and in all cases, they were very accommodating and got us in quickly. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of work was great. I felt as though they were proactive and thorough without taking advantage of us. Our Vehicles still run as great as they did the day we bought them. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for an honest and affordable experience.

Was visiting my mom in rehab after she broke her hip. The day before I was to Leave back to Massachusetts my Jeep started leaking fluid. Thought it was transmission fluid. Called on a Sunday and Pete answered the phone. I had my Jeep towed to his establishment. They diagnosed my issue which was my radiator and fixed it that day. They squeezed me in and was on my way later in the day. When I arrived home around 9pm received a call from Tim, Pete’s dad to check in to see if the Jeep was running okay. Such a nice touch! What a great experience and reasonable. Glad I decided to have my Jeep towed there instead of a dealership. 5 thumbs up!

After paying $1940 for a transmission rebuild that only made it 1149 miles. I dropped off the transmission today on my lunch to have it diagnosed for a warranty. Called about 4 hours later from a strange number from a guy in a frantic demanding I come back to the shop before 5. So I leave work early to go back and get escorted back to the bench where my transmission was. Immediately Tim was being aggressive and blaming anything but faulty parts. According to a Reddit post as he showed me a screenshot of how he got his diagnosis. When asked if Reddit was a reliable source. He got visibly upset and raised his voice. When I asked him why he is getting aggressive he started blaming the shop noise as to why So I asked if anything was reusable or under warranty. And how much it would cost to have it rebuilt. When he proceeded to yell at me that he is not responsible for any of the damages. So I asked him kindly to package everything up as he was getting aggressive and I would go else where. As an expert transmission builder should not be using Reddit as a source to weasel their way out of any responsibility.

I had my truck towed to this business on 3/2. I still don’t know what has to be fixed on it. I use to be able to speak to someone who kept giving me the run around. Now, no one answers the phone. Guess I’ll have to make a trip to this fine establishment personally. Very disappointing and to see that the reviews are top tier, which is a part of the reason why I chose this place to get my vehicle fixed at, means that someone is lying or they fell off drastically.

Was told an estimate of roughly $300 for a brake job where I supplied the parts...they did not have certain tools to do the job so charged me time for them searching and retrieving the part...then they got the car stuck in service mode and charged me time for them to mess with it...all said and done they told me it was $670 and I couldn't get my car back until I paid that about.....they did not give me a heads up on the price increase as I kept asking the total...I would have never had them work on my car they just make up stuff to get more money ...trim was damaged when I got it back and car smelled like cigarette smoke...when I went to pay for it they told me cash only...these people are miserable fools...Would never take a vehicle here again..they don't even deserve 1 star...this place is a joke

My family and I were finishing up our vacation and on our way home to Chicago when our transmission completely blew out while towing our large camper. We called Quality Automotive and Transmission, and Tim immediately got a tow truck for our truck and personally towed our camper with his own vehicle. Once we got to the shop, Tim let us hook up our camper using the electricity and water from the shop, saving us from having to get a hotel room. Tim and his son completely rebuilt our transmission within a day of arriving at the shop. We were able to hook up the camper with our newly repaired truck and tow it back to Chicago without issue. We can't thank Tim, his son, and their team enough!

Explained the warranty process and was absolutely correct about everything. He took the time and answered our questions, updated us (most of the time before the warranty company did), and advocated on our behalf, with the warranty company when the transmission they sent was unacceptable. Quality Automotive and Transmission did a spectacular job on the installation, programming, and calibration of the transmission. They provided photos of some other mechanical issue and we decided to have them repaired by QA&T as well. Outstanding customer service, workmanship and communication. Highly Recommend if you need work done on a vehicle, especially if you are using a warranty.

The transmission went on my 1999 F-250 and after calling around I had it towed to Quality Transmission. Pete and his team rebuilt the transmission and added some tasteful upgrades. The communication was great and Pete was very transparent through the entire process. It was a big repair with a lot of stress involved but dealing with the folks at Quality Transmission made the process go smoothly. If you end up in the unfortunate situation of needing transmission work I would recommend this team to anyone. They are extremely knowledgeable and absolute professionals. Thanks guys for getting my truck back on the road!! Don’t bring AMEX though
