I have been taking my Hummer H2 and my daughter's BMW 318i to Ryan at R.E.A. Automotive for years now, and I cannot say enough good things about both Ryan and his business R.E.A. Automotive. Ryan has every possible ASE Auto Mechanic Certification (there are currently 8 of them!) and it is evident from his vast knowledge of every potential problem or issue that may arise - and the best solution to every issue, especially as the vehicles get older. I found Ryan and R.E.A. years ago when some stereo work was done on my Hummer, accidentally resulting in the frying of my body control module. Unfortunately, since the manufacturer stopped making the Hummer H2 many years ago, it was impossible to find a new body control module anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. Although the stereo shop found a used module and replaced the destroyed module with the used one, the module they installed was useless in my Hummer because of years of performance work I had done, including installation of a supercharger and other performance enhancements. Without a properly functioning body control module, my Hummer essentially became a 6400 pound paper weight! After extensive searching for a solution or someone who knew what to do, Ryan and R.E.A. Automotive came to the rescue. Ryan knew how to reprogram the used body control module so that it was tuned properly for all of the performance enhancements on my Hummer, and I was back in business - to my great relief! Since that day, Ryan and his team have continued to take care of all of our vehicles with amazing skill, honesty, knowledge, fair pricing, and absolute professionalism. Finding a mechanic like Ryan is like finding a gold nugget in a dump-truck full of coal. I absolutely recommend Ryan and his entire team at R.E.A. Automotive without any reservations!

Man where do I even start, I've gone to REA automotive for about 3 years now because they have had the best prices near me. Unfortunately on Thursday the 29th they disappointed me greatly. I came to do a 70k service with them, and get all 5 of my tires rotated. With the addition of checking my rear tail light and license plate light that went out driving through a puddle. I drop off at 8:30 Am and pick up 4:30 Same day, an all day service. They notify me that 1. They can't get my 5th tire off due to my bolts being seized or possible stripped, they recommended snapping them off and replacing the studs with new ones and of course I would eat the cost. 2. They told me they could not fix my rear tail lights because the "car was too new" and they don't have the wire digram for the car and I quote "we usually don't get them until after 4 years the car is produced." Here's the problem, I come home Spray some WD40 on the tire for 5 minutes and I take off the tire myself in less that 5 minutes. Okay no big deal. Mind you I am no mechanic at all. Out of shear curiosity, I google what could cause my rear tail lights to go out the No. 1 thing on Google to come up was to check the Fuse. I myself opened the the fuse panel and bought a $4 dollar part from O'Rileys and replaced the fuse with absolutely no tools at all and guess what. The rear lights worked! Obviously I'm frustrated, because I could have gone to Subaru and been charged their $200 an hour shop rate. I went to the shop today on Friday August 30th at 8:30Am letting them know I got the tire off and I asked if they could finish my tire rotation that I was charged for. Gentlemen said they were no lifts available at the moment, and couldn't give me a time for me to do it, you would think a 5 minute job with a returning customer that recommends their shop to everyone would have the slightest priority. Maybe I just had a long day at work and I might delte this but I'm sorry Ryan but this is one of those things that the trust has been completely broken between client and owner, I wouldn't be able to take my car their without thinking what you or your staff could not be doing just out of laziness. My girlfriend and I will be going elsewhere from now on. I appreciate all the other services you've been able to complete.

I have to say this is by far the best mechanic that I’ve ever dealt with! Staff is professional and nice, and Ryan the owner really took care of me I have a Yukon that had an electrical problem amongst some other issues and I had taken this truck to 2 other shops one where it was there for almost 7 months and I have never been so frustrated and a friend recommended Ryan at REA Automotive and I was so impressed with how he quickly he diagnosed the problems then fixed them HANDS DOWN the best mechanic I’ve ever used! A lot of shops advertise “specialist” but they are not! Ryan is a specialist and really did an amazing job! I will only go to him from here on! 5 STARS ⭐️ Highly recommend checking them out!!!!!

Ryan is one of the best mechanics I have had! I can honestly say that he is the most honest and helpful person that has worked on my car yet. I had been going to another mechanic that had me put in over $2000 going to them every month for four months when Ryan found the root of the problem, fixed it and haven't seen him since for an engine problem. The other time I had a nail in my car and went to the closest tire place near me and they told me I had to wait 2 hours till they could get to me so I called Ryan up and told him about my predicament and he told me he could fix it in ten minutes. He is a really great guy and if you are looking for a regular mechanic for your car, he is the person to go too.

I was going through a different company that would never call me back, had no knowledge and turned a three week project into 3 months. I contacted Ryan and he was very knowledgeable, told me exactly what I needed to get done to finish my motor swap. I took it in for Ryan to tune. He called me later that day and said it was all done. I couldn't be happier with the service provided. Ryan was very knowledgeable, very responsive, and very affordable. I had the best experience at REA. Super friendly, honest, and transparent with the price. I came in on a whim, I was dropping off my friend to pick up her car, and figured I’d go in and ask for a quote on some work I needed done. Maddy the receptionist is so friendly and took all my info. Detailed, honest, quality, fair, and efficient are a few words to describe my experience at R.E.A Auto & Tuning. I had my Jeep at the dealership and was close to approving the estimate. My husband suggested I get a second opinion. R.E.A was recommended to me by a friend. Thank goodness I listened! Brian reviewed a video sent to me by the dealership for my Jeep detailing their findings and recommendations. "We know these vehicles so well that I know you need a new evaporator," the dealership mechanic said. Brian at R.E.A told me they have to do a dye test to confirm a leak, yet the dealership never did this. Their mechanic went on a hunch, and from "knowing these vehicles so well." I picked up my Jeep and brought it to Brian at R.E.A. He did a thorough diagnostic and said there was no leak. Freon is all it needed! Brian saved me unnecessary work and a few thousand dollars. It's so cliche to say but, this is another automotive shop that would rather screw over a customer than fix the problem. My truck was misfiring on cylinder 4. The shop told me my only option was to pull the engine and install a remanufactured replacement to the tune of over 13,000. In reality all that had to be done was pull the head off cylinder 4 and clean the lifter and put it back. Now it's back running on all 8 cylinders. You better do the work yourself because if you take it to a repair shop they're just going to tell you to do whatever makes them the most money.

I can't thank Ryan and the boys over at REA Automotive enough. I brought my truck there to have both my engine and transmission tuned. They got it done right and some extra bits in a very short period of time. I'm very pleased with how my truck runs. Highly recommended. Spent over 5k on a different mechanic trying to get rid of some wheel vibration. By the end of it, i ended up doing the whole front end and still ddnt resolve the issue. So i decided to go elsewhere. Brought my car into R.E.A and was diagnosed the cv axles. Well ive done the cv axles twice with the last mechanic. Went ahead and got it done. Got my car back the next day and the issue was finally resolved. Problem, last mechanic used autozone parts. R.E.A used OEM parts which are more expensive but worth it. Adding the time and money I spent with the last mechanic, all I can do is shake my head. Thank you to Brian for helping me out and communicating throughout the repair. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends

We drove 1500 miles from northern Mchigan to spend 2 months in the warm weather. I thought the brakes were making a slight grinding noise but my wife didn't notice it. I asked for an estimate over the phone and was told about $1200 and took my car in. They said the front brakes were about 50% and the rear were 100% but the alignment was off. We knew that because we just got 4 new Michelin tires in MI for $1400. Belle Tire who has many locations in MI said they couldn't align the tires and something, they didn't know what, might be bent. REA aligned the front end and now the car is driving great for $190 when we expected to pay $1200+. I've used the same repair place in northern MI for 30 years and Belle Tire for 20 years and I trust REA more than those 2 places. THEY ARE THE MOST HONEST CAR REPAIR SHOP I'VE USED IN THE LAST 30 YEARS!!
