Amazing ! couldnt ask for a better experience , i was kept up to date on my vehicles progress , they were absolutely straight up with me and the pricing was honest. they replaced my water pump , and Radiator They also installed A new thermostat, Did the standard oil change air filter and made sure my vehicle was safe for me . I go here to get my emissions test done every year. All of the guys that I've worked with there have been really nice and very helpful. The guy I worked with most recently was very, very helpful. I had just gotten a new catalytic converter put in and I drove it for about 70 miles after clearing the code. I thought it was enough, but it turns out it wasn't. He helped me get a temporary license plate and let me know that it is better to drive the car for a week or two after clearing a code. I would definitely recommend going here for anything just because the guys there are so great. ***UPDATE*** 7/19-23 I'm pleased to say that nothing here has changed. They have the same great people working there. Especially the guy who takes cate of the emissions. As always he got me in and out in a matter of, maybe, 5 minutes. All is as I I've come to expect every year. Thanks guys!

Racine Auto Specialist Inc. So basically, I dropped off my vehicle had no oil pressure therefore had them replaced the oil pan and O-ring that’s what I asked them to replace $1000 which did bring up the oil pressure Which did bring my oil pressure back up also asked for alignment which the steering wheel should be placed centered it was a little to the right the boss man did fix it they told me I needed a engine They quoted me on an engine at $6000 a used engine then also quoted me on another device a $8000 brand new motor 20-year-old vehicle It’s a clean vehicle from down south so it might be worth putting an engine down the road they do do good work will definitely use them again

Quick, honest, did not try to upsell on anything. I asked them to give their opinion on the belts and brakes and they gave me an honest assessment. Could have said they needed to be replaced but they did not push me. Gave their opinion and let me decide. I will be back for sure. The number of folks there tells you something.

I had over 5k of worked needed on my vehicle and the guy on the phone was just silent. Weirdest thing ever. I'm not trusting someone who cannot speak to their customers. This call happened on July 2nd 2025 at noon. I will glady give my money to someone else. Maybe get a customer service manager, someone who can talk to a customer. Crazy concept I know, but you quite literally lost 3 to 4k in labor!!! Hope the owner sees this and takes action. Otherwise this shop is for the birds.

Racine Auto Specialists had helped me from the beginning when I had a check gage light on my 96 Suburban. With this light unfortunately not being an easy fix, the engine was then replaced. In the process, there were understanding complications due to the complexity of the job as in finding the best parts for an older vehicle. However, the job was completed and the vehicle brought back from the dead.

Very thorough and honest. Had concerns about the brakes and thought they needed to be replaced. The tech checked them out and found nothing wrong except a little rust that was easy to correct and a small amount of air in the brake line. No charge for all that and was very reasonable to install new OEM headlights on our 2013 civic. Will be using Racine Auto Specialist in the future as our go to shop.
