They’re price gougers. Dropped off my 1hr job at 9am per my appointment, no call back until 5pm. Just changing differential oil, but okay maybe they’re busy. Go to pay, (quoted $150 OTD over the phone), and the tall-ish old guy with the glasses says over $250. The techs didn’t even install gaskets or clean off the diff housings! Doubt they cleaned the mating surfaces either, I just hope the diffs at least got filled up and sealed well… no idea if they would stand behind their work if I find them leaking this weekend. OEM gear oil + 2 gaskets costs less than $50, so what, their labor rate is $200/hr? Told him my quote and he brought it back “down” to $150. What’s does “custom labor rate” mean on the receipt? It means they’ll gouge you worse if you don’t know normal material and labor costs. I get I’m paying for convenience, but this place stinks of bad business practices in the front and back of house. Buyer beware.

We were so impressed on the work they did on my 2001 Lincoln. Thankful they were able to fix the problem with just an adjustment. I had taken my car to the dealership about the problem I was having starting my car and they said they couldn't find any problem. The other day I couldn't get it started, after trying to move the gear shift further to park I finally did. Well, I refused to drive my car until it was fixed. Ram Transmission only had it one day and it was fixed. Thank you so very much for your quick service and being a company I can depend on.

After getting some scary bids from other mechanics (and some suspiciously quick inspections) we went to Ram thanks to a referral. So glad we did. It was clear they actually took the time to properly inspect the issues with the transmission on our '05 Jeep Grand Cherokee and gave us a very reasonable quote. We loved the fact that they're locally owned and have been in business for a long time. You can see why. They provided great service, and fair prices. I also love that they warranty their work AND have a follow up inspection to make sure everything is working as it should. This is where I would go if you need transmission work.

Words cannot describe how amazing this place and it's people are. My sister and brother in law recommend Tony as he did their transmission back in 2022 and he did amazing work on their Jeep. I bought a used 02 Jeep Wrangler few years back and knew from the get go that the transmission needed to be rebuilt/replaced sooner than later. The time had come and I took it here and they had very fast turnaround for the rebuilt transmission they put in the took good care of me and my car. They have good prices for the labor and material for the entire rebuild. They were very transparent from the beginning of the cost once looking at my car and detailing on what they recommend for the work. They were amazing from the get go when we first walked in as new customers not knowing we came from a recommendation and now will have consistent business from my friends and other family.

Joe was honest and very candid in the best way. He and his team diagnosed the problem quickly and could have racked up a large bill that I would have been on the hook for because he had experience trying to submit a warranty claim that would have been denied in this situation. I hope I never see them again, as that would mean my truck has more tranny issues, but if I have to go back, I would be thrilled to do so. I am beyond impressed with Ram Transmissions. Admittedly, I was not the easiest customer to deal with. I came in for an evaluation on my Ram 2500, as the transmission was starting to give me trouble. Since I rely on my truck for work, I was in a time crunch. To make matters worse, I had issues with my credit card and had to request a rushed replacement. Unfortunately, the bank couldn’t provide me with any interim details to share with the shop. Throughout this stressful situation, Joe remained incredibly patient and professional. He went above and beyond to assist me, despite the challenges. In the end, I got my truck back just in time, and the difference in performance is astounding—it runs like new! I can’t say enough good things about Joe and his team at Ram Transmissions. Joe, if you see this—thank you for everything!

Will not trust ram transmission with my car again. I had it in for a simple diagnostic for my transmission, had a code saying i had a sensor going out. dropped it off 4:30 on a thursday, Joe said he’d have an answer for me early the next morning. Ram finally called me at 5 pm the next day way later than he said he’d have a answer, telling me my pump was going out so i had to replace my whole transmission… 5 grand they said. They lied to my face said they’d treat me right, then turned it around and tried to get money out of me. Now 4 weeks after the diagnostic i found out it was not my transmission, it was a simple 40$ job to replace my spark plugs and i now have no more issues with my car. Ram will not be getting 5 grand out of me for a new transmission i don’t even need.

Come for the great service, return for Luna, the cutest puppy dog receptionist. Really appreciate the team at Ram Transmissions. They provided great customer service right from entering through the front door. Our issue ended up being a low effort fix, but another shop quoted us to replace the transmission entirely. The team at Ram treated us kindly and patiently, took our car despite a busy week on their end, identified the issue, and fixed it for a way, way, way lower cost than a new transmission would cost. This team is spectacular and I'm so glad we found them for a second opinion.

My 2014 Ford escape has been in there shop for a month. I've been giving the runaround by Joe telling me that it's a part that they're waiting on then he tells me that the warranty is not covering all of the labor I don't know what to do I'm lost and frustrated. They replace the first transmission and it is under warranty.

My transmission went out in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Wednesday of last week. I called around to many places and most just wanted to replace it for $7k-$8k. 😬 When I called Rams Transmission, Joe answered all my questions and I instantly felt comfortable. If I could leave a zero star rating I 100% would. Worst automotive place! They are dishonest, rude and VERY unprofessional! We have taken a truck in for transmission repair not only did they lie about the work and warranty they stole upgraded parts that were on the vehicle! Did a poor job on the “repairs” and pretty much doubled the price. If your looking to be ripped off, taken advantage of, treated poorly and then still have to take it elsewhere where for an actual repair this is the place for you but I would suggest just save the hassle and money!
