An excellent experience. I have a unique transmission that takes a specific type of oil. Mark was able to find all the parts and oil needed to service my vehicle. They ordered everything ahead of time and called me for an appointment schedule. I also had them drive the vehicle to assure it didn’t have and in know issues. A free of charge service. Very good experience.

I was recommended from my special service man JOHNNY at Cristian brother's on 136th to go to AMMCO. I grew up knowing AMMCO were rip offs . We'll JOHNNY assured me things have changed. Well I had to check them out because my FIAT transmission was not working right. After talking with AMMCO a few times on the phone with Mark I felt comfortable to give them a shot. They had to deal with my lifetime warranty to cover the cost. They assured me I wasn't going to be charged to check out my vehicle. When AMMCO Joel gave me a ride home I was explaining my AC was not blowing cold enough. Joel said he also new about AC & would look it over. Well it turns out my tranmission would not repeat the issue I was having. So rather lying to warranty company to get work & fraudulently make something up. Mark was honest with me. He said he had to have diagnosis before he would break down the tranmission so it would be covered. He said to bring it back if the issue happens again. For the AC I won't be sweating this summer Joel was able to determine it needed to be recharged with FREON. I felt comfortable & gave them my authorization for work to be done. The repair was a big one — around $2,800 — but the team, especially Mark, treated me with honesty, transparency, and respect throughout the entire process. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and didn’t try to push unnecessary services. The work was done right, and the car runs great. Mark & Team @ AAMCO was fantastic. Service was always kind, courteous & provided responses timely. We expected our 2014 Ford Fusion was having transmission issues & after AAMCO diagnosed it they found it wasn’t holding pressure in 3rd gear needing rebuilt transmission. They had it completed in a week as stated & what a major difference it made. The $7k was worth it making the car come back to life & the power back as it shifts through gears seamlessly to get it up to speed quickly. This is the 2nd time we have used them for transmission service and has been great. Will always use them when comes to transmission needs.

Terrible!!! I Highly Unrecommend!!!! They do not honor a warranty or let you talk to the owner, Joe. Our truck was missed diagnosed!! We had to go to a different garage to get the problem fixed!! Active Transmission in Arvada fixed a problem under warranty with Aamco due to rejecting the diagnosis and trying to charge for something other than parts under.warranty. We will never know if the work was done the 1st time or if it even was needed when it "was" done. Check out reviews 1st before ever taking your business and precious hard earned money to any Company, Mechanics ESPECIALLY!!! I wanted to add we was also quoted $10,100.00 more for a new engine we didn't need after a 2nd mechanic, Active Transmmission, inspected. It was fine!!! We 1st went in for a oil pump but that was never done they did a transmission kit, ect. They said to get to the pump they had to remove the transmission. This began June 9, 2025 and today is Oct. 31, 2025 and I still have to pursue compensations back from Aamco. We paid for something that was never fixed or repaired properly.

I was recommended to come here for a transmission leak that had just started. Mark was able to get me in immediately and diagnose it within about an hour and a half. I appreciated the good communication and giving me a fair quote with no surprises. Mark was incredibly helpful, honest and informative. This location was able to take my car, fix it, and have it back in my driveway before the shop closest to me could even get me in to look at it! Talk about quick service! I had to have my transmission replaced and my radiator in my 2021 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve. Mark & Joe were very delightful to work with, they kept me always updated on the status of my repairs, and I was very pleased with the work they did!!! The transmission and radiator damage were processed through my auto insurance, and the insurance was not going to pay the full claim at first when I submitted the claim, but after Joe (the transmission guy) spoke with my insurance company, they went ahead and approved the entire claim and paid for everything, with the exception of my deductible. Took my car here with an air conditioning problem. They told me the AC evaporator was leaking and it needed to be replaced. The cost was 2,100 to replace the evaporator and refill the system. Within a week the system was empty again and not cooling. I took it back to them, they looked at it and said it was a pinched gasket that they were responsible for. They “fixed” it and refilled the system. A week later my AC system is empty again and not cooling. I decide to do some investigating myself and found a leak underneath the car, literally all I did was look under the car and could see the leak. This leads me to believe that they never found the actual problem charged me for the most expensive part they could and never tested the system for leaks before they returned it to me. At this point I refuse to take it back to them and will never recommend anybody to take their car there.

Bought a 2016 392 Challenger with a limited warranty and immediately had transmission issues. The dealer recommended this place as in network and AAMCO took care of everything for me start to finish. I requested that they let me know the condition of the clutch so I could get it done if it needed it and rather than try to sell me a new one either way since the clutch would’ve been out of pocket for me they were honest and told me it looked good. They had the work done within a very reasonable time frame and it looks and feels like they did quality work.
