To begin with I am a skeptic when taking my vehicle to a mechanic. RAS auto & cycle is top notch. I traveled through a snow storm and needed an inspection. They were kind enough to wash the car and clear the ice and snow. They could have turned me away. They did a state inspection; it passed. This shop has integrity, and won’t swindle the customer. Outstanding service. My car broke down Wednesday night and I needed it back by Thursday to drive to work on Friday. As a gov’t worker you can’t miss any days. The owner of RAS had someone to tow my car to the shop on Thursday morning and replaced the starter that evening. If I had called the dealership it would have taken two weeks for an appointment and cost three times more. RAS Automative is the place to receive great customer service and reasonable repair cost.

I wouldn't bring my beater here let alone something I cared about. They had my car over a week before they came to the diagnosis it took me an afternoon to make, changed a spark plug, and when I picked my vehicle up it was throwing a code for the evap system because they never plugged my purge valve back in after replacing the one spark plug I authorized. Took my vehicle to aamoco, got a diagnosis within 2hrs and had my car back within the week cheaper and running better than ever.

My Jeep Wrangler suddenly went dead and the anti-theft system activated. My initial investigation made me think the anti-theft system was the problem. The local Jeep dealer had no appointments for like four weeks, which was not going to work as the vehicle was now not useful and I needed it. I found RAS they diagnosed the problem got the part, the TIPM failed, fixed the issue and two other issues from the TIPM failure, horns failed as well as the windshield washer pump - probably from the anti-theft system activating as I tried to find a work around. All at a reasonable price, the TIPM isn't cheap though.

Didn’t like the service at all. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! They charged my AC up and put the dye in it to see if it had leaks. Was told that if it was a problem they would recharge once the problem was fixed. Get there they find the leak want to charge me 1,380 to fix it way to much. I took my truck to another shop got parts and labor done for 450.00. Disappointed in this shop.

Took my car there because the motor spun the main bearing on the way home from getting my wrap completed. The motor was on backorder by Kia so no telling when it was going to make it in. Aaron the manager was constantly communicating throughout the process. I actually sourced a motor myself and was going to get it delivered but got the call from Aaron at 10am that the motor was in. Got my car on the lift that day and got to work. They also found the source of a clunking noise and fixed that on the fly as well as finding my driver's side cv axle about to go. Aaron wouldn't let me just take his word for it, told me to swing by so he could show me what was going on. All in all sway bar links were tightened, cv axle was replaced and new motor was in within 3 days just because they had to wait for the axle to be delivered. Great communication, car is running strong and good quality work. I don't trust a lot of shops but they have definitely earned my business in the future.
