Rays is wonderful. I did have one instance where I felt unsure with them and they were more than willing to make it right and explain things to me. I do not trust my car with anyone else. They are honest and if the price is higher it’s worth it to get the correct problem fixed the first time. I first started coming to rays because another machanic had told me a car needed a new fuel pump, rays said it did not just needed a good cleaning and worked great after they did it! Now I’ve been coming for years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon! Thanks to everyone at rays for doing such a great job! I appreciate you all and apologize again for being difficult that one time!

I took my vehicle here for an issue with it going into limp mode. They told me either my tipm was bad or my PCM. Powertrain control module. We had to buy a used PCM due to parts shortage. They installed it...we Got the van back after 3 days it started acting up again.And that wasn't the problem. Took it back and then I bought a brand new tipm for 600$. They installed it....only to find out it was damaged. Every day I called and asked if they figured out the issue and just got the run around. Their mechanics were unable to diagnosis a simple issue. They said we're doing more testing. Our vehicle was here for over 10 days. Finally I went and picked up my vehicle. With it not being fixed. Every time I brought my van back. They wanted to charge me more money when they couldn't figure out the problem in the first place. It was here for a total of 3 times. I took it over to Matt's Auto and in 2 hours they figured out the issue. It was a faulty tipm.. All coming from a loose relay. Customer service is horrible. However they did tell me to never come back again. Which I think is very unprofessional.

Amazing customer service! They do check backs via email or text after services are complete making sure that everything went well and I feel like they really do care. When I've had to take my car in before work Ray himself took the time to make sure I made it to work on time while my car was still getting work done. I live in west Fargo and anytime I need work done I'd rather drive the 20 minutes to Moorhead than go anywhere else.

I really like going to Ray's for any vehicle issues I have - the staff is always friendly, and I feel the work they do to my vehicle is thorough and good quality. I wouldn't trust any other shops in the F/M area, as they always seem to try to gouge more money out of you. Ray's seems very honest and hard-working. They provide a loaner vehicle if needed and available, and after 3 oil changes the 4th one is free.

I was recommended to go to Ray from my car's previous owner and won't go to anyone else! This team is very good at being upfront and honest with any problems they may find while doing a simple service. Have always been efficient with changing my oil and often get me in earlier than my original appointment time so that I can go about me day. It is also nice to get follow up messages from them asking if everything is still in working order in the weeks following the service they do. Definitely recommend!!

We were half way through a 6 week travel adventure when our truck AC failed. Temps in the high 90's and traveling with 2 dogs, receipt for disaster. Made many phone calls but noone could take us on short notice. Ray's was the exception. So friendly and professional. No upsale pressure, found the problem immediately and had is up and running in no time. Even took care of a much needed oil change. Cost was better than reasonable. Thank you Rays!! Highly recommend these dine folks!!

I was driving with the kids, and needed to get a flat tire fixed. I came in this morning, but they said with the cars already there today, they wouldn't be able to get to mine until the afternoon. But since they were decent, kind human beings, they actually referred me to a different shop that might have a shorter line. They cared more about me and my family getting our vehicle fixed in a timely manner, than they did about getting our money. You don't find people like that at every auto shop! I'll definitely be going back in the future.

I was having problems with my Honda Civic and the Honda dealership couldn't figure it out. I was frustrated with Honda. I found Ray's Auto Repair when I happened to drive by a few days later. I stopped and made an appointment. They figured out the problem within a day. I was relieved! They even fixed two leaks as well. I'm very happy with their service. The force is strong with this crue. Me and my wife first trip to rays we were skeptical of mechanics due to our bad experience with a shop here in moorhead. But instantly when we talked to Chad he made us feel welcome and he listened closely to the details in which we provided him about the problem. Well they got us in and diagnosed the truck and they found the problem. Not only did they described to us in details our problem. But through out a couple of options. They even went our there way to make sure they keep it closer into our budget range. But also that it's an efficient job. We also visited rays a couple more times after with different situations. But each time they was spot on. And I can tell u one thing. Our truck drive like new. I didn't feel like they was trying to scam more money from us. I felt they were genuinely interested in helping us get our truck back and running like new. Thanks rays... I recommend this place 100%....FACTS

Brought my 08 trail blazer in for a po171 code the shop I usually go to looked at it 6 different times and simply could not find the issue. so I decided to call somewhere else and that’s where I found this place. And they were able to find all of the issues and communicated very well with me as for the issues that they found and how long it would take to fix it. It did take a lot longer than I would have liked to get my car back but at the same time I understand why it took so long. Just so thankful they found and fixed the issues highly recommend and will be coming back in the future.
