James and Maddie did an excellent job pre-inspecting a used car we were going to buy. Their team identified some issues that we were able to use to negotiate a fair price. They then repaired the car quickly and now my daughter has a good reliable car. Thank to James and the entire team.

I finally found an auto shop I can trust! "Reliable" truly defines them. I was about to get a new vehicle because of issues another shop caused, and Reliable Auto fixed the problems at a very reasonable price, saving me loads of money! I've taken my car to them several times and I haven't had a bad experience yet. Honest, down-to-earth owner who sets himself apart by providing fast, quality service and offering solid advice on your vehicle concerns. Pretty sure they accept drop-ins and offer payment plans too (don't quote me), which is a godsend to people who are already struggling and met with the extra burden of vehicle issues. Good people doing good work!

These people are total scams, I used to go to them all the time until I found out that the misrepresent problem with your car to get extra money. I found out from a personal mechanic after they tried to tell me i need a new motor. My mechanic came to their shop and took 2 mins before they found out the real problem. And this goes back to plenty other times they said something else was wrong with my car and I knew something was up. Trust me when I tell yall, they are not to be trusted.

I took my Ford escape there, based on the recommendation of friends. 6 months later the axle they replaced was making a grinding noise. I took it to a professional mechanic to find out that they failed to tighten the spindle nut and the hub had been grinding away at the axle for 6 months. I was lucky that the wheel didn't fall off. I'll never use this place again.

I'm leaving this review in regards to a friend going to this location for a hood latch issue was charged $160 some odd dollars for the hood latch and then told it would be $600 and some odd dollars for labor it they went to another reputable mechanic shop in town cost $34. They sprayed some lube on the hood latch boy. If this place don't act like they see a woman coming from a million miles away, I can't someone who operates a business like that trying to take advantage of people.

*Please listen up, DO NOT TRUST these people at reliable auto. I used to get my car fixed all the time with them and recently I discovered from a personal mechanic catching them, that they will tell you something is wrong with your car and it's not. Apparently they do this all the time to get money from people but trust me when I tell yall dont go to them. If they tell you that something is wrong with your car that wasn't wrong before, get a second opinion. I really thought the owner James was trustworthy but apparently he is just like all the other sheisty mechanics. Seriously, DO NOT TRUST RELIABLE AUTO.

Edit…. My original review I found reliable helpful and decent prices but after what happened today I won’t be back. I called a week ago because I felt like I might need brake pads soon. I asked for prices and was told they couldn’t be for sure without looking but just pads would be around $179. So I made an appointment for today and after about an hour I was told that they were ok but would need pads soon. My quote was over $800. I was extremely surprised and felt like that was a little much. They said that included rotors but I said I don’t need rotors and he told me they do the rotors or the warranty wasn’t any good. I said no and after removing rotors he still wanted well over $400. I said no. I was prepared for $179. I thought maybe I was crazy so I called brakes plus and asked about their brakes and for economy package pads/ no rotors it was $139 for the front or the back. $280 total for what you want well over $400 for. So how does a chain store that is known for high prices so much cheaper than a shop who claims to have fair reasonable prices. I’m not dumb. I know how long it takes to change brakes and what brakes cost. You are giving yourself a huge tip. I won’t be back and I will no longer recommend you. Everyone should be quoting the same prices. I felt like they thought I was just a dumb woman who would be cool with whatever they wanted to charge. There is a huge leap from $179 to over $800. I needed new pads not a major repair. That being said I have another issue that I should have pointed out before I drove away but chose not to because I was already annoyed. The person who drove my vehicle in and out of the garage bay was extremely dirty. I now have 2 stains on my seat from him and everything he touched was greasy/dirty. His shoes left a dirty shoe/boot impression on the plastic molding. The steering wheel felt gritty. There was zero effort to put a paper mat down on the floor or even the seat when you’re that dirty. I am really upset that I brought my vehicle there.

I have a 2011 Ford fusion and one day I was driving and the belt broke off the engine so I got it towed to the nearest auto place called reliable auto repair. I paid for the service to get my car fixed and they had it fixed the next day on time Customer service. Excellent the owner James he’s awesome and they’re very polite with their customers. Make sure that you know everything they are doing to your vehicle. I want to give them five stars because that’s what they are.

Hands down the best auto repair shop in the game. This was my second time coming. My car started overheating last week and they were able to get me in within a few days. They also stayed almost 45 minutes late to ensure everything was fixed for me in the same day. I will always highly recommend James and the Reliable Auto Maintenance crew for anyone’s car repair needs. Seriously some of the nicest and most hard working mechanics.

I've been heading here for about a year, since Keenan Family was forced out. James has been great taking care of my cars. Generally, they are very quick. I've felt very good about going there, but even better after today. I'll just say this. A few weeks ago, I brought the car in, had a fix done, and a small mistake was made. I finally had time to get over there today, and they made it right as quickly as possible. No dickering, no nothing. I wasn't sure what the issue was, just that something had gotten a little worse since they put the new part in, and they had it in the bay in minutes to check, immediately said "yep, that part we put in isn't in there quite right" and got working on it. I'm really relieved to have the car fixed and I'll happily take it back there. Mistakes happen and a mechanic who handles them gracefully is worth every penny.

Very reasonable prices and they got me back on the road fast. They were easy to talk to and they showed me in pictures what was wrong with my van. They explained everything well. I'll be going back for what ever I'll need in the future.

Took my car in to have new muffler put on and was told it would take 30 minutes to and hour to put on. I planned to go on a trip right after the muffler was but on and I called them after that hour passed and now they say they hope to get it done by the end of the day.

I I've taken my car and my daughter's cars here several times. I have not seen James the owner the last two or three times. I suspect a business has been sold? James was great and I got detailed intro about what was wrong and options I'm fixing it. I haven't gotten the same service from the new owners. And I feel like I am being up sold on things that I don't really need with the new owners In hindsight, I realized the problem was one of communication. After my daughter's car was inspected, I got a text (or maybe an email, I can't remember now), with an itemized list of issues that were found. The first issue was some oil leaking, and hence the suggested invoice listed replacing some gaskets. And here is where the problem arose. The car has 200k+ miles on it. But what does leaking oil mean? Is it 3 drops which is completely common for a car with 200k+ miles on it? Or does it mean there's 4 quarts of oil on the ground and the engine is about to seize? So there is a huge range of what leaking oil could mean, and the suggested invoice didn't give any more info on it. It's analogous to going to the doctor and being told you have cancer. Do I have 5 cancer cells, or has it metastasized and my body is riddled with cancer and I have 3 days to live? Being told only that you have cancer is not helpful. You need more information in order to make a decision. At the time, I did not think to ask the question as to how much oil was leaking, etc. I only saw leaking oil, which is never good,so I went ahead and authorized the gaskets to be replaced. So after thinking about it, I realized that I should take part of the blame for not asking the relevant questions in order to make an informed decision. And likewise, I was not provided enough information to make an informed decision. So the blame should be shared. In the future, I would suggest a more informative report of the issues found. It helps people make a more informed decision. But given people's range of automotive knowledge, the task of providing the right amount of info to people can be quite difficult.

I'm appreciative and thankful to Reliable Auto for "defining" what we knew about our Pump, need of oil change, a new battery, and the check engine light. They diagnosed, set all things mentioned. Mis-fire continued; towed back & more work. Told: "Vehicle has a very good engine & could last another 2-3yrs..." We trust THEIR service! Yet, for the 3rd time, the 2007 SUV Dodge Van Caravan was costly towed back to Reliable Auto 10/2/25 awaiting. Response was...

The best shop in town! Everytime we have ever had an issue with our vehicles this shop, hands down, shows up. They are so fast and charge industry standard rates. They dont try to rip you off like some other shops do. They have always done a great job. Thank you so much for ensuring our vehicles are safe to drive after they leave your lot!
