AMAZING!!! I used Reno's through my road side assistance and Brandon showed up about an hour before estimated time and also continually communicated with me about his ETA. Brandon did a super good job backing my car up into my difficult driveway and was so sweet. I would recommend and use Reno's again.

Been waiting for hours for my tow ... they are aware I have no other vehicle the lady hung up on me and was extremely Rude .... I used their App and their contact number for the driver and couldn’t even get a word out she says the guy is coming ... relax ten mins. That was 2 hours ago !!! Would never use this company again and I’ll spread the word. Terrible for business

I've had my vehicle serviced at Reno's for several years. Always great service, pricing, and quality work. The office staff and Peggy always treat me with respect. I trust Renos with all of my family's vehicles. They never disappoint.

I had a great experience with Renos. I wad in an accident over the summer and I called AAA for a tow. Reno's came to tow the car and suggested I have it towed there. I did then went online and read reviews and gout a little nervous. However they did an excellent job fixing the extensive damage to the car and charged comparable to all the other shops I called. It took a few days longer than expected to get my car back but overall I am very happy with the work and would take my vehicle there again. Everyone was also very friendly and responsive.

Called them for an emergency tow because they are 1.5 miles from my location and they said it would be 90 min. 3+ hours later and they still are not here. They have been saying they will be here in 10 minutes for 2 hours. I wouldn't call them again if they were towing me for free! Edit: 2 years later you respond to this review? I guess this is evidence of the validity of my review.

Reno's is the absolute best as far as a crew of first responders putting your safety first and under standing the importance of having reliable transportation in every move they make to support you in the community that is Hartford, Connecticut. I know a good man when He sees ME and doesn't size me up and figure out how to take advantage and make the most money off of my traumatic event but care and offer anything I could possibly want or need to keep my vessel a float. These individuals are astounding in a kind of genius only people of the trade realize, know, a layman does not understand fully and doesn't have to. These extremely efficient hard working individuals, working smarter not harder every day, are the quintessential in hospitality and customer service. Do not let the truck fool you. These guys are awesome. I would lay down my own life for any one, as the founder did for me, 1999. Thank you Reno's Family.

To start the drivers were well mannered and professional but the women in the office were extremely rude. They called me about an hour after getting towed and said “ummm you didn’t pay my driver”. I explained that I had cash with me there and was never asked for payment so I assumed I’d be billed for it. She then asked me for card info over the phone which I declined and said I had cash already pulled for them. She continued to give me a hard time and sent the driver to me to pick up the cash and then the women in the office overcharged me for the price I had previously been given before my vehicle was towed. Someone needs to teach the office staff some manners in customer service, I do not recommend them at all

I used Reno’s for a long distance tow from CT to FL. My car was received in perfect condition which, at the end of the day, made the hassle of dealing with the towing service worth it. Long distance tows are only handled by the owner, which was a detail I did not realize and find to be an issue until the car was in transit. The owner was traveling for business at the time, and it was difficult to get in touch with him at times. When calling the office, the service representatives were quite rude and were unable to help me locate my car or advise on the delivery date. Throughout the process, I had no insight on where my car was or when it would be received aside from a 3 day window. I was told I would receive a call from the driver when he was 2 hours away. I got a call from the driver when he was 5 hours out, and no call for the 2 hour notice. I received a call when he was 5 minutes away asking for directions. I had to personally direct the driver to my location, even though he was provided with my address and had access to GPS. The car arrived very dirty, but what more can you expect from such a long tow. Overall, the car arrived undamaged and I am very thankful. With my experience, I would not recommend the company or use them again in the future.

AVOID RENO AT ALL COST! They unfortunately are affiliated with AAA but it does NOT mean that they provide the level of professionalism and care to your vehicle. They are spiteful, rude and unprofessional. I had a window door slammed in my face and threats of towing my car to the wrong location which they purposely did and I had to contact AAA for them to fix it. They also cause damage to my vehicle and failed to communicate that something occurred to our vehicle after being on their lot for 2 weeks. Their service department is a joke. They transfer you to them knowing that the service department doesn't show up till 5p or 6p. No communication, very rude, and cost me more money getting my car towed there. AVOID. If you have AAA demand another tow company

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a tow company. Very hard to deal with all around. If you have a rental car out of state for work, you will never be able to get your car back unless the rental company picks it up.

Woman at the front desk was shockingly heartless after I was in a serious car wreck. Maybe take a moment to consider WHY someone is there and that they’ve been through very recent trauma?? Hope she also gets to experience losing everything you own and your dog in one day while moving across states and then getting screamed at about insurance. Try being a human being sometime! Bumped up to three stars for the super nice kid that gave me a ride in the tow truck after the accident.

I have been waiting for nearly 3 hours in the rain for the tow truck to get to my location. I was told it would take 30-60 minutes for them to be here. After an hour and a half, I called back and they said they sent their truck somewhere else first, but would be there in 20-25 minutes. I then called back again after waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes and they said that they cancelled the tow. No one contacted me or anything to advise me that they decided this. To add to this, one of their tow trucks drove by my and I stopped them after waiting for 2 hours and said they were never sent to my location. The rudest and most unprofessional company I have dealt with. UPDATE. Reno’s advised me that AAA cancelled the tow. I then call AAA and they said that absolutely did not happen and the order was still open. So Reno’s lied on top of just not showing up.

My brother in law was having literally the worst day after that only got worse because of the frigid weather and car trouble. We had to get a tow called for his car to bring it to the shop and Reno’s was recommended to us. One of the Sons of the family(yes this is a family business) ends up coming to assist. His name was Jaden, and he was a great assist. He not only helped us with our issue but also diagnosed some other stuff for us, gave some car advice and almost started to operate as a mechanic on wheels. It was truly appreciated. While the car battery was charging I invited Jaden into my Jeep to stay warm along with my brother in law, this is how comfortable I was with the service I was rendered. Truly an all around great business experience. Even though today sucked with the weather and car trouble, the Reno’s team made it better. Thank you guys and I wish you a great 2025. I wish you guys tons of business but hopefully not from me!

Hands down one of the best towing experiences I’ve ever had. The driver(bruce) was professional, punctual, and treated my vehicle with great care. He kept me updated the entire time and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell he takes pride in his work. If you ever need a tow, this is the guy you want showing up. I Highly recommend Bruce! Thanks for the extra favor BTW! 🤟🏾💪🏾💯

Personal Intimidation and Coercion by Company President: When I attempted to address the issues regarding the unnecessary and unauthorized impoundment of my truck and trailer, I was confronted by this President, Mr. Joseph Vassallo. Mr. Vassallo confronted me, a 66-year-old man, in a combative stance with clenched fists, stating, "If you ever talk to my help like that again, we are going to have a problem. This aggressive and threatening behavior, based on an apparent exaggeration by their employee Robbin, demonstrates a severe pattern of hostile and unprofessional conduct. This physical intimidation by the company's President was not an isolated employee error but represents corporate policy and culture emanating from the highest level of your organization. Mr. Vassallo's conduct was designed to, and did, create a hostile environment that prevented me from exercising my legitimate consumer rights to dispute unauthorized charges and demand correction of defective work. This intimidation tactic, combined with the cash-only demand and threats of trespassing and , demonstrates a calculated pattern of suppressing consumer complaints through fear and coercion.

We came here everything was fine we was asked to wait on the side for someone to bring the car short white guy went and said I’ll be back when he starts driving it out the other short chubby Puerto Rican guy who works in the back tell the white guy it’s leaking it has to be towed in a very mean and aggressive way like he could have been polite the other coworker who drives the tow car comes to us and takes over because he notice the way the guy charged all bossy and rudely and he was so polite and kind and helped us out back to the register and even the old lady in the front says after he must have been having a bad day or something now please don’t y’all train and talk to your employees to not mix work and what ever outside issues that’s very unprofessional. We would have definitely understood if they would have explained better and gave a better customer service we don’t work here we don’t know if the car worked fine walked or flyed after the accident (being sarcastic) that was there job to politely let us know they same way we didn’t make a fit or asked for a discount we are aware of policies simply tell the customer with better customer service it’s sad for the business owners .

WORST towing experience ever. It took them over 5 hours to tow my car, just for it to be towed to their yard. Not to the dealership. They were very rude to me over the phone, and tried to blame it on me. When I asked for ETA the morning after, they were short with me and did not even know if my car was on site. It’s unfortunate that triple A uses them, and if you have other towing options then don’t use this one.

Dealing with this company has been challenging- my grandson was in an accident late Thursday night- Hartford police had this company tow the car which was not drive-able to the tow and repair yard. Mind you the form that was given to my grandson had the old address on Franklin Avenue on the form instead of the current address on Hanmer Rd. I showed up to their site to get pictures and was denied-told that I need the “yellow” form from the towing to do so. I was not allowed to see my car. To expedite the process - signed a form giving permission for USAA to be able to tow the car to the repair shop in East Hartford. My insurance adjuster said that we might get some push back to get it to a repair place to get it assessed. She was not lying. Today is the 5th day of trying to get the car to the repair shop. There has been so many inconsistencies between what the police had told me , Katie at Reno’s office and the towing company trying to get my car out of there so they can make an assessment on my car! So now they’ll have to update the invoice to add another day! God willing- it’ll be out of there tomorrow 2/5/2026! The process is still ongoing- unfortunately. I’ll keep you posted…..
