Servicing my car for the first time at this location and the experience has been SIGNIFICANTLY better than other CDJRs. My advisor, Marcelino, has been on top of his communication, updates, and servicing my car, 5⭐️

While the purchase of my vehicle was great at this location, when it started having issues and I needed support, that was when my experience became unpleasant. This service center is not responsive - they returned my calls only when I’d ask a sales rep to walk over to the department and ask them to call me. They didn’t make me feel welcome, didn’t appear to take me seriously/believe that the issues were actually happening, or assure me that the issues would be resolved. Because I was dealing with an intermittent issue, I’ll admit that it was hard to prove - but I spent a lot of time recording videos of each issue. I don’t even think they watched them and told me they wouldn’t accept them as proof anyways. They tried to get my case closed with the uconnect service, claiming my vehicle needed a software update and there was nothing they could do. I decided on a whim to take my Jeep to a different location and I am so glad I did. They were responsive and welcoming. They watched my videos and within a week had found and resolved my stereo issues. I cannot in good faith recommend this service center and would recommended going elsewhere, even if it means taking a little longer of a drive.

CDJR at Renton has been my absolute best experience in 2 year of owning my Jeep. I had several issues outstanding at the CDJR BelleVue depot which recently closed down. I managed to get through to Dee and team at Renton and they have fixed all of my issues, they were amazing at keeping me posted on the progress. I definately enjoy driving my Jeep again, thanks Dee

Never any warranty hassles. They always seem to work me in.I have a difficult schedule yet, they are very accommodating, always done right on time the first time. I’ve been driving a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan since 2006. In September 2024, I purchased a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica with Start/Stop technology from an independent car dealership in Everett, WA. The 2021 technology is extremely different from 2005! Anytime something unexpected happened with the car, I assumed it was my not understanding the technology. About 3 days after driving the car home, I noticed the Start/Stop warning light was on. When I called the Everett dealership, they assured me “everything was fine!” Other things about the car started to concern me so I stopped driving it and started a list for the Everett mechanic. (It turned out that the Everett mechanic had left the week before I bought the car but I didn’t know that. It was about 40 days after purchase before the dealership finally had a new mechanic available to work on my car.) He was able to resolve a couple of problems on my list but the Start/Stop warning light was still on. I live in Renton and about 7 weeks after buying the car, I FINALLY went to Renton Chrysler, where Ryan in the Service Department was able to help me. Several problems with the car were identified – the Start/Stop warning light was on because both batteries needed to be replaced; also the rear rotors needed to be replaced along with the brake pads. Ryan explained the mechanics of the Start/Stop system and pointed out the visible damage on the rear rotors. He also explained the need for replacing the brake pads. This information helped me as I worked to resolve the situation with the Everett dealership. About 80 days after my purchase and a lot of haggling, the Everett dealership finally accepted responsibility and replaced the batteries, rotors and brake pads. Many thanks to Ryan for his patience, explanations of auto mechanics, and encouragement as I worked to resolve these problems!

My service advisor Kirk was a pleasure to work with, he explained all details of my vehicle's requirements well, eased my anxiety around my concerns, and was consistently friendly and patient. Although I did need to bring my vehicle back to the dealership for a second inspection in which they found the cause of a problem I noticed after my initial repair, they quickly corrected the problem, and Kirk kept me updated for the duration of my visit. Kirk made my experience positive despite any of the challenges that arose during my service.

I would highly recommend NOT buying a vehicle here just so you never have to deal with the service department. I bought an extended warranty with my vehicle... Which other dealers can easily look up, but somehow they can't see in their computer and avoid acknowledging. On my most recent visit, once they FINALLY did acknowledge the warranty, they threw my vehicle in the back of the lot until I went in to confront them. All said and done, FIVE WEEKS later I get my vehicle back and within 48hrs the issue I brought it in for is broken again.

As someone who has worked in the automotive industry, I have a nuanced perspective. I’ve had good experiences, along with not so great at other dealers. So far, my experience with Kaylee Samuels has been nothing short of outstanding. My car is a fleet vehicle, which requires more hoops to jump through, to get proper approval from the fleet company. Kaylee has navigated the process much more effectively than most, as she has shown her knowledge and experience, in getting approval on items that absolutely need to be addressed first, so that the techs can stay busy, while approval on secondary items are still pending. I know this might not mean a lot to the average consumer so I’ll say this in a different way, this is what efficiency looks like. If you want efficient service, with fantastic communication, this is the best CDJR dealer I’ve been to, including dealers in Portland, and Denver. Thank you Kaylee! You’ve been fantastic!

Marcelino helped with addressing the recall for my Jeep. He was very kind to work with and addressed all of my questions very patiently. I already have another visit scheduled for a different issue with the vehicle. Would recommend visiting the service center.

Initial alignment didn't solve the steering wheel problem. Took a few months of communicating with them( missed emails, person, calls).before it was finally completed satisfactorily.

Sales person who helped us was Norberto Flores. Such a great person. Helped us through all the paper works. Gave us all the information we needed in regards to financing the car and providing us with the car fax of the vehicle. We were able to drive out with our new vehicle today. Go see Norberto when you go there. He will definitely help you out😊

Just bought my second Jeep, a new 2024 Jeep Compass here, and had an amazing and patient experience with Stephen. Stephen and I were in touch for a few weeks before I was able to get into the dealership, and he was never pushy while I tried to coordinate with my work schedule to get in. While we waited to double check my financing situation, before checking out vehicles, we had a friendly conversation about families and work. Great guy, great experience, 10/10 will come back here

I recommend Darrell if your looking for a new or used car. I got my last 2 cars with him and the company. Very happy with the service as well as the cars. The first one 2015 Nissan had only 50000 original miles never had a problem with it. Then traded it in for my Acura which is a 2019 and it had only 25000 original miles on it and normal maintenance has been done with it but it's a really good car as well. If I ever decide to change my car again. I will definitely be going back to Darrell and CDJR Renton. And so should You.

There seems to be some major issues at the service department at this dealership. I took my vehicle in for service today and decided to wait even though my service was going to take up to five hours to complete. I watched service advisers try to cover work orders opened by another service adviser because he is apparently on vacation or absent. I watched numerous advisors calling customers trying to take over work orders to provide updates to customers. Even though advisors were calling customers, I still watched a steady flow of customers come in to ask for updates. It seems like the dealership has kept vehicles for multiple days and have not provided any kind of update. In addition, I saw numerous individuals come in at the end of the day after dropping there car off only to be told that their car didn’t even get looked at. I only saw the service manager come out of his office one time during the whole day. There are some serious issues. You can learn a lot by observing a business for a day. Customers be ware. The General Manager should definitely be looking into this.

Dealership Review: 0/5 Stars – Misdiagnosis and Refusal to Refund Diagnostic Fee Avoid This Dealership – Charged for a Completely Wrong (and Likely Fake) Diagnosis on My 2020 Jeep Gladiator As a mechanically inclined Jeep owner who's stronger than average and comfortable wrenching on my own vehicles, I brought my 2020 Gladiator to this dealership because it was making a loud noise while driving. With some warranty time/miles still remaining, I figured I'd let them check it first in case it was covered. If not, I'd pay a fair diagnostic fee and fix it myself if possible. The service advisor (Anthony, who was actually excellent with communication) relayed the tech's diagnosis: all the engine pulleys were bad, determined by removing the intake, serpentine belt, and using compressed air to isolate the noise. Wearable parts like pulleys aren't covered under warranty, so I paid the ~$400 diagnostic fee upfront to get a confident answer. They even provided OEM part numbers, which I appreciated, and I ordered and installed everything myself (including a new belt). Here's where it went wrong: When I started the repair, it was immediately obvious no one had touched the engine bay recently. My Gladiator gets dirty from off-road trails, and there was zero evidence of the intake or belt being removed—no fresh fingerprints, no disturbed dust/dirt, nothing. After replacing all the pulleys and belt, I test-drove it... and the exact same loud noise persisted. Nothing fixed. I called the dealership right away, explained the repairs didn't resolve anything, and requested a refund of the diagnostic fee since the issue was clearly misdiagnosed (and suspiciously, it seemed like little to no actual work was done to arrive at it). I was fine eating the cost of parts and my own labor, but charging me $400 for an incorrect (and possibly fabricated) diagnosis felt wrong. Took it to an independent shop instead. On a lift and after a quick test drive (in literally 2 minutes), they pinpointed the real problem: the rear differential pinion bearing – the complete opposite end of the vehicle from the engine pulleys. A proper diagnosis should involve a road test and lift inspection, which apparently wasn't done here. The dealership refused to refund the diagnostic fee, claiming they "performed the work" (even though evidence suggests otherwise). This has permanently lost my business – I'll stick with trusted local shops from now on. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
