I will never take my BMW M3 anywhere else. I was impressed from my first call until after I paid. Let me explain. I have a car that has sentimental value as it belonged to my deceased brother. My other brother and I do almost all the work on it, but recently wanted to get some help on a supercharger we had reinstalled after a refurbishment on hoses and clamps. I called and spoke with Dan. I am also a business owner myself and know good customer service when I see it. Dan did not try and sell my anything. He was all knowledge. He sold me on the fact that he truly wanted to help me get the car function at its top performance. He went above and beyond my expectation and I never felt uneasy or worried that he may do more damage to my car as I am with some people. From the moment I drove up to drop off My M3 until I picked it up the communication was excellent. Dan is one of the few people I have encountered that truly knows what it means to take care of a customer. Even after I had paid, he took an extra ten minutes to tell me about some of the stuff he did so I understood. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY NEEDING WORK DONE ON ANY VEHICLE.

Ress Motor Works replaced my oil pan and oil pan gasket in summer of 2022, they were courteous and well-priced for this job. I live on the south side and have Dreyer and Reinbold do my oil changes. Upon the last change about 2 weeks ago the technician notified me with a video that my oil pan appeared to have a leak. The service writer there mentioned it may be residual. I called Ress Motor Works and they were extremely friendly and helpful, even though the labor was now just outside the 12 month, 12,000 miles, they still found time to take a deeper look free of charge and were able to confirm it was in fact residual and not an active leak. Ress certainly eased some of my mind and their customer service was much appreciated. This is a great place for BMWs and I'm glad a friend of mine had me look them up for the original work I needed done. Thank you!

I had electrical issues and they were very helpful with resolving my issues. Dropped my car off and it was ready the next day. They are very personable and offer very good advice on all repairs. Don’t be afraid to bring your BMW to Ress Motor Works. They are very competent and knowledgeable. Mechanic that are good with electrical issues are very difficult to find especially with BMW’s. I took a leap of faith and it has paid off. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!!

I cannot speak highly enough about this shop. We had an issue with a repair at another garage that wanted to charge us $1100 for their mess up. We told them to forget it and had it towed to Ress. Ress not only checked to make sure the repair was done correctly they also checked other systems we had concerns with and installed a new serpentine belt...all free of charge. They are the hard to find, honest, very reputable repair shop. They have created fans and customers for life.

Brought my 2012 5 series here to have my timing chain replaced. Price was below what I expected. Unfortunately it spun a bearing right after I left. I brought it back not knowing what happened. They checked it out the following morning, and told me the bad news. They were extremely professional, and acomadating. They offered me my money back for the repairs which was very nice. This is my only car, and I had spent basicly all I had on the repairs. They explained everything to me in great detail about how, and why something like this could happen. I want to call out Evan specifically for remaining composed, and talking me through everything during our 30 minute phone call. If I get a BMW again I would absolutely bring it back here. Sadly I can't afford another one right now, but maybe one day.

I needed work done on my Mini Cooper so I called to inquire about getting work done and they informed me that, "We don't mess with Mini Coopers anymore". Oh well, I guess they can pick and choose what BMW cars that they will work on and which ones they don't. So if you have a Mini Cooper. Don't come here.

He didn’t even charge for diagnosis or having my car there while I waited on the bank to process the check to pay my car off when we decided it was not worth fixing. When and if my proceeds come from selling our current home before we move, it is one of my obligations to pay him for the time he put into my car/diagnosis. Brought my X3 in for a check engine light. They called me shortly after I dropped off to let me know the issue was something potentially covered by an extended part warranty and recommended I bring it to the dealership to get it fixed for free. I have since done that, and they were right. Didn’t charge me anything for their time, though I was willing to pay. I can’t say enough great things about my experience.
