We had the misfortune over thanksgiving holiday of being involved in an accident that debilitated our vehicle. It had to be left in Alabama while we made our way back to Texas. It was fortuitous that it was a Subaru and they didn't have a body shop but highly recommended Rettig's. Fred, Jim and others were so helpful. If you have a vehicle that you want repaired correctly go to Rettig's. I just got home from the return trip 600 plus miles. The car which required suspension, wheel and other repairs in addition to body work drove wonderfully. I'm determined now to write positive reviews when good experiences occur. Most people just gripe and complain and expect their lives to be trouble free even when though they caused the problem. This was my fault and Rettig's made it right. Thank you Fred and staff.

Go see Dylan Argiro at Rettig's on Montlimar. Someone bumped my car in a parking lot and they were nice enough to leave me their information to repair the damage. I took it to Rettig's for an estimate. Dylan did an amazing job on buffing out the scratch...and did not charge after I explained about the person who bumped my car. I appreciate his honesty, hard work and giving people a break when needed. Love this Auto Shop!

After the Daphne location failed to fix my car after 6 trips over 13 weeks, Corey and Paige assured me they would make it right. Two more trips and I was told that they can put the damaged exhaust components back on so the noise will go away but the muffler won’t fit right or I can live with the noise from the after market exhaust parts they used because they failed to notice the damage when originally looked at. They gave an estimate for repairs and to replace with correct parts would have totaled the car. Now they can’t seek supplement from insurance so I am out of luck. They did at least fix the leak that the Daphne location couldn’t get right but I am still left with a car that is not properly fixed. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I wish I had heard the other horror stories BEFORE I trusted them to work on my car.

I have used Rettig' auto Body for many years for body work. They are absolutely the best place in the South to get professional work done. the paint jobs are perfection, the body work is also perfect. There is never a gap or over spray anywhere on the vehicle. The care they take to get your vehicle to look as it did before the damage is 100%. I took my 2018 Murano in on Monday, Danielle came out took the estimate on the repair work. She assessed everything down to the decals that had to be replaced. She was so kind, friendly and helpful. I put my car in the shop on Monday and got it back on Friday. She did an outstanding job speaking with the insurance companies and keeping me informed on everything taking place. She was top notch with her customer service skills. Mr. Rettig was also a huge help in making sure I was completely satisfied with my vehicle. I have referred many family and friends to Rettig's. I would never take any vehicle to any other shop for body repair work. I have owned foreign and domestic vehicles, if you want your vehicle put back together correctly and look better than it did before do yourself a favor take it to RETTIG's.

Late on a Saturday night, during a cross-country drive with my family, I was in a fender bender. The front bumper on my F150 bent too far forward for me to continue driving, so we stopped for the night at a hotel and tried to figure out what to do. Early on Sunday morning, I sought any open mechanic or repair shop who might be able to help us so we could keep driving. Not a single one was open. I figured I’d try to fix it myself, but on the way to an auto parts store, I passed by Rettig’s. I saw the light was on, so I figured I’d knock and ask for help. A gentleman came out of the garage, so my issue, and just immediately went to work on it. He spent 15 minutes taking off the bumper, then did a bit extra to secure some loose chords. When he was finished, I offered to pay him. He refused. I took the cash out of my wallet, and again, he refused. He just said he was happy to help. The folks at Rettig’s are good, honest people who helped me when I needed it. I don’t live in the area, but if you do, I can’t recommend Rettig’s highly enough.

Have a quantum gray audi s5 that needed some paint work done. Originally took it to another shop that said they don't do paint if i didn't need any body work done, but the guy there recommended Rettig's as a place that would. Apparently the first time around the color didn't match up well, so they kept it an extra few days to redo it, and now I can't even tell it was ever damaged. The fact that they're willing to take the extra time/effort to make sure it looks good means everything. Staff was super friendly as well. Would definitely recommend/use again.

*UPDATE* Contrary to what Rettig commented about this post being slanderous, i must insist that not a word of this review is incorrect or exaggerated. The damage to my car didnt involve my back bumper panel WHATSOEVER and it was in perfect condition when i brought my car in and i have the pictures to prove it. Yet they still removed the panel to resell despite it not being damaged in the slightest. And, again, i can prove it. I brought my car in after someone backed into me. It stayed there for several weeks while my insurance company decided how to process my claim. Even though it was only cosmetic damage, my insurance company decided to total out my vehicle. I requested to get my car back. It turns out they had already started stripping panels off my car to resell. When I picked up my car it looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse than when I dropped it off. Why did they even need to take the bumper panel off? What's worse, they made zero effort to rectify the situation. I am incredibly unhappy with them and their sleazy tactics. Do NOT use them.

Rettig’s Body Shop did an awesome job repairing my 2019 Nissan Altima. I can’t say enough good things about the service I received from John and the team. Originally, my insurance company (State Farm) tried to direct me to one of their preferred shops, Joe Hudson’s Collision Center on Montlimar Dr. I drove my vehicle there myself — over an hour one way — and the car was still completely drivable when I dropped it off. They told me they would prepare an estimate and send it to me before submitting anything to the insurance company. After more than two weeks of hearing nothing, I called to ask about the estimate. I was then told they had already sent it to State Farm and that they could no longer see the estimate after submitting it. About a week later, State Farm called to say they were totaling my vehicle. I disagreed with that decision and told them I would be picking up my car and getting a second estimate. State Farm told me that Joe Hudson’s let them know they had not disassembled anything and that the car was ready to pick up. However, when I arrived, the entire front end had of the car had already been taken apart and was lying on the ground. When I questioned it, the manager at the time, Sam, told me I should call a tow truck and handled the situation very unprofessionally. I ultimately had to call the police to resolve the situation. I then had my car taken to Rettig’s Body Shop for another estimate. After getting a copy of Joe Hudson’s estimate from State Farm, we discovered that several items listed as damaged did not actually need repair and were not even wrong with the vehicle. John at Rettig’s went above and beyond to help me through this situation. He took the time to walk through the vehicle with State Farm and show them exactly what did and did not need to be repaired. His honesty, professionalism, and willingness to advocate for his customer truly stood out. This is the second time I’ve used Rettig’s Body Shop, and once again they delivered excellent service. They had my vehicle repaired and ready within two weeks, even after waiting for State Farm to come inspect it. I highly recommend Rettig’s Body Shop to anyone needing vehicle repairs. They provide honest estimates, quality work, and outstanding customer service.
