Blew a tire right beside his shop. I drive by it multiple times a day and never give it a thought. Pulled in (or limped in actually) and he came right out, asked what was wrong, and dropped what he was doing to get me fixed up. Was out in about 15 minutes. Not sure I'll ever go to another big name mechanic chain again after this experience. He was also very personable. Thanks James!!!

The bolts mounting & holding my alternator on broke. I had it towed to North Side Auto Center in CR6 Elkhart. After they had for 6 days they said be $900 to fix! said they had to drill out old bolts take out this and that etc. I called around and had towed to Reynolds Auto Repair. within an hour they had it fixed! only $107! they saved me almost $800! They knew how much North Side wanted and still only charged me $107. they could have charged $700, $600, $500, $400, $300 anything less than $900, and I would have still been happy. but they didn't! James is an honest mechanic! So hard to find these days. He made my day! week! year! thank you James and Reynolds Auto Repair. Highly recommend!

One of the ONLY places that I will take my cars for maintenance/repairs! James is very personable and gets every job done quickly! I am always handing out his business cards so everybody I know can save money and have quality work done on their vehicles. James has built such a community in his shop that I don't even mind waiting for my cars to be finished because his frequent flying customers like to hang out and chat most of the times I have been there, and they're fun to talk to! I had advised my son to take his H3 Hummer to this shop based on reviews for his air and a full vehicle inspection and couldn’t be more disappointed!!! He was driving from Indiana to Arizona to relocate so I wanted to ensure he had a top notch shop evaluate the play in the steering wheel along with the vibration when above 60 mph. They fixed the air which was, to me, a minor issue compared to drive ability and safety. Before leaving, the next day, he had to pick the enclosed trailer up from Battle Creek and the truck was still exactly the same despite their “thorough” check of the vehicle and no noted repairs needed! By the time we called the shop back they were closed. I had him find a reputable shop in Battle Creek where we paid $2100 in repairs (shocks, wheel bearings and other suspension items). My son was shown how bad these items were prior to being replaced yet Reynold missed all of it! These items did not happen in less than 24 hours they were there and missed. I had him call the next day and tell the manager to let their staff know this is safety related and unacceptable! We asked for no money back no anything just that they pay closer attention! He was driving from Indiana to Phoenix and needed the vehicle check completely checked over and they failed miserably. I have zero positive remarks because this is my sons life that was at stake and they truly cld have cared less about him. I get things can be missed but this many items??? This many safety concerns???? Money was never an issue and we want no refund because the work on the air was completed properly but I NEED this shop to understand what was at stake and that they personally dropped the ball. We own 8 vehicles and we’re looking for a new service center so not only did you miss out on the $2100 the other center got paid you missed out on all the potential new business we would have brought your way. Sorry if I am ranting but this is my baby that I sent to you for help and I am grateful I found another shop willing to see to his safety.

James is a Honest and good guy. Had brakes locking up and other shops would take days and couldn't fix them. Looked online saw the reviews and decided to take a chance at this shop..was frustrated and spending too much$$ on other shops and still my car wasn't fixed...brought my car in expecting it to take days like other shops to figure out the problem but james fixed my brake problem in just a few hours. Hard working and trustworthy... Have not had any issues since he worked on my car.

The nicest people!!! We called on short notice this morning when we discovered a flat tire on our travel trailer. My wife looked them up on Google map and asked if they could fix our tire. They said yeah, no problem, come right over. They had the tire off in a couple minutes. They pulled the nail out of the offending tire and plugged it, checked the air pressure on all the other tires and only charged us 10 bucks! We gave them 20, thanked them profusely and hit the road.

Had them do our breaks to find out later on they didn’t secure our break lines properly causing them to snap and break. Thankfully we weren’t in an accident but the mechanic we took it to told us what the cause of the break line to snap. Called them trying to explain politely what happened they were very rude and refused to listen. I had to keep repeating myself and how they didn’t do the job properly we could have been seriously hurt or worse. I got a loud and rude “k thanks for the call!” As they hung up on me. I do not recommend this place. UPDATE: they called me trying to say it’s because I voided the warranty it wasn’t covered or anything. It is not a warranty issue…. They didn’t do the job properly and that could have caused us to wreck. I will not take my review down like they asked

I have used Reynolds in the past and was very pleased with the entire experience now I find myself requiring their expertise once again. From the time I crossed the threshold of their front entrance Rebecca was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the whole process and very honest about what I needed and even more importantly what I didn't need !
