Spent a month going crazy chasing a sound that would kick in around 2k RPM under load (66 Lemans). Two previous shops thought it was likely a serious internal mechanical problem. Luckily I stopped by Rick's for an additional opinion. After a quick drive around the block, they were able to diagnose the issue in minutes and correct the sound with a quick tune up. Great to have found a local, dependable, honest shop!

If I could give 20 stars I would. Rick and his whole group are truly masters at their craft. They rebuilt the motor in my 1952 Ford f-1 and it is absolutely perfect. Runs incredible. The customer service was even better. Now I know why there is so many classic cars around the place. Best business I have had the pleasure of working with in years. After years of dealing with mediocre mechanics for my 65’ Fury, I finally found a mechanic I can trust. Rick cared for my car as if it was his. I haven’t heard my engine run smoothly in years and it didn’t die on me every time I turned the engine off. Rick’s Muscle Garage in Burbank has quickly become my go-to shop for my 1970 Ford F-250 Sport Custom. I walked in without an appointment with more than a few projects out of my depth, and despite having a waitlist, Rick and his team still made my truck a priority that same day. So far they’ve handled a tune-up, radiator replacement, front brake disc conversion and rear brake job, Saginaw power-steering swap, and more, and every single job has been turned around insanely fast without sacrificing quality, all while offering extremely fair pricing for the level of expertise. Communication has been excellent throughout, the whole crew (techs and front desk) is genuinely kind and easy to work with, and the pricing is insanely fair for the level of expertise and speed. It’s been difficult to find a shop around Burbank that doesn’t drag projects out for weeks or months and is this transparent about the work, the pricing, and expectations. Rick and his team obviously care about what they’re building and who they’re building it for. Can’t recommend enough to anyone in the lower valley.
