My vehicle would not turn over when ignition was activated. Tried to jump it, but no change. Called Ricotta's at about 9 am. Told them I was going to try to jump it one more time. No change at 11.45 am. Went to Ricotta's shop, gave keys and asked for them to tow it in. the had it towed, diagnosed the problem, found it was a bad starter, found a starter (18 year old vehicle), called me for permission, had it ready for me to pick up by 5 pm. Then on top of that, I did not have my wallet to pay. Tom let me take the vehicle home and pay the next day even though I had only met him once last fall for vehicle service. Great business! Honest people!!! AAA+++

The Ricotta’s are true craftsmen who have an unparalleled knowledge of Corvettes and GM muscle cars. Recently, I took my 1968 Corvette to them for a routine maintenance. The car hsd previously had a very thorough frame off restoration but once I got it to the shop the car would not start and had no electrical power. Apparently, the wiring was completely incorrectly done such that the car could have started on fire if it had been driven long enough, which frankly could’ve ended very badly for me. They diagnosed everything that was wrong and fixed it so that the car is now safe! They also Installed a new wiper motor, stereo and tuned the car up for the summer. These guys are probably one of a handful of shops in the United States that could’ve done this work and I’m very thankful that they helped me out. I highly recommend them and in the end it was all done for quite a reasonable price. Thanks for your help Tom, Bob Oliai Alces Vehicle Storage Freeport, IL
