Rillito was referred to me by another shop that was just to busy to help me. When I walked in the were friendly and welcoming. I was desperate, I was going out of town and my car wasn’t running right. Within minutes my car was being looked at and diagnosed! They started work immediately and within a few hours my car was fixed! They allowed me to see what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Joe was excellent and I would highly recommend Rillito to anyone! For what it’s worth, I would stake my reputation on them!!!! Sincerely, A satisfied customer 😃

I most definitely never leave bad reviews as I understand there are situations that are out of a businesses control but I took my vehicle in because it was wandering. They suggested new ball joints so I spent their inflated price because my vehicle was already there. Cost over $1200 and turns out that most shops charge half of that (Didn't do my research as I assumed they would be reasonable and at the very least average cost.) and that still did not fix the wandering problem, but they insisted it was driving fine. Got ahold of them and was told my vehicle was ready and I said I'd be down to pick it up (on a Friday) and they're online hours at 5:30 so I showed app at 515 (I was working and had to get a ride all within a couple hours) and everything was locked up... I called several times and of course, no answer. I had plans to go out of town the next morning and that was completely ruined... And though they insisted the vehicle was driving fine.... it was not at all upon pick up the following Monday. And to top it off, one of the cylinder coils was now malfunctioning literally 5 min out the door... I fixed that at home. I took it to a different shop of course. And they immediately noticed the problem with the wandering and said it definitely wasn't safe (and that was no exaduration) so they got to work... I put a request in online to change the hours. Fortunately, at least those are changed now. When I brought up to the front desk the situation about the hours online they just shrugged and said. Oh I thought that was fixed. Unreal.... Especially considering, I said i'd be down that day to pick my vehicle up. Like I said, I'm not generally one to leave a bad review. And it has been almost a couple of months, so this was thought out. I would most definitely not recommend this shop.

This place is amazing. Was out of town 1600 miles from home when I had a fluid leak in the rear. They got me in sand day and diagnosed the issue. They had the parts in and fixed the next day, all reasonably priced. For what they did for me, I would recommend them to anyone who asks in the Tucson area. They will take care of you. Thank you Joe, Jay and whoever else had something to do with my truck.

These guys are fantastic. I had allowed a jeep club member who was a “mechanic” to install my 4in lift kit on my Wrangler only to find he wasn’t a mechanic at all, just a service advisor that worked on Cherokees in his free time. Another club member stepped in to help me fix the cluster of problems. We started calling around and I was coached on what to say. I noticed that the prices were all very different from when he’d call and I’d call. Needless to say I was done entrusting all mechanics. Desperate to fix my problems, I called a mechanic that solely works with a private Jeep club and was given Rillitos number. As someone who wasn’t going to gain anything from me, I figured it would be ok to trust him. It was the right choice. I take in my poor Jeep with a bump steer and shaking every time I stepped on the brake. The control arms were backwards and the nuts and bolts in general were loose. I needed an adjustable track bar. My steering wheel was literally turned sideways… It needed a really good tune up on the mess the other guy created. They took the time to ensure everything was installed correctly, tightened down, and realigned. Safe. Which is crazy important when you’re out on a trail with a three year old. The job was at a fair price. Since, I’ve been back a few times for various things here and there. They’re always so kind. It’s always explained to me what happened and how they fixed it. They’re never annoyed with the 50 million questions I have. We always discuss other symptoms because it’s never ending (iykyk) and I’m always sent away with things to look for, feel for, and what to do for next steps. This place is my go-to. My Jeep’s official doctor lol. I won’t go anywhere else.

Rillito Automotive has always been good to me, whether it's for an oil change or general maintenance. Good price range, and they don't try to push "this is a death trap, get this, this, and this done immediately with us only" that other shops have tried to push on me since I'm a girl and not a car guy. I would definitely recommend them, although I don't want them to get to popular that I can't get an appointment within a day or two lol.

These guys are the best! Honest, fair, they stand behind their work. Most auto repair shops wont work on diesels, but they took my starting problem ob, and solved it to my complete satisfaction. Joe is a pleasure to deal with. If you want a competent and honest auto repair shop, this is the place in Tucson.

I wish I could give 1000 stars! These guys are fantastic, trustworthy, knowledgeable, patient, and do stellar work. They fixed a problem that was diagnosed by the dealership (11k pricetag) for under $400. My car is running great, and I didn't have to sell a kidney to keep my car!! John explained everything they did in detail, so I was in the loop and knew that they'd tested and re-tested everything to ensure I'm driving a safe car. My car was at this shop for approx 2 months. I took it in for a diagnostic check and also because it was starting to sound different to me, so thought I’d better have it checked out. The car was still drivable, I didn’t have any issues with the battery, auto stop, stalling or anything. I simply just wanted to see why the engine light was on. Joe called me and said that there were a few things that needed to be replaced: connector fuel injector, oxygen sensor and engine solenoid I gave them the okay. Then I get another call that the control arms need to be replaced. I told Joe if that’s whats causing my check engine light to be on and if it’s gonna fix the problem then do it. They replaced the CAT Converter twice (this was under warranty) The first one they said was defected and so they ordered more of a high tech one. They said all was good so FINALLY went to pick up my car. The next day, light is back on and it stalled on me while driving to work!! Took it back to the shop. Now I need a new battery. The battery I had was brand new from O’Reilly. They said when they put one of their batteries in, it runs perfectly fine but when they put my battery back in, it doesn’t work and that my car would stall. Joe tried to sell me an ACDelco for almost $300 and I believe I had the same battery ,but he said that theres not enough voltage. Mind you my car had no major issues before taking it to them. I’ve had my car for about 2 weeks now and it had to be towed today, smh! $1,178 later this is what happens! They messed up my car!!! Please, please stay away from this shop, save your money and time and go to someone who knows what the hell they’re doing! Another thing, they don’t call you to update you. My husband and I either had to call to get an update or drive to the shop to see what’s going on. We were more than patient with this shop and this is what happens!

So I shopped for months to find my dream car. I knew exactly what I wanted and there was only 5 available at the time in the whole country. The one I was looking at was in Arizona and I live in Wisconsin. I wasn't able to get to Arizona to inspect the vehicle myself and the dealership "suggested" some third party inspectors however I was much more comfortable finding my own. I called Joe at Rillito and explained the situation and he was so nice and patient and understanding even after it took over a week and multiple phone calls to get it over to him. He did the inspection for me and let me know the vehicle was in great condition. I was so grateful to him and felt so comfortable knowing I was getting a good vehicle, it took a lot of stress off me. So glad to have a place I can trust with my car since my time in school up until I graduated. Joe and the staff took really good care of my car over the past years and gave me his honest opinion on the repairs, most cost effective repairs in that time, and ways to reduce another maintenance cost. Car repairs are not my thing and living far from family didn't make it easy but knowing that Joe and staff were there to come to the rescue and handle whatever is wrong was really helpful!
