I was looking for a used BMW for a little while on different websites. I tried to contact many of the dealers about different vehicles but only 2 responded to me. Eddy told me that the car I was inquiring about had been sold but they had a similar one coming in that afternoon. Eddy told me it was literally coming in and hadn't been touched yet. Then invited me to come see it. Eddy and Albert are honest people. They tell it like it is and will go the extra mile to make sure you're happy. You really don't find people like this anymore. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again for any future cars. Thanks guys!

I came to fix my car at this place because it was making noises when I steered the driving wheel. I had a person at this location look at it and tell me that it was a bad power steering pump. After I paid $350 to fix the pump, 2 days later the sound came back on so I brought it back to this place to the same person that worked on my car. The person puts power steering fluid and the noise goes away immediately. So the guy looks at the engine again and tells me that it needs a $60 hose from the manufacturer since it is leaking power steering fluid. Long story short, the service was misdiagnosed. The real issue was just to fix the hose and not the power steering pump. It is extremely unfortunate that after spending $350.00 these people did not take a look at the real problem which was just to fix a $60.00 hose. On top of it all, the guy tells me to go to Toyota and buy the $60 and replace it. So my car is still not fixed and and I just spend $350. Please be aware of this business and the service they provide to your car.

After visiting dealerships in Worcester, Leominster and New Hampshire, I found River Street Auto and I must say that I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and experience. Unlike the salesmen at other dealerships, Albert offered tips and advise for a proper purchase and didn't try to scam me or put me in to the most expensive car on the lot. They even double-checked the vehicle for issues, and all is well!! Seeing as how they have an auto service center and do vehicle inspections, I can definitely say that I will be a loyal customer and recommend River Street Auto to anyone in need of repairs, inspections, or even looking to purchase. :)

Very unprofessional and unorganized. Do not take responsibilty for the vehicles they sell and take their sweet time to get the BARE MINIMUM done. Bought a car recently from the dealership across the street. The dealership and auto service work as one. Either way I was told that cars they sell are not fixed until they are bought, understandable. After purchasing the vehicle, I had to bring it back multiple times and the issues were never resolved. While my car waiting to be fixed for 5 days at a time, everytime I got it back another dash board light came on. The staff informed me that they use resold parts from junk yards. I went in because my AWD light was on as well as an ABS light and other things that needed to be fixed at the time of purchase. About 50% was fixed and the rest ignored. After I received an inspection, the check engine light came on as well as the airbag light. Instead of giving me daily updates, I had to constantly ask the status in which I was sent from person to person because noone knew the status of the vehicle when it was in their shop. Instead of a friendly envirnment and being updated, I received threats and hostility. I would never recommend this business or their services to anyone.

I was looking to buy a car for my 17 year old daughter. They had a couple cars on the website within the price range ($4-$6k) I wanted to be in. So I drove 55 mins to this dealership. I showed up on Saturday around 3:30pm there were about 4-5 employees in light blue shirts standing chatting (no big deal) I got out my truck and started to walk the lot looking for the cars I wanted to see. There was maybe 2-3 other customers on the lot at the time. After 10 mins I found it odd nobody came to greet/help me. I noticed two customers pull up after me and they both were greeted immediately. After about 15 mins it was clear I was not going to be serviced. (6โ5, African American male) I didnโt say anything. I hopped in my truck and decided to take my business elsewhere. I know when my business is not wanted. Minority buyers beware

Once they got my money I had to fight with them every step of the way. They didnโt want to give me the title for 3 days which was the first fight. Then once I finally got it and was able to register it k was able to drive it for a whole 2 days before the transmission started having problems and my car wouldnโt accelerate while I was driving in the highway. I had it towed back at my expense of course because they refused to pay for it, just to tell me that I couldnโt leave the car there and they are not fixing it. I was forced to drive it home and pay to have it fixed on out of my own pocket after just paying $10k for the car. You are doing yourself any favors shopping here. Run run away!

River Street Auto Sales: Amazing experience! Amanda was so personable and really helped us with all of our questions! Their prices are cheaper than most places and the cars are super clean! They even brought the car to their auto shop across the street one last time to check it out before I took the car home. They were timely, thorough and extremely transparent throughout the whole process. My favorite thing about this place is they didnโt follow us around trying to sell us cars or raise the price on us, they let us decide what car we wanted. As opposed to other auto sales places that have a salesperson breathing down your neck at every step. All in all as a first time buyer, I will be buying my next car from this place :) -Shannon Brown

My dad had previously used River Street Auto before for a long time, now Ive been using RSA personally for a few years with no issues at all. Joe is awesome heโs polite and helpful but also straightforward. Once upon a time the old ladies car needed inspection sticker done, it was the weekend so I wasnโt sure if I would be able to do it. I pull up to RSA and there was a decent line 4-5 cars, Joe comes over and tells the last few itโs close to closing so he wasnโt sure if heโll make it to us. I told him Iโd risk it and wait. He worked his magic and got everyone done ahead of me and took me in with 8 minutes till closing. I wasnโt expecting him to make it but it shows how committed they are. 10/10 would recommend. Dan

Went in for an inspection. They discovered the lights above my lisence plate was out. Said it will be $20 to replace or I can get a rejection sticker, go get the lightbulbs myself ($5 at walmart for a set of 2 bulbs), replace them, then come back for another inspection. Bulbs were $20 each, which wasn't properly communicated. He tried to convince me changing those lightbulbs was a tough job to justify the $40 charge (I'm sure its easy in most cars but we are talking about an '08 accord). He also said my windsheild wipers need to be replaced but he is "closing his eyes to that" to pass my car's inspection. I think when it comes to saftey, replacing the windsheild wipers is more important than the lights that illuminate the license plate. Shady business, shady mechanics. Do not recommend.

Got my truck inspected here and it failed for a muffler leak, ebrake, and some bulbs out. Truck was in good shape but they were extra strict (2001 so no emissions). I fixed everything myself and returned with my reciept. I received a sticker once everything was fixed but sure enough the tech said the front end was loose and the guy before missed it! Keep in mind you are able to watch the entire inspection process here through a small window. He never even jacked the vehicle up to check! I have and there is no looseness! Sad to find another garage trying to take advantage of those less mechanically inclined. I will not be returning here for any reason.

The positive is that they did my oil change, the negative is that I was charged $95 for an oil change that will last only 4,000 miles. My husband went to SpeeDee on the same day, got a 5,000 mile oil change for $85. Not worth it.

I sat there and met so many of their customers while I waited and they were the nicest people as well!!! I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone!!!

Super convenient and quick to get an inspection sticker, but at what cost? Have gone there the last 3 years to get a sticker and every single year I've had "a light bulb" of some sort out (usually license plate). So then they tell me they can either give me a rejection sticker, or fix it for like $20. Obviously people are going to tell them to fix it for just $20 rather than dealing with the hassle of a rejection sticker. There was one time where I saw another lady getting one, and they told her she had a lightbulb out too.. happened again to me this year with my parking lights, so then I started to get suspicious. I checked out the reviews and sure enough I see a lot more people reporting the same. thinking more about it, it sure is an easy way to make an extra few $$ per customer, but that's shady as hell. Starting to think it's never busy there because people are realizing this shady practice and aren't going there anymore. I don't think I'm going back.
