Dan at RMG is seriously the nicest, really insightful and helpful Porsche mechanic I’ve run into in sometime. I was in from out of town to buy a Carrera, last minute on his day off he said he would do the PPI. At first glance he noticed paint work on the front and rear, both non disclosed and very hard to tell in sunlight. He offered to put it up on the rack and look into it a bit, he found a few other concerns, slow starter and brake rotors not properly fixed. I decided I didn’t want to go further so he didn’t charge me. I wish I had cash on me or some way to pay him (he refused payment) so hence the review. He saved me a lot of money on a potentially bad decision. I’ve been in a lot of Porsche shops but these guys are honest, fair and care. Highly recommend these guys!

Bob and Dan and Dan are great. I do most of my own work, but get stuck sometimes. When I do, I take my car to RMG, so they only get the tough problems. They have a wealth of experience with Porsches and can find and fix anything. Given the experience, they can often find and fix the issues faster than others saving you both money and time. RMG is my go to place.

Dan and Dan are absolute professionals, and I will continue to bring my car to them for as long as I can. I brought my 1986 911 Turbo to RMG with a hit list of jobs I wanted them to tackle. As they dug deeper and deeper they found a few more issues, but they kept me informed through photos of everything they suggested to fix whilst in there. The car now drives beautifully as it should, and I have peace of mind that when I bring my car to RMG, they'll treat it as if it were their own.

Dan and Dan are good guys who know their p-cars but more importantly, if they don't know something, they're not going to "fake it 'til make it"; they'll be honest and up front with you. They diagnosed and fixed some boneheaded mistakes I made while trying to wrench on my own car and got the work done quickly. The work wasn't cheap, but 1) you get what you pay for and 2) you can't own a Porsche and expect maintenance to be cheap. Honesty is a currency that wears thin in the auto repair industry so it's good to see these guys keeping it real.

I have been coming to RMG for over 6 years now. Brought my 2001 911 Turbo in for PPI post purchase to get a schedule of things to repair in the future and they were thorough though a bit pricy. Actually I got my monies worth because I have fixed most of the issues on my own schedule and the car runs like a top. Dan and Dan, yes 2 Dans now run the shop and they are fantastic, honest and upfront. Trust them totally with my car. Just completed my 60k service and car runs great with no hiccups during service. I recommend that you make an appointment in advance as they are booked out. Will be back to get my Bilstein B8 shocks and H&R springs installed soon.

Took my 987.2 Boxster to RMG Enterprises for a PPI—called them on short notice and they still managed to squeeze me in the same day. Dan and Dan (yep, both named Dan!) were genuinely awesome. I stayed for most of the inspection and had some great conversations with them. These guys are incredibly sharp and detail-oriented—they spotted everything, even small things like a single nut that might not be OEM. Their thoroughness gave me complete confidence, and I went ahead and bought the car right after. Can’t say enough how happy I was with their inspection. If you’re looking for a proper PPI or any kind of Porsche work, this is the place. 100% recommend.

When I was looking to purchase a 997 in the Bay Area, RMG Enterprises consistently came up as the best Porsche shop in the region. After seeing 5-star reviews across the board, I knew this was the place to get my PPI done. Dan did a phenomenal job. He inspected every inch of the car and provided a thorough report that made the decision to buy an easy one. He did a full PPI + bore inspection. Dan truly went above and beyond: the car needed some minor repairs that took an extra day, and even though the shop is closed on Fridays, Dan came in on his day off to meet me and walk me through the car before my drive back to LA. To top it off, when a check engine light popped up just a few miles from my house in LA, Dan hopped on the phone to walk me through a quick fix and even shipped the necessary parts overnight to help me out! Dan is like the Porsche dad everyone needs—knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly helpful. If I lived in the Bay Area, this is the only shop that would ever touch my car. I highly recommend RMG for all your Porsche needs.
