I have mixed reviews for Sunnyvale Ford. I worked with Vivian who took me on a test drive, she was very personable and enjoyed working with her. Unfortunately the managers were not able to meet me on price. This dealership says they will price match if you bring in another offer which in theory would be great because this area tends to be over priced compared to other dealerships. I ended up going with a different dealership that had the inventory I wanted and did meet me on price, unfortunately Sunnyvale Ford did not move fast enough to get my business and did not live up to their price matching promise. I would recommend this dealership if you know exactly what you want and have an offer in hand. They will work with you but be warned on overpriced inventory. Overall good experience with communication with Vivian - I just wish their finance team lived up to their promise of price matching!

My fiancé and I came in looking for a Mustang, and we met Vivian. She really took the time to get to know us and try to meet our needs when it came to what we wanted in a car. She's patient and kind; she didn't make us feel like she was trying to make a sale off of us and instead tried to find the best deals for us. Unfortunately, we did not end up purchasing the car because the car we were interested in got sold, and other priorities came up, so we had to put our car shopping on pause. Very respectful and knowledgeable providing excellent service without the pressure you would typically get in car sales. I stopped by this dealership last year when I was in the market for a family SUV. I didn’t have a specific model in mind, but since the dealership was close by and had a wide selection of both pre-owned and new vehicles, my son and I decided to browse the used car lot and then step into the showroom to look at the Bronco he was interested in. Because it was early Saturday morning, we didn’t see many staff members, and there wasn’t a Bronco on display—only a Bronco Sport. As we were about to leave, Vivian from the sales team approached us, greeted us warmly, and asked if we needed any assistance. I explained my basic requirements for a new vehicle, including price range, interior space, and some off-road capability such as 4WD for snow driving. She listened carefully and helped narrow down suitable options among several Bronco trims and the Bronco Sport. Vivian quickly arranged a test drive for a base Bronco model with 4WD, which was parked in the east lot where there were more than six Broncos available. We drove along El Camino Real to Lawrence and then briefly on I-280 to assess highway noise, acceleration, and handling of the boxy body-on-frame design. The 2.3L turbocharged inline-4 engine felt strong and torquey, even with a vehicle weight of over 4,800 lbs. During the drive, Vivian explained the infotainment system—which felt very modern and tech-rich compared to my older Lexus—and confidently answered my questions about trim-level power differences and roof panel installation and removal. I was impressed that despite being relatively new to the team, she handled even detailed questions professionally, occasionally looking up specific information to ensure accuracy. The first test drive gave me a solid performance baseline. Afterward, Vivian offered us the opportunity to test drive a higher-trim Badlands model equipped with the 2.7L turbo V6 and enhanced off-road capabilities. I gladly accepted and took the same route again. The V6 delivered a deeper growl and felt noticeably more confident during highway passing and lane merging. Back at the dealership, we reviewed interior build quality, legroom, headroom, and additional features. Overall, it was a very productive visit that gave me a well-rounded understanding of the Bronco lineup. I didn’t make a purchase that day because I wanted to compare options across other brands and models. Vivian was completely understanding and applied no pressure whatsoever. Instead, she proactively offered guidance on how to balance budget and features to optimize a future purchase. I’ve visited several other dealerships in the Bay Area, but I’ve never had an experience as positive as this one. The dealership offers very competitive pricing on certain models, and I would specifically give Vivian five stars for her professionalism, patience, and customer-focused service. If I decide to purchase a Ford vehicle in the future, I would definitely reach out to Vivian to work out a plan.

I started going to Sunnyvale Ford for the service and maintenance of my new car after a bad buying experience at another dealership. But recently, I needed to buy another car. I was working with Vivian, a sales associate at Sunnyvale Ford. For weeks, she worked so hard to find the car that I was looking for (which admittedly was a moving target) and it just wasn’t available. Throughout it all, she was so professional, so thorough, and such a joy to work with. I was super bummed that the car that I needed wasn’t in their network. But I eventually bought a car she introduced me to that I hadn’t previously considered. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Vivian if you’re looking for a car. Between Vivian in Sales and Anderson in Service, you are going to receive the best service at this dealership. The service and maintenance is so good that when I did buy another car online, I immediately ran to Sunnyvale Ford to get their extended warranty to service my car. Anderson is the best. I can expect my car to run as needed for the next several years because of Anderson. If you need service, go to this dealership, ask for Anderson. He will take great care of your car, he will keep your car running with perfection, and he will make sure you’re happy with all of the work done on your car. I look forward to the next several years of having my car serviced by Anderson and his team.

Took my 2019 Raptor in for a big service oil change, ALL mechanical fluids, rear brakes, rotors, and an alignment and walked out actually happy about spending money at a dealership. Thiago was the difference. He was friendly without being fake, explained everything in plain English, kept me updated, and never once made me feel like I was being upsold or played. ⭐☆☆☆☆ – Extremely Disappointed with Sunnyvale Ford I had one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had at Sunnyvale Ford while attempting to purchase a Ford Raptor (Stock #S0652). I initially found the truck on Facebook Marketplace through their salesperson, Fernando, and then worked directly with their General Sales Manager, Mark. I made it very clear from the beginning that I am in the business and was ready to purchase at invoice pricing. I was also transparent that I was considering a Hennessey Ford truck at Ken Grody Ford, where I had already been offered 5.99% APR for 72 months through Ford Financial by buying down the rate. We agreed to very specific terms: • $2,700 under MSRP • $895 GAP • 5.99% APR for 72 months I authorized Mark to run my credit through Ford Financial ONLY. Instead, he ran my credit multiple times without my consent, claiming he was searching for a better rate. I now have multiple hard inquiries on my credit report. He eventually secured 5.99% through Bank of America instead of Ford Financial — clearly to avoid buying down the rate as discussed. This was not what we agreed to, but because my credit had already been hit multiple times, I tried to move forward anyway. It gets worse. I clearly stated I would be the primary signer and my sister-in-law would be secondary. Mark approved an arrangement where my family would go in to complete her portion and then send me the contract to sign and notarize. My brother and sister-in-law drove FIVE HOURS to the dealership. When they got to Finance, we discovered my sister-in-law had been listed as the PRIMARY signer and the vehicle was registered to her address — without my authorization or knowledge. This was a complete restructuring of the deal. Finance claimed this was the only way Bank of America would approve the loan. When I asked to go back to Ford Financial with me as primary, the rate magically jumped to 6.69%. I asked them to honor the original agreement and buy the rate down to 5.99% as promised. They refused. My family drove ten hours round-trip for nothing. No accountability. No effort to fix it. Just careless, unprofessional handling from management. The GM of the store Jim Popal did nothing to remedy the situation didn’t even reply to my email complaint. If you value your time, your credit, and clear communication, I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

I have adjusted my rating from 1 to 3 stars to reflect that a fair resolution was reached. ORIGINAL POST on 12/21: > I am extremely disappointed with the bait-and-switch pricing at Sunnyvale Ford. I was quoted $550 over the phone for my Mach-E (electric vehicle) 30k service, but my assigned service advisor Kristofer Gomez jumped the price to $783 at drop-off. I called other dealerships nearby and they confirmed the $550 pricing. When I called the Service Manager Dan Acheta with this information, he gave me his word that the bill would be adjusted back. However, at pickup I was forced to pay $710 under protest just to get my car back because management had left for the day at 4pm about ~1 hour before close of business. I have officially opened Ford Corporate Case regarding this overcharge, and I am calling on the Dealership management to honor the verbal agreement and refund the $160 discrepancy. As a loyal customer and Ford owner since 2022, I expected a transparent service experience, however that has not been the case so far.

I have been thinking about purchasing a Ford Maverick for some months. Finally, I decided that the time had come. I went into Sunnyvale Ford and we looked at what I wanted in a Maverick. They did not have one in stock that fit all my wanna's. I went home and did some research. I found a Lariat at the Morgan Hill Dealership that had what I was looking for and a little bit more. When I went back to Sunnyvale Ford, the salesperson, Vivian was terrific. She was helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable. She and the other people helped me. They and I agreed on a price and they arranged for the Maverick I wanted to be brought up to Sunnyvale. I went home with my new Lariat and a great big smile on my face that evening. All the people with whom I interacted at Sunnyvale Ford were helpful, courteous, at all times made me comfortable. and kept me aware of the process. This process took a bit longer than normal since I had selected a vehicle that had to be brought up from the other dealer. BTW, I want to give a shout our to John in parts. He is a fellow Harley rider and a terrific guy to talk with.

I am requesting assistance regarding my 2025 Ford F-150 that I purchased brand new, with zero miles, from Ford of Sunnyvale approximately one month ago. Within two weeks of ownership, I noticed visible rust underneath the vehicle. I brought the truck back to the dealership and was told this is “normal” and does not affect drivability. However, I strongly disagree. I purchased this vehicle as new, and rust appearing so soon is unacceptable and does not meet reasonable expectations for a new vehicle. While I understand your position, the condition of the truck raises serious concerns regarding quality, long-term durability, and resale value. For these reasons, I am formally requesting that the vehicle be replaced with another identical new unit. I am not seeking repairs — only a replacement for the vehicle that was sold to me as new. Please advise me on the next steps to resolve this matter. I appreciate your prompt attention and hope we can reach a fair resolution. Thank you for your time.
