If I've learned anything in life it's that a competent, budget conscious mechanic is next to impossible to find. Well thanks be to heavens we finally found the impossible in Robert's Auto. Out of desperation I Googled a mechanic in our area after our previous mechanic continually was giving us the runaround over fixing our AC. After reading the reviews here we thought we'd give Robert's Auto a shot and I'm so thankful we did. He expressed anger over the fact that a part we were told had been replaced and paid $500 for said replacement was shown to be years old - he took out the old one and showed it to us next to a new once for comparison. He properly replaced the part for less than half what we had previously paid our old mechanic. While we were pretty upset over what our old mechanic had done, our faith in humanity was restored with Roberto's good and honest work. To sum up, if you need a reputable, skilled mechanic that's trustworthy and doesn't charge an arm and a leg then look no further than Robert's Auto.

Hands down one of the best shops around. Not only are they friendly, they are honest, clean and knowledgeable. Outside of oils changes, I’ve had two cars repaired there and Robert will continue to get our business. Try them out, you won’t regret it!

I highly recommend Robert to anyone who needs a good mechanic. I called around to many mechanics with a specific issue. Robert was the only one who actually explained that one part of my problem could be causing several others. He said just replace this one part first and then if it doesn’t correct it we will fix the other items. None of the other mechanics presented that as an option just wanted to fix all the parts at once. Sure enough Robert was correct and saved my family a lot of money. Give Robert’s Auto a call you will be happy you did.

Was very prompt, my car nearly broke down and barely made it there. Giving us fair prices and a very quick repair, I was very satisfied. Another thing I really liked was the fact he showed us the old parts that he replaced and was very thorough on the diagnostic. When it comes to prices, compared to a dealership or a mass repair shop the prices were very fair and Robert was very kind and friendly. If you're ever in the Tampa/Valrico area and are having a problem car wise, pay Robert's Auto Shop a visit.

Great family business. Robert explains car issues, is efficient, and has your vehicle ready in no time. He tends to give your vehicle a quick "inspection," and gives a heads-up when work will be needed in the not-so-distant future. He even takes the time to learn your name. Recommend.

Earlier this year I had an issue with over if my vehicles and took it to Roberts Auto primarily due to the positive reviews on Google. The quality of service was excellent and the price for service great. As my vehicle is quite a few years old, parts were not readily available. Robert searched and located the proper posts to make sure me vehicle was like new I have used 3 other reissue shops in the address and nice compared to Roberts.

I have been here a few times for services starting with smaller jobs to see if this is a mechanic I can trust as I can and frequently do much of my own repairs. This job was too big and complex for me though so I took my van here for some major repairs. The results and communication about the work that needed to be done was outstanding. I feel like my job was not only done well but care was taken along the way to explain what could be and what turned out to be issues that needed to be addressed. I was given an opt-out along the way too. All OEM parts were used and my vehicle is back in the road. I will definitely be back and recommend anyone looking for a trustworthy shop, come here.

Robert's Auto Repair is great! I recently had a problem with my radiator. They took care of the problem quickly, efficiently, and the cost was in line with the repairs. 3 days later, I took my truck back for new tires and some suspension work. Truck drives like brand new again. He even called me to follow up to ask me how I like the suspension!!!! Top notch honest guy. I really appreciated him taking care of me. Roberto has earned my respect and my business!

Originally quoted $250 to retrofit a/c system and replace filter dryer. I was a bit shocked when the bill came to $361. Several various labor charges. Parts were only $48. Job took maybe two hours. I supplied retro fittings and o-rings. UPDATE: I've used the RV (vehicle retrofitted) a few times since this job was done. I noticed the dash air was never blowing cold. Today, I bought a can of freon to see if it helped. Before hooking up the refill hose, I discovered the compressor was completely loose. They didn't even insert the front mounting bolt. Very sloppy!. I inserted a bolt, tightened it down so that the belt was tight. Next, I connected the gauge to find they had put very little freon in the system. With two cans of freon, it charged to full. Now, it blows ice cold. I originally went to this service center because of prior ratings. I found out the hard way they have no business working on A/C systems. Hopefully, my loss will be your gain. If you read this and let them touch your A/C, then you deserve what you get. You've been warned!!! 2nd Update: My neighbor stopped in to get a quote for service after searching the site online. He saw the high review score and saw that the lowest visible review was 4 stars. When he told me about this place, I informed him of the nightmare service I received. We tried to look up my review online, and somehow they managed to bury it. It is also odd that the lowest review is 4 stars and that there are only 109 reviews. This is not an honest representation of Google reviews. What's going on here. Beware!

My family and I have been going to Roberts Auto for years now. Between all my family members and I Robert has serviced 7 vehicles amongst us. Everything from Chevys, BMWs, Cadillacs, Hondas, Infinitis, and Mercedes. This is one of the most honest mechanics you will ever get to meet. Robert and his family are diligent about their work, and it clearly shows. No matter if it's something small like brake servicing, or something more complex like engine diagnostics and repair. When it comes to servicing any vehicle holistically Robert will give you the truth. He takes the time to show what's wrong, and teach on how to avoid any potential problems. The prices are more than fair especially considering the experience they bring. Robert always use OEM parts, and it's always installed CORRECTLY.
