My family has been going here for years with rolando, but recently he has been scamming us costing us more money. I had to pay $1,000 somewhere else because rolando did not do his job correctly. Don’t come here they use cheap stuff and don’t do the job right.

This place saved us. Traveling through California with kids. Car broke down. We called multiple places and this is the only one who was willing help. After being turned away by Luis Lopez auto shop that only had one car. We found Rolando's auto shop. Even with multiple vehicles he got the job done in a timely manner. Can't give thanks enough. It was fixed the same day and in top condition. He and his mechanics are too notch, best service and price in Glendale.

Rolando was disorganized and non-communicative. I had to call twice over two days to get any sort of update. He told me both times that he didn't know what was wrong with my car. The third time (called about an hour before closing) he just told me it was ready and I could come pick it up. When I arrived it was parked on Brand Boulevard unlocked with the passenger side door ajar. He served me a bill of $660 and said he had to replace three parts. One part he replaced which sells for about $15.49 he marked up to $220. I know mark ups are common, but 14x the price is nuts. There are some higher priced examples of the same part, but nothing even close to $220. If he had to use a more expensive part, a little phone call explaining why would have been helpful. At the end of the day, he needs to make money of course and I expect some markup whenever I go to the mechanic, but I also expect a service in exchange - which means a phone call explaining what's wrong with the car, an estimated pick up time, and keeping my car locked and in a safe place until it's ready. Never going back to this place.

I asked for a few basic things from the shop, just an oil change, to clear the plugged AC drain lines, and a new cabin air filter. Rolando said that it would be fine same day, maybe the day after. He had the car for 3 days, charged me $314. I specifically asked at pickup if he had done the AC lines and he said everything was good to go. When the AC drain lines started leaking into the car during my road trip, I called to confirm and he said that no, he didn’t actually do that. So I didn’t get most of the work I actually asked for, and was charged quite a bit of money for it. I’d have been better off going to Jiffy Lube.

It makes sense why his auto shop is so highly rated and I would definitely recommend his repair shop! Short story: I had my parked Toyota side swiped and the driver drove away :( but Rolando and his team were able to quote me an honest price compared to my insurance as well helping with my salvage title.
