Went here and paid for a diagnostic, he told me my axle was messed up and it was $800 to fix. After I already had him diagnose the car I found out I had a warranty I could use if I went through my dealership. Took my car to the dealership and my lug nuts were loose causing the noise my car was making. I would of been scammed out of $800 if I would of allowed him to fix my car. Don’t let this man scam you!

If you are looking for a shop that has Knowledgeable and Hard Working operators, who genuinely Care about the customer, that Pride themselves in the Quality of their work, and is a place you can TRUST, this your shop. They just opened their own operation (so support local small businesses) and have a great background and plenty of experience in the industry. Vehicles constantly need TLC or maintenence in some way, even when you do all that things fail and break down which can be costly. It can be hard to trust people who are working on your vehicle, trust that they do quality work and wont rake you over the coals with expenses. Even if it isn't the closest or most convenient place (it wasn't for me) the little extra effort is well worth it. Ed and Kim are wonderful people. In the event of auto care needs, make this YOUR shop.

Good ole boy shop this guy works hard fast and is a great mechanic down side is he needs a few more just like him to help more people. That said he fixed the car I brought in in 20 minutes and had no problem fixing minor things I asked for on the spot with competitive if not the best prices I've seen ill take all my car needs to rooftop from now on.

Last night my Subaru wouldn't start. Luckily I was near O'Reilly autoparts in grandview. The staff was struggling to help me. A young man who appeared to be a customer, offered to help. Long story short, I needed a new battery. The "customer " took my old one out and installed the new one. He then gave me his business card and said to stop by and visit he & his wife's business! Thanks for helping me out!!

Edit: Two years later and I'm still delighted with Ed's excellence! I've referred friends to Ed and they've all been happy with his service. Original: Firstly, I'm in kids ministry and education, I do as many of my own repairs as I can and I'm frugal about spending money. Ed is incredibly honest and concerned about being thrifty with my money. His hard work has saved me hundreds! I'm glad he has the tip jar on his desk. He's changed numerous parts on my Honda Odyssey, always quickly. He's punctual about looking at and completing the work he's promised.

My car stopped starting one day so I took it to Rooftop to have it diagnosed and Ed had my car back up and running in no time flat! I drive my car hard and began to notice an oil leak after I would park and Ed noticed a sensor leaking while my car was being worked on and fixed my leak likely saving my engine. He's an honest, upfront and legit man that will get the job done right and not try and screw you over or sell you junk you don't need. Kim was very sweet and helped keep me informed about my cars progress helping me with anything I needed. This is my go-to shop from now on hands down!
