My car was overheating. I called Mike’s in a panic. They said come in and we will get you back on the road. I drove there immediately and they found the problem and fixed it fast for a great price. While I was waiting I shared that I had brake and router issues, my mom was in hospice 900 miles away and how I was nervous about the cost because of my financial situation. After I left they called and told me to come back as they were going to fix my brakes and routers at no charge as a Christmas gift. Their professionalism is amazing. They are beautiful humans, truly earth angels. Mikes Auto Repair, not only are they talented automotive experts but you can trust them 100%.

This is a non-skilled shop. They may be great for oil changes and tire rotations but I would not trust them with anything bigger that that. My son traveled in my wife's Ford Escape to KC to visit a friend. The water pump went out and housing broke leaking out all of the coolant. After charging me $1000 to repair the water pump they told me they did a block test and the car had a blown head gasket and needed a new motor. I rented a truck and trailer brought the vehicle back home to IL and my mechanic look at it. The car did not have a blown head gasket but was not in time. When they replaced the water pump they did not lock down the motor in all three necessary locations so they couldn't keep it in time and to try and cover up their inability to do the job they lied to me and and said the head gasket was blown. The only reason I give them a 2 stars is that the owner admitted they screwed it up and she paid for my mechanic to repair the car. She did not pay for my time, truck rental, trailer rental, or fuel to come get the car. Nice lady but is out of touch with the customer. She does not listen and made up things that she said she told me she would do. Bottom line....they could not handle the repair and put me out of a vehicle for over two weeks due to their incompetence.

I am a long-term customer since at least late 2020. I came here for a second opinion when another agency (franchised) said I had a leaking strut and would need both fronts replaced at 1 grand plus. All this at a routine maintenance checkup. Here I was told I had a clogged AC drainage which was cleared & I have had no problem with that issue since & still have the funtional same struts on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This Mike's location has taken care of my maintenence & problem issues ever since with good results at reasonable prices. The folks here are friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Mike's Auto Repair in Grandview to anyone I know who need their vehicle worked on. All so far have been happily satisfied. Keep up the great service Mike's Auto!!

My experience with Mikes Auto Repair was amazing. I really can’t thank them enough I’ve been dealing with issues taking my truck to different auto shops they diagnosed my problem within 30 minutes, fixed it at a GREAT price and had me on the road the SAME DAY. Believe the reviews. Trustworthy, honest, and not price gouged. Affordable and experienced. Won’t take my vehicles anywhere else! After taking one of my cars in, I was able to get an entire new engine for free from Kia due to a recall. Susan helped me navigate the whole process and explained everything perfectly. I called her after to compare prices on some work from the dealership and she was gracious enough to tell me that the dealership wasn't actually ripping me off and to go ahead and let them do the work, despite me wanting to take the work to her. They are here to help and will never try to take advantage of you. I will be taking every vehicle here for as long as I can, even for oil changes!

I took my car to Mike’s Auto for an oil change on my 2000 corvette explaining to the supervisor Susan I want Mobil 1 oil full Syntheticin my car. She made the decision solely her own to put blended synthetic oil in my car and a filter that does not even go with my car, When I went to my car to show her my last oil change which clearly stated mobile 1 full Synthetic and the correct filter belonging to my car model, then she says oh OK and throws my paperwork towards me. At the time. I said, excuse me. Not knowing she-had already had the worker to put the wrong oil in my car. I told her to drain it out. At that time, she called the parts store and ordered 5 quarts of Mobile 1 full synthetic my car required 7 quarts of Mobile 1 oil. I am not for sure if she already had 2 quarts available but I doubt that too. If you take it upon your own cognitive to put the incorrect oil in a persons car, then you may have left 2 quarts of blended oil in my car which made my car run loud and rough. Susan was charging me 107.00 for my oil changed until she overheard the conversation between Cable Damer and my self about the cost of the oil change 89.95 Susan then printed out the cost for 89.95. I told Susan if you are going to be more expensive than the dealership I may as well go to the dealership. On Monday I called her and told her about the situation and that I went to Cable Damer to get another oil change on my car which I shouldn’t had to do so. Susan called me back and said she talked to the Cable Damer dealer and they said my car wasn’t running loud. I know how my car should run. I told Susan that’s not the issue at hand. The issue is you took it upon your own yourself to put the wrong oil in my car. I was not comfortable with it. That’s the reason why I call the dealer for an oil change. Susan said she would not refund my money so here’s her review don’t ever take your car to Mikes Auto when Susan is there. Susan is the problem it’s not the workers. They only do what they’re told to do even if it’s not right. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau the Attorney General and I will be putting a bad review on Google.

I would give a zero. I got a oil change using a coupon package. I was told my vehicle would not make it far (out of the parking lot)without replacing the front tie rods and bearings ($1200.00). A week later I went to Monty's safety lane for state inspection. No mention was made about front end I ask them to check it out and referred to what the mechanic at Mikes told me. "There is no issue found" is what I was told. If you are presented with a costly repair bill (if you had no previous issue) get a second opinion. I took my car in for the oil change (using the coupon) and was told by the same mechanic my left tail light was out and would need a new relay kit $275.00 I went to dealer to see if there was a recall. The dealership replaced the bulb for free after I told them about Mikes. My tail lights are still working fine a year later. Of course you would say not in your system . I have my receipt with the info for truck and car

I couldn't recommend Mike's Auto more!! I have been taking my car to Mike's for years. Even when I lived in Colorado, I would bring my car back to them to have work done. They are full of integrity and honesty. Susan is amazing at listening to you, and answering all questions. I had overheated my 2010 Dodge Challenger and basically it was screwed they got me a good reman motor went to the whole process of getting installed properly also fixed other details of the vehicle that were problems it took a little time but they made sure I knew every step of the way what was going on I felt good about the situation and where my money was going solid company I have nothing bad to say about him by the way my baby runs like a champ now

I took my car here to have a fuel injector replaced. I already knew which injector was bad from a computer diagnostic. After taking off my intake manifold the shop told me they wouldn’t be able to finish as they had never done this on a newer Camaro and didn’t want to damage it. They charged me 630.00 to put my intake back on and they lost one of the bolts. I did the job myself and it took me two hours. Over six hundred dollars for their mistake and no repairs. I felt robbed and cheated.

I took my truck in to get a leak fixed and instead of the employees calling me to say your truck is ready, the workers Jroc and Chris gate’s dropped my vehicle off to my house and the job wasn’t done, I had all dash lights on then none of my transmission pigtails wasn’t hooked up also my truck was driven and stuck in first gear, so I called the shop and they sent Jroc to look at my truck he also brought transmission fluid and just poured it into my transmission without the tube installed in my transmission and there went all the fluid on my driveway, my truck wasn’t able to drive at all so they said have it towed up to the shop and they will pay for the tow bill that was $200 and when I and the tow truck driver arrived at the shop it was closed for the weekend, not to mention the shop hours says closed but employees are doing side work on weekends when shop supposed to be closed for business also the $850 that I already paid to get the leak fixed, so I go up to the business on Monday morning and the owner a lady and her son in law was there I talked to them and let them know what the problem was and she told me it’s nothing she can do because her shop was closed on weekends but her employees did the services to my vehicle at the shop of business. She even called the police on me and told them I was trespassing on property and I was there just trying to get my vehicle fixed or my money back since I didn’t get the service I paid for…..Please don’t take y’all’s vehicle to this shop, they will destroy your vehicle and say it had other problems…. So now I’m waiting on my attorney and court date……. Since I can’t respond back to the owner after her post, I will post the pics and videos of how they did me truck will all the leaks, the company didn’t even give me a receipt for the work I even paid for, then not to mention Christopher Gates one of her employees told me that he bought a gasket. I have pictures on my cell phone and proof of my communication with them and the damages what they did with my truck. I also had my truck scanned after they drop my vehicle off at my house with no sensor plugged in my transmission and whatsoever. I brought the truck back up Christopher Gates plugged the connectors back in. I have him on a dashboard camera Also working on under my truck when I brought it back up while the owner was there her and her stepson-in-law Scott. These pictures and videos are at mikes auto when I brought my vehicle back because I has been seeing spots on my driveway first, I tried to be cool about the situation and talk it out with the owners and she blew me off while her son in law Scott was telling the owner Susan that if they don’t fix the problem it will become another lawsuit on the company and Susan stated to Scott she doesn’t care, Since the Original owner Mike has passed away they have been treating customers with little no respect at all, So I’ll be also contacting BBB of this matter also
