Jin (the owner) is probably the best mechanic I've had the opportunity to interact with - very knowledgeable AND super friendly. He has been working on my 2007 BMW 335i for the past 2 years (since he was working at a different shop), and every time he exceeded my expectations. He's fixed everything from my headlights, spark plugs, engine misfires, and even simple things like oil changes. I am very particular about repairs on my car due to it being an old German car, and Jin is one of the few people I trust to touch it. I'm so glad he has his own shop now so that he can truly show his talent. Do yourself a favor and check his shop out - you will not be disappointed!

Great shop and awesome staff! Jin was very honest, knowledgeable and super friendly! Him and his crew of Jack and Jesus fixed an issue with my car that the dealership I originally was taking it to wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for! ($6000). The price in the end was very fair ($600) and this will be my go to place for all of my future car needs!

They said if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Not Jinhee. He is the real deal. Honest, fair, and goes beyond my expectations. I first met Jinhee when he gave a free diagnostic test to my car. Everyone else i called are charging $$. He had me from then on. Today, i got a flat tire. He sent Jack (friendly, empathetic, and really nice) to my office to check if it can be repaired. Then sent towing to my office. The whole nine yards! Texted me it is ready with the new tire. Only charged me the tire, no labor, no towing. What an awesome dude! A trustworthy car repair shop is essential. I highly recommend Root Autoworks. Thank you Jinhee and Jack for another wonderful experience (from a very sad tire situation).

Root Autoworks is fairly new shoo in the area. I have been looking for a “good reliable and trustworthy shop” i can rely on. The shop provided timely yet very professional repair service and I am super satisfied. The shop was located at very convenient location and everyone was super nice!! I had my project car that I am working on and had oil pan gasket issue. The shop repaired the issue in short amount of time with a fair cost of repair. It is definitely the shop I will continuously bring my vehicles in whenever I need the service! 👍👍

I had my Dinan exhaust installed on my M240i at Root Auto Works, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a shop I could actually trust. Jack and Jin did the works on my car and made sure everything that needed attention was handled. From the transmission fluid change to checking the battery, installing a new deck, cleaning the engine bay, and even reminding me to keep an eye on my starter, they thought of things I didn’t even think to ask about. On top of that, they told me what actually mattered to fix and what I could wait on. The prices were fair and they were completely upfront and honest about everything. The pictures don’t do it justice. My car might be old, but it feels brand new now. I feel lucky to have found this shop.
