Just moved here from Oregon and thought the brakes were shot. Took the car in for repair and to my surprise the owner lady told me they were fine and there was no charge for checking them. Plus, she gave me and my daughter a ride home when we dropped the car off. Moving to new city can be daunting but with people like these guys not taking advantage of the situation makes you appreciate the fact that people with integrity and honesty still do exist. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some car work done.

I took my dad's truck in to have it looked over for a cross country trip. My husband spoke to the mechanic who checked over the truck . My husband felt the mechanic was very knowledgeable and honest. My husband is an ag mechanic. So his opinion of another mechanic was important to me. Also while I was in the office all of the people were extremely helpful and nice. I'll definitely be back! Do NOT take your vehicle here unless you want to waste a bunch of money and fix things on your car that wasn’t wrong before being brought it. Horrible business. If I could give Zero stars I would.

Amazing service!! Have already told everyone I know of my experience with Bruce and his wife. I encountered Rosedale Automotive when I needed an Interstate car battery after Costco did not have any in stock. Knowing that I never return the core I elected to have Rosedale Automotive replace my battery for me. As I quietly waited in the lobby I overheard Bruce’s wife go over the billing for a repair on a Corvette. The quoted price was much higher than what the customer ended up being charged because Bruce asked for a few quoted items to be removed from the bill since the ‘Vette did not need such recommend services. I was SHOCKED!! This is the last honest mechanic anywhere and I have found him! I have another positive encounter with very similar result but I don’t want to make the review too long. A++ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5

We have taken both my husband's truck and my car here, and they have always worked quickly and do great work! They are so honest- Bruce told me after looking at my car that the brakes would probably last another 6 months or so before they really needed work, so he gave the car back to me with no charge whatsoever! Fast and friendly and let me tell you.. it was the fastest smog test I ever got.. to me it felt like a blink of an eye. We got there early and it paid off. They took care of business and didn't mess around. Their prices were fair and since they are just literally down a few blocks from where I live it was the perfect place to go. Everything worked out fine and I passed my smog test and had all my paperwork sent off to renew my tags for 2021.. So THANK YOU ROSEDALE AUTOMOTIVE for the wonderful service and fast no nonsense business. I will definitely be coming back here next time my smog is due in another 2 years.. The belt tensioner broke on my F-150, and I needed the repair done that day to get to work the next morning. I got the truck to them by 11 am, after I had verified with them in a phone call that they could fix it that day. I called about 3 pm and they still hadn’t fixed it, because they said they didn’t have the parts. I had already researched the parts and knew where I could immediately pick them up, so I asked if they could get it done if I brought them the parts, but in the midst of the conversation they said the parts arrived. They insisted on replacing the belt, claiming that it was torn, but I insisted on keeping the old belt. It looks perfect (much better than the belt they installed, which looked worn from the start). When I showed the old belt to the mechanic he admitted that he couldn’t see anything wrong with it. They did finish the repair that same day, just before closing time. But they did more than what I approved and charged me much more for the parts than I could have paid. In comparison, the identical problem happened two years ago when we were traveling through Georgia. Thankfully that time the shop got us back on the road in an hour and charged us $150 (less than half what I paid this time). I’m still dealing with the aftermath of this repair, as some new issues might be related. I knew it didn’t sound right the moment I drove away but I really didn’t want to deal with them anymore, and I figured they wouldn’t want to deal with me either, as it had seemed that I was imposing on them to try to get them to get it done that day.

From the moment I called this establishment, they were nothing but helpful. Julie is such a kind and sweet lady who helped me with every single issue that I had and there were a few. I probably had called 15 other shops and none of them wanted to help. Finally got in touch with this shop and Julie was quick, helpful and all around a pleasure. With 2 text messages and a picture we were rolling. The shop helped me with all of the insurance and took care of everything. Steven was on the insurance like white on rice and made sure things kept moving. I received calls at least twice a week to update me on what was going on and what was still needed. I was never in the dark about anything going on. I can’t recommend this place enough. Give them a call. You won’t regret it !! Thanks guys. The flex is back on the road !!

NOT a good place for repairs. No quality control and they use trashy parts from O'Reily so I had to get all of the repairs done AGAIN (and pay for them again)! My daughter was towing her horse up to college in the northern Sierras so I paid full price to get her Tundra set up for her. I thought I was doing the right thing by getting these things done at Rosedale Automotive. Big mistake. * Replaced the leaky radiator and thermostat. * Replaced the aging water pump. * Replaced the aging timing belt. They never bother to check their work! My daughter starts her 7-hr trip towing a horse through the sierras. The cheapo O'Reily radiator is trash - hissing and leaking right out of the shop. The new water pump starts leaking out the coolant. My daughter has to complete her trip with an overheating truck, all while caring for a horse on the road. I paid a fortune to keep this from happening and instead Rosedale Automotive made it happen. At my daughter's destination I had to find a real mechanic to fix these things correctly and I had to go to war with O'Reily's to honor the warranty on their "new" parts. If you are really counting on a repair that works heed this warning. Tried to post the video of the bubbling hissing new cooling system but Google couldn't do it. This was something they couldn't see before giving us the truck?!?!?
