After going to another Pep Boys location (on Lane), thinking I would receive the same standard of service and was proven wrong, I returned to RPM on Roosevelt and will never stray again! RPM staff are helpful, courteous, and attentive. They take care of my vehicle and it always feels great when I get behind the wheel after a service. RPM forever!

Unfortunately RPM is not the same as it was 14 years ago when we first started coming here. PepBoys had "36 month warranty and free replacement" in the verbage for the Battery that we purchased. Not true/false advertising - they only credited the original cost of the battery (179.99) towards the new cost of the same battery ($219). Inflation shouldn't be something I have to pay when the PepBoys "3 year battery" only lasts 24 months. As if that wasn't enough....they tried to tell me I needed a cabin air filter replacement.... even though the dealership replaced it less than two months ago. Shameful attempt to tack on more unnecessary work to drive revenue. Similar incident happened on oil change a couple years ago- tacked on a 24.99$ "fuel system treatment" on to an oil change without talking to my wife first - didn't mention it at the counter - we found out later when reviewing paperwork. To be fair, the staff there is overworked and PepBoys (owned by Warren Buffett, betcha didn't know that?) is driving most of the issues with their service. Their advantage is they are convenient and do reasonably quick work - we love the location due only to geography, but very concerned with trustworthiness. I feel bad for the workers there but PepBoys has nearly ruined a formerly good local business.

Tyler and the manager Michael are absolutely top notch Employees. Their team is well put together and everyone here is respectable and a pleasure to deal with. I have been to many car service shops and never have I felt like “part” of the crew like I do here at RPM. Great Job!! Amazing service!!

As always a fair price for quality work. The Dealership almost took me for over 1k on an expensive parts and to many hours repair. It was my 1st newer car and I was a little taken back by parts cost. Spoke with RPM put my big boy head back on and ended up with an upgraded vehicle for 1k less!

Unfortunately, my experience with this place was disappointing, with both the customer service and the quality of work falling below expectations. My interactions with the customer service representative, Mike, were particularly unpleasant. While he used polite language like "sir" and "thank you," his overall demeanor was condescending and arrogant. He seemed disheveled and displayed a dismissive attitude, failing to truly listen to my concerns and becoming defensive when questioned. This created an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. Regarding the repair work, I initially spent around $2,500 to address an overheating issue in June. However, the problem persisted, and I had to return the vehicle a few weeks later. While they rectified the issue under warranty, the same overheating problem resurfaced five months later. This time, they claimed it was a separate issue not covered by the warranty. Given the recurring nature of the problem and my lack of confidence in their diagnostic and repair abilities, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I would advise others to do the same.

The staff at the desk were fantastic. Offered me a donut from Dunkin—automatic 1/4 of a Star. The rest of the 4.75 of the Stars is towards their customer service. I was there for a number of things, one of them was an Alignment. There was an issue with a couple of the tie rods that prohibited them to properly align the wheels. So they explained, with pictures, what the issue was. Their level of knowledge was apparent as they were explaining everything in detail; where the issue was located, what the part does, how the issue affected the car, etc etc. As I was waiting in the lobby they gave periodic updates. An engaging group of staff there. They were approachable, sociable, hilarious and professional. No issues noticed after all the work was done. Would recommend them 100%

This place I cannot recommend enough seriously!!! We just got done being stranded on the side of the road after popping our tire on something leaving work… our tow truck canceled, ERS from my insurance would be another hour to us and this place was set to close…. Mike Carter, their GM, said bet: “Be there in ten minutes. sit tight”. He came out to try and do our flat for us right there on the side of Roosevelt!!! Our car never came with a wheel lock (I know… ridiculous) and he handled that too. Took my husband back to pay and handled everything within like 30 minutes tops… I know this sounds rehearsed but I seriously have never been so impressed by an auto shop before… (the price was not bad at all either, better than most). Thanks again to Mike for being so kind and able to help us get home to our dogs safely!

Company work Van was running rough called RPM Friday morning. They said, sure, bring it on in. We'll look at it today. Might have to wait till tomorrow to work on it. Only brought it to them because they are open on the weekend. Mention to them when I come in if we are not on a account, then call me and I will get them a p o. Wait till late Saturday, no call back, call them evidently. They had not looked at it yet. All they had to do was check the codes to find out what needed to be done. They say they're going to get on it. Come Sunday afternoon, still, no call ,go up there And pick it up, they tell me, oh, we've been trying to call your office. We can't do anything without a PO. I told them that's why I gave them my phone number. What office is open on a christmas weekend. Wasted, three days letting it sit there and they never even touched it. Sorry about the voice to text.
