Well, I stated in a previous review that I would drive as far as 2 hours to continue to receive great service from McKenney Salinas Honda in Gastonia, NC. Well guess what...I now live about 6 hours away. After, unsuccessfully attempting to get my vehicle serviced in my new location, I drove for almost 6 hours to MSH. The service expert, Jasper Powe, has not disappointed me, yet. He seems to take great care of all of his customers and goes out of his way to do so. Jasper has excellent customer service and vehicle knowledge, great consideration and shows kindness to his customers. He seems to always have a smile on his face. He goes out of his way for his customers and is often humorous.

The service technicians were great, and they got everything done quickly. When I went to check out, I wanted to use a Synchrony Car Care card (6 months, deferred interest). I've used this card at every other Honda dealership I've been to. The cashier hadn't seen it before and called her supervisor over (I think her name was Tammy). Tammy was very blunt and condescending in telling me the card was not accepted there and had never been accepted there. Then, she walked away before the conversation was finished. I used a different card and was informed that all credit card charges are subject to an additional 3% fee. I will be going to Honda of Concord next time. *Update 11/2/22: Thank you for the response! I spoke with Brian, and he gave me a credit for the 3% fee plus a few extra dollars. He said he would take a look at the card to see if it would be something they might be able to accept next time. I really appreciate the follow-through!

I stopped in one day recently for a quick check about a blue tooth/apple car play problem I was having with my CRV. I just want to say that Jasper was the epitome of excellence! The only thing I needed was a new key cut and programmed. The vehicle is older and they were able to get the FOB with no issues. Staff was helpful and friendly. The work area is very clean and neat. Overall, looks like the service dept manager does a good job of keeping the area safe and clear. The techs and techs seem to take pride in their area as well.

Showed up this afternoon to have my oil changed and my brakes serviced. After picking up the vehicle I noticed that the brake job was never done. Now I have to take out more time out of another day to get something done that should have been done in the first place! Super annoying...

I recently went here for an oil change which was alright, there was a customer who mentioned to me that I need to be careful because Honda doesn’t always do a great job but charge you dor extra stuff. It reminded me of a few months back I came for a service and I asked if my windshield fluid could be filled. I’m not sure what happened but when I got home fluid was leaking from under my car. When I went back they said the wires were disconnected. I had to pay like $70-$75 for them to reconnected. I don’t understand how everything was fine before I came in, and then I leave and something happens to my car. I’m very disappointed I never spoke to someone about this.

Took my vehicle to be repaired using the warranty. First time visit. No one greeted me. No one directed me or even really helped me on what to do or where to go. I called to have a message relayed and they said I have to call back that they cannot give other workers messages. I have never dealt with a dealership like this.
