Tried 3 other places and was turned away for a sticker due to "not having anyone to do them" or shutting down inspections at 9am because they "didn't have the time." Pulled into Sam's, waited less than 10 min, got my sticker and was on my way. He seemed to be a one man show at that time too. He was my hero today and I would use him again in the future.

They have no clue, no experienced mechanics. Always is small claims court for subpar work...place looks abandoned now that word got out that they suck.

I've been going to Sam's for years. Honest, and knowledgeable. Open on Saturday’s for inspection stickers too, which is a plus. Great place to have your auto serviced.

These guys are a hoot! No nonsense from the jump, ask for something he quotes, gives you a time frame and gets it done early. Dropped my car off around closing and I drove by an hour later and the guys were working through the night to get the job done. Had it ready for me first thing in the AM. Didn’t take themselves too seriously and gives you some great laughs if you talk to the gentleman. First time using them and it will not be my last. Even left my car cleaner than when I gave it to them. I would highly recommend if these guys are nearby

I had my ford broken down on I-93 on the weekendI had initially towed to ford auto in quincy but they weren’t able to take a look at it. so had to get it towed somewhere else. Called Sam’s auto and they fixed my car the next day. Staff is friendly and experienced. They have been in neighborhood for a quite a while.

These guys run a very solid shop. They always get to the root of the problem, fix it properly, and the fix lasts. Pricing is very reasonable. The only reason I gave 4 stars, not 5, is because they've had my car for over a week, previously,, and not kept up communication.

I brought my car there with a few issues-a squealing noise, non-functional parking brake, and oil leak. They told me I needed brakes all around when they were done a month prior and were unable to find anything on the parking brake issue or oil leak. On the bright side they didn't ask for payment as no work was completed. I took it to another shop the next week. The other shop was able to verify and resolve the squealing and parking brake concerns, and advised that the oil leak was minor and more money to fix than it was worth. I'd probably go back for an oil change or maintenance but it's not going to be my regular shop.

Service was good and fairly priced. Dropped my car off for engine work and when i received my car back my trunk had been clearly rummaged through and I had personal items missing from my car. Owners number and email was on my receipt so i reached out to both with no response. I tipped the mechanic with a cigar on a previous visit and on my next visit had a pretty rare cigar taken from my car. Coincidence? dont think so

This was a good place when the owner ran it. My engine and my money are both too precious for me to play games with an oil pan plug. Good mechanics don't need to steal from unsuspecting customers, and a good reputation is fragile in the information age. Is never ok to lie for increased profit.
